Was taken off my debit card and posted immediately. Did not stay and was told I would get it right back, the n t day. Had to make my way home with no car from Ventura, Ca to Los Angeles... in the middle of the night, approx 3 hours from home.. Very bad situation. I call every few months and still haven't gotten my money back, it has been 7 months. I am a very physically disabled person currently approaching major back surgery, and really need this money back. Pax seemed nice, and I gave him the money, but as soon as he went home I was left to deal with staff members who were not less than savage, as they kept my money. I have called 12 times, have logged all of the calls, never a call back. They don't seem like compassionate people to be in the business of helping others. Atleast this was my experience

Hands down the best communication & respect I've received to help me on my journey. I leave next Friday which in turn will be 30 days reset for me. This is my first experience ever in any rehabilitation center. I am glad I can in when I did. I've met some great people here along my journey to support my decision to enroll here. If you're thinking about coming here and can. Do it. You won't retreat it. Top notch care & the food is above average & always fresh. Thank you Logan & staff for being a part of my journey. All the therapist are top line. Jake the gym trainer, the best. Super sweet gentleman. From the services they offer to the nurses. Top line. Not to mention for being form East LA native Mexican-America Chicano, I was treated with Class & respect. All walks of life come here that I lived with for 30 days. Thank you Passages. shout out to John in the RS department.

This facility actually cares about their clients!…read more I'm filled with gratitude to this facility. I was in true despair and was ready to throw it all away, everything I had worked so hard for, all of it, it was horrible. By chance we found this facility and it was exactly what I needed. I was ready and willing to do whatever it took to get myself back in order and La Ventana gave me the tools that are necessary to make that happen. The staff treated me like family and everyone on board is passionate about what they do. I was given the structure and encouragement I needed, they were patient with me and let me be myself. They absolutely went above and beyond for me and my family and I will be forever grateful to them. I'm so glad we found this facility and my new extended family. Thank you EVERYONE at La Ventana, we got this!!!

Please do your research before trusting this company with your time and money. I wish I had known…read morethis before coming here. They defrauded my insurance company by falsely charging for treatments I never got. Not only that when I wanted to discharge early I was told my insurance would not cover any of it. I stayed three weeks longer out of fear that I would have insane medical debt. Only to find out none of that is true. Three weeks of my life wasted... After this experience I did my research and come to find out this company has a history of using and abusing its employees and clients. Ranging from sexual misconduct to insurance fraud schemes. Here's a tidbit of history I wish I would have known: 2014 lawsuit: A female employee was fired by the owner for reporting her manager for sexual harassment. 2024 lawsuit: A female employee was fired by the owner for reporting a client for sexual harassment and raising safety concerns. 2024 lawsuit: The former CEO is suing the owner for sexual assault and battery. Allegedly he coerced her to perform sexual activities in exchange for monetary gain. The details of this case are quite disturbing. Dr crownover was my obgyn. I had a very difficult birth with tears and preclampsia. He wasn't there…read morefor the birth which I knew may happen. My biggest issue was when I called after having my baby because I was dizzy, in pain and could not walk.. he said it was unnecessary to see me... Just prescribed meds over the phone. I ended up in urgent care then the emergency room. This was a week after giving birth. When my 6 week check up came around they tried to cancel it when I was already in the parking lot. I was forced to reschedule, they then attempted to cancel my 6 week appointment the following week. I demanded to be seen, I was in so much pain still. HE REFUSED TO CHECK MY STITCHES, HE REFUSED TO EVEN LOOK AT MY LADY BITS. AGAIN saying it's "unnecessary". I ended up needing reconstructive procedure which would have been way easier and less expensive if it was noticed earlier.... Don't go here. They do not care about women and Dr crownover is very dismissive to women's pain. I am TRAUMATIZED from my experience here and in therapy.

I've gone to this clinic for over 10 years. Overall the experience has been worthwhile, insightful,…read moretimely. During the first 10 months, it felt like a revolving door, as each doctor I had an encounter with abruptly exited to work elsewhere. Fast forward to 2026: I've had the same primary care physician (a D.O.) for over 9 years. This D.O. pays attention--doesn't habitually deflect and bypass or interrupt. But getting on the calendar for a follow-up to test results or other scheduling is even harder this year than last year: months, not weeks, stuck in the queue. That 'business model' may be typical for the broader medical industry in California though. I got lucky in 2023 with the new Physician's Assistant available on short-notice for requisite per-surgical screening. The staff support team seems solid at this clinic and I'm glad this convenient neighborhood location has not relocated, as I can even walk or bicycle to get there. Recently, I was able to get a recommended blood panel started there. Thus, no need for a separate trip to CMH hospital or Quest or another lab site. Kudos.
