I noticed day ONE that I had come to the right place. Every staff member from the Clinical Director, Isabelle, the house manager , Meryann, the nurse , Massie, both therapists , David and Ben, and all of the MHT's treated me with kindness and ensured that my needs were met. I had a problem with my insurance and Sharon, the Chief Clinical Director, got involved to ensure I received the treatment I needed. The daily schedule is so well curated so you don't really feel like you are in therapy all day but you are really working on yourself and your recovery in a meaningful way. I really enjoyed the therapist led groups that were thought provoking and allowed for open discussion/sharing. There was so much education but it wasn't a bunch of worksheets that you filled out or read from something akin to a textbook. All of the MHT's I encountered were so compassionate and a lot of them are also pursuing careers as therapists themselves which almost felt like a cheat code. You could go on daily walks, to the park, and had numerous opportunities to get out of the house for supervised excursions. I want to address some of the negative reviews. I didn't have any of the experiences that others have but the restrictions and rules that are in place may at times feel onerous or arbitrary but they exist for a reason. The staff is willing to work with you if you are asking for something reasonable. I had numerous requests that were granted and when others weren't I understood why. If you need an elevated level of care, I highly recommend La Ventana.

Pax seemed nice, and I gave him the money, but as soon as he went home I was left to deal with staff members who were not less than savage, as they kept my money. This Inneractions of today (new owner) is run like a headless zombie. Definitely not for people who seek consistent, compassionate care. Today's Inneractions almost appears to be a monopoly business, that survives, by brining in folks straight from rehab, sending them to Inneractions Sober Living, and bringing them in for groups. Like a factory wheel. If you identify as LGBTQ+ -- Inneractions can not cater to you. Inneractions does not have the necessary tools or staff. Seek other support. Now I'm worried mind you and to top it off the next day I had to call urgent care for results I waited till 12pm I basically got told nothing was wrong. I ended up going to the ER because something is still wrong and I didn't have appendicitis just a stomach bug. I'm only writing this review because 3 days later they call me back to give me my ultrasound results and telling me I need to get a CT scan, I explained I was already treated somewhere else however I didn't like that they called me 3 days for results but called me 1 day after to give me my bill. Everybody at Santa Paula just wanted to go home, and I was no exception. The facility was a bit drab and dreary, as many of these places tend to be..."the nature of the beast" as they say. Although the Activity Department made a valiant attempt at keeping people occupied and busy with Bingo, movies, art and other games, Santa Paula Post Acute was still not "home." Residents were cared for on a day-to-day basis by CNAs (Certified Nurses' Assistants). There were also nurses (LVNs and RNs) who oversaw the passing of medications to patients, among other duties. Several nurses were also employed in the facility's various offices. During the years I was there, Santa Paula Post Acute did not have a very strong administration, which tended to lead to chaos and upsetting results in the running of the facility. I hope things are better there now! Santa Paula Post Acute is located at 250 March Street in Santa Paula.

The medical staff is very patient and caring to her needs. The dietary program exceeds our expectations. There are daily activities for her to participate from Bingo to Karaoke. Every visit to the facility is pleasant and have always found mom to be well taken care of. Of course there is no place like home, but there are circumstances where the family can no longer meet the needs and 24 hour trained staff is needed. Very compassionate staff.
