Pax seemed nice, and I gave him the money, but as soon as he went home I was left to deal with staff members who were not less than savage, as they kept my money. I was in true despair and was ready to throw it all away, everything I had worked so hard for, all of it, it was horrible. By chance we found this facility and it was exactly what I needed. I was ready and willing to do whatever it took to get myself back in order and La Ventana gave me the tools that are necessary to make that happen. The staff treated me like family and everyone on board is passionate about what they do. I was given the structure and encouragement I needed, they were patient with me and let me be myself. They absolutely went above and beyond for me and my family and I will be forever grateful to them. I'm so glad we found this facility and my new extended family. They defrauded my insurance company by falsely charging for treatments I never got. Not only that when I wanted to discharge early I was told my insurance would not cover any of it. I stayed three weeks longer out of fear that I would have insane medical debt. Only to find out none of that is true. Three weeks of my life wasted... After this experience I did my research and come to find out this company has a history of using and abusing its employees and clients. Ranging from sexual misconduct to insurance fraud schemes. Here's a tidbit of history I wish I would have known: 2014 lawsuit: A female employee was fired by the owner for reporting her manager for sexual harassment. 2024 lawsuit: A female employee was fired by the owner for reporting a client for sexual harassment and raising safety concerns. 2024 lawsuit: The former CEO is suing the owner for sexual assault and battery. Allegedly he coerced her to perform sexual activities in exchange for monetary gain. The details of this case are quite disturbing. I participated in every single group and never missed a single day. during my stay someone relasped on meth and was allowed back into the program. I was let go after crying and begging to stay for hitting my weed vape pen , admitting it and promising I would stop bc I needed this accountability . They refused and asked me to leave . I want everyone to know I left and went to a place called Totality . That continues to work with me and every single client to ensure they can stay and work on themselves. I also recently saw a client that relapsed back at clear again . I have been sober ever since , and that is because of leaving clear and finding a place that is welcome to all addicts and alcoholics with open arms .
