The salon is clean, prices are comparable to other local salons, the Spa Pedicure has all the bells and whistles including paraffin and callous removal. Owner is professional, nail techs are skilled. Got my nails done by Jason today. Definitely my favorite acrylic set so far, I just started getting my nails done within the last 3-4 months and each set I've gotten at other places have had very visible imperfections but not this one. He did a fantastic job. I even hit my nail when I went to put it under the light and messed it up and I was just gonna keep it like that because it was my own fault but he insisted on fixing it for me and did it so quickly. I tried the anew QT nail 2-months ago and was warmly greeted by the staff, and was impressed by the spacious layout, and bright and clean up-to-date new furnishings and equipment. Please ignore any of the previous negative reviews as this establishment is clearly under new ownership and has the good vibes of an owner who not only tries to accommodate and please the guests, but it's seems clears that the staff is treated well too. I had the pleasure of having my service performed by a very bubbly and professional technician (Kiki) who took the time to give me a perfect mani-pedi . I'm very hard on my hands and feet, and I'm sure the mess I present to Kiki must have looked daunting- but she smiled sincerely and went about giving me one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I came back today and once again she did not disappoint. Keep it up Kiki and new management. I might also add that they have quite a few choices of services, however they're not pushy about it. If you do not care to upgrade, there seems to be a "no worries", kind of attitude, which makes for a very comfortable and pleasant afternoon. The salon is absolutely disgusting! It is so obviously dirty, I couldn't get comfortable in any chair. Especially during a pandemic, you would think that cleaning should be a priority. This is not the case at QT. The entire place is covered in dust and so run down. They are using the same tools, brushes and files on everyone. I needed to drown myself in hand sanitizer when I left. Besides that they are way more overpriced than everywhere else, the place is literally a health hazard! read more

I pretty much always come here and truthfully it's a hit or miss - I heard if you make an appointment you never rarely are taken on time. I never make an appointment and am a regular walk in customer. I don't go to a specific person but rather different people every time which most likely contributes to the inconsistency. Don't go here. I went when the place wasn't that busy. They told me 15 minute wait & I waited an hour. I went for a last minute mani pedi for a wedding. Which I know is my fault but when I finally sat down they rushed everything. When they were almost finished I stopped the girl and told her to look at what she did. Had my first (and last) experience at QT Nail Spa. To me, the word "spa" is associated with some form of luxury - that this is NOT. My first issue was with the polish selection. The selection was full of old polishes and I mean bottom of the makeup drawer, haven't seen in years type of old. The polish in the bottles were separated and it was apparent they wouldn't polish correctly. I settled on what I assume was Marshmallow by Essie, though I could not tell as the labels on bottoms of all the bottles were scraped off like a serial number from a stolen gun. When I sat in the chair the nail tech was fidgeting around with the nail clipper, which took my attention away from observing the clutter and dust throughout the salon. The clipper was rusted and dirty! After attempting to clean it with nail polish remover (I was never aware that there were sanitary benefits in acetone) she proceeded to pull out a "sanitary" pack and take out new clippers. She put the rusty clippers in the sanitary pack and put it back in the drawer. It was clear what she pulled out to use at this point was also not clean as it was already covered in white, powdery nail dust. The nail tech proceed to cut and file my nails - each one into their very own unique length and shape. Now I realize trends are changing constantly: there is squoval and almond, stilletto and baellerina but I'm sure whatever she did to my nails is not the next "new thing" but rather the work of someone who is rushing through what she is doing and probably not properly trained. The polish went on, grainy and uneven as anticipated. Fast forward to the nail drier which did not work very well. Needless to say, this was not a pleasant day at the "spa". I will not be going back there but I will be scheduling an appointment for a tetanus shot and taking a shower stat. read more

Walked in on a Sunday with no appointment. Thought for sure I would have a long wait or would have to come back later, but they were able to take me and my 5 year old daughter in right away. Please do NOT waste your time. It looks very nice when you walk in however the driers don't work at all. You can't even feel the air coming out of them. If your driers don't work then don't do nail polish so thick. Wasted about an hour Bc the drier never worked and the nail polish was so thick! The gel manicure I had at this place came okay. Not to happy with it, the lady rush through it, the owner was nice as he greeted me at the door. BUYER BEWARE!! So angry after my experience today. I had stopped going to QT after being a regular customer due to them often overbooking and appointments taking longer than expected, but today has sealed their fate. I decided to give them another try and became a victim of the old "bait and switch:. I arrived with two broken nails and it was suggested to me during my pedicure that since a fill-in and repairs would be $26 and a brand new full set would be $29 it might be a good time to start fresh with a new set. I agreed and after soaking off my nails (which only soaked the gel polish off as they pried off my nails using a Metro Card-at an additional charge) it was suggested that silk wraps might be better than acrylic which is what I had and would be thinner and equally as strong, I conceded and got a silk set. When it came time to pay-boy was I surprised when the silk set was $55. Amazing how they tell you the additional cost of everything along the way-but failed to mention the $26 difference. I complained and after speaking to two different people-they deducted $10 from the bill. (The original bill was $110 including the pedicure) Never again! My nails look nice, but I was there over 2 hours and feel completely swindled,. I promised them a review on yelp and to never return. The two stars are because the girl who did my nails was very nice but the management totally blew it! read more

I was given a gift certificate here and had two pedicure experiences. The first one was with the owner who did a great job and was very friendly and talkative. I had scheduled an appointment and it went well, although I ran out of time to get my manicure to match. I ended up having to leave and unfortunately did not have my hands done going to my nieces recital. I came back a second time, and while the woman doing my pedicure did a good job, it seemed rushed. She seemed mad that I didn't upgrade to a spa pedicure. While using the callus remover she was a bit rough and while I understand she was attempting to get the job done, it hurt. I have a bad knee and the position my leg was twisting wasn't very comfortable. She was laughing during it maybe trying to make light of the situation, I'm not sure. The polish looks nice and my feet are smooth, but I would have liked some cream applied to my heels as they felt very dry afterwards. When I went to sit at the dryer she came back and presented me with my bill and a quick shoulder rub. I gave her the gift card and cash to pay the balance and she said I had already used the gift card. I told her that a gentleman wrote the date I was last in the salon with the available balance left over. She abruptly walked away and got someone to help her. It didn't end up being a problem, and shouldn't have been, but for a minute I thought it was going to be. The salon is ok and the owner is very nice. I think I would need to try some other things here to really rate this completely. Two completely different experiences with the pedicures. If you want a nice experience I suggest you go with the spa pedicure, because without it at this salon, you won't get much of a leg massage. The spa pedicures are also all priced $40-$45. Other salons I've been to throw in the callus removal for $35 and offer a 15 minute massage as well as several leg masks. I think it is pretty pricy here for what you get. read more

When the new owners took over, it has become a day from hell, first of all they do not even attempt to speak English.... you have the managers husband starting and just having a disgusting look on his face, bossing around the workers and making the clients feel very uncomfortable. This is unacceptable. ...We are here to relax and enjoy ourselves, The prices have gone up and the service down, no more coupons. Not happy how things are going, but since my girls are there I will give them another shot....otherwise, I will be in touch with the state and have them come down and invalidate business.
