The cheese on the Caesar salad had that rich, creamy texture that only comes from really good product, and the pizza was well-made with a beautifully charred crust and fresh toppings. That said, I found the prices to be steep for what you get. $21 for a salad and $35 for a pizza felt hard to justify, even with the quality. It's definitely a spot that leans more toward a special treat than a casual dinner out. If you're all about premium ingredients and authentic Neapolitan-style pizza, this place delivers...but be prepared for the bill to reflect that.

The AI algorithm must have read my mind as my cell news feed kept posting several pieces on this pizzeria. LOL. I'd forgotten that I hadn't been back to Spacca Napoli in over 8 years. Here I was reading in my news feed that this pizzeria was now #1 in Canada. I rarely if ever write a second review of a restaurant, but I just had to for SN. SN is a small restaurant with an Italian feel to it. You can see the beautiful red oven where the pizzas are heated up. My brother & I shared the tantalizing La Casalinga Salad - one of the best salads I've ever had while dining out. We shared two pizzas - a Capricciosa (it was great) & the magnificent Maradona (spicy sausage). The crust is so chewy & tastes excellent. What was surprising to find was that I didn't feel like a stuffed bear after completing the pizza. For dessert I had the awesome Pistachio Tiramisù. Mama Mia! I cannot lie - SN is the numero uno best tasting pizza in Metro Vancouver! I absolutely cannot wait to get back here ASAP! *Heads up Alert - no reservations taken, first come first served.

Vesuvio, another name for Vesuvius, Mount Vesuvius…read more Interesting name for a pizzeria. I will enquire next time I visit the meaning of it. Ladies and gentlemen, this is best pizza to day I had outside of Italy. As part of the extended birthday celebration, my anti-carb partner indulged me to choose. Of course pizza, but which one? Vesuvio is a relatively unknown hidden pizza joint among sea of pizza franchises like Panago, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesar's within the 2 km radius. The flow of foot traffic at Vesuvio is steady where other eateries in the strip mall are asleep in this covid ridden time. We had the #7 carne (prosciutto and pepperoni). Let me tell you, the thickness of the crust was perfect. It's edge was thin. The sauce and cheese were in perfect balance. After four slices, and half a pizza later, I was looking for more. Great service and great price. Definitely worth it. Will be back

The only disappointment was that I sat on my moral high ground instead of just giving into my wanton desire. So far I have eaten two of their pies; Pesto Chicken (self-explanatory ingredients) and the Little Italy (classic Pepperoni). The quality and freshness of the ingredients is visual, for example the Chicken was sliced thick, easy to tell it was from a single breast piece. When you put that sort of care on their over the top good thin crust, you have a perfect combination. The Little Italy was all flavour and not greasy, so satisfying. Next time I order, pretty sure I'm going to try something with less traditional ingredients, which normally is a crap shoot, but I have faith Vesuvio can pull it off....maybe their Bianca (Zucchini, Spinach, Corn, Sun Dried Tomato and Bleu Cheese) or Quatro (Ham, Shrimp, WTF Crab!, Mushroom). Price point is beyond affordable, third party delivery was fast and efficient. Vesuvio is literally a 12/10, now my go to pizza place, 100% recommend.

It is a small restaurant so it can quite intimate with whoever you're there with. But it's a clean and very beautifully decorated restaurant. A cute small patio as well for the summer time. Italian food is one of my favourite cuisines. However, I am dairy free and it's very rare to find an Italian restaurant specifically that'll provide dairy free and/or vegan options. Lucky for me, this restaurant had the option of providing dairy free cheese on any of their pizzas (at an additional cost). Plus I saw that they had one vegan option on their menu which was great so I could still enjoy the food. While they have vast menu, they didn't have alot of options with just beef on its own and we didn't see any chicken options. Lots of pork options and beef/pork combinations; but they did have some vegetarian and fish options as well. I would recommend making a reservation though because they can get very busy since it is a small restaurant. I've been here on Friday/saturday/sunday evenings and luckily we made a reservation each time because it was full. Unfortunately the parking isn't a very big lot either so do be mindful of that if you are driving in especially during the day time because they are sharing the parking space with 3 other businesses. Luckily it is transit accessible as well if you don't want to drive here.

Prices sit at the edge of discomfort for what you get - this isn't a value spot. I tried the calzone and the carbonara; the calzone arrived slightly burnt on the outside and very wet inside, likely from raw vegetables, and it didn't compare to versions I've had in Italy or New York. The carbonara was just okay and both dishes were only lukewarm rather than pipping hot. Service at the bar felt distracted, with the bartender drifting off mid-conversation, and the pizza maker was wearing a very worn T‑shirt styled like a chef coat, which added to a generally casual, neighborhood feel. Overall, it was a hearty enough meal for the area, but with these prices and execution, it's a 3‑star experience.

I remember the first time I tried the crust and was literally mind blown that it could be so airy, fluffy and freaking delicious. I'm indifferent about normal bread loafs that are regular or sourdough but holy cow , sourdough pizza crust is something else ! My favorite has been the perfect storm which is as the name says, the perfect amount of saltiness, sweetness, texture and flavour. I usually dont like mushrooms unless the mushrooms have cooked out the moisture a lot and while this pie doesn't look very appealing it is so yummy too. My partner is very pleased thst BBQ chicken is a regularly listed flavour as sometimes you have make it yourself at other restaurants. I will say any of the pizzas even taste good cold/ next day - which I always try to test for pizzas and fried chicken because its a solid place if it tastes good cold !! The parking lot is very small as there is a sushi place and a subway as neighbour's but also because surprisingly it is a Tesla charging hub so many people are just there to charge their car. I want to say there is like 11 spots or so... and not much room to turn in to check for parking and to turn your car around, you'll need some good reverse skills :). I suggest parking across from the gas station or along Bainbridge on the same side as the restaurant. One small thing is that sometimes the pizza slices aren't cut evenly. Like significantly off. For example, this time for each pie( we ordered BBQ chicken and funghi again) there was 1-2 slices that are about the quarter of the pie in size! I am only showing the pizza sizes as the other photos are similar to what have been posted already. One other observation is that there are so many staff working at a time - any time I've picked up , there have been 5 people ? I appreciate a good system but also if there are that many people j expect more perfection - including the pizza slize sizes ! Possibly because of the number of staff, that drives the pricing up a bit as the pies are on the pricier size for a medium sized pizza. I do wish you could order larger sizes as it only comes in one size. In conclusion, even with the small things mentioned, I wouldn't dock any stars because the sourdough is just too worth it to be phased and I have always enjoyed a meal from this place :).

I understand that it takes time to make and deliver the pizzas especially during the rush hour on a weekend but the wait time was still slightly longer than expected. The food was also cold (not even lukewarm) when they arrived. (Our location was only 10 min away!) The flavors were slightly lacking because the toppings were quite sparse. From my photos, the distribution of the toppings look pretty decent but, mind you, the pizza was huge (18"), and so the space between each piece of topping was actually wider than it looked in the photos! Ordering on the App/web is pretty smooth and easy. You can also buy pizza by the slices in store. The pizza and ingredients were fresh. It wasn't overly salty or greasy and the pizza was cooked well without being overly burnt / charred. However, I wished they were more generous with the basil on the pizza (if you look at my picture you can see the basil is tiny). The caprese is also a bit salty because of the capers but I just picked those off. Also, because of how thin the crust is, I think it's better to eat it fresh because if you get a pizza with lots of toppings, it can get soggy fast.
