I was with Inneractions, on-off for nearly 4 years... Go somewhere else. This is not the Inneractions that saved my life. This Inneractions of today (new owner) is run like a headless zombie. Definitely not for people who seek consistent, compassionate care. Today's Inneractions almost appears to be a monopoly business, that survives, by brining in folks straight from rehab, sending them to Inneractions Sober Living, and bringing them in for groups. Like a factory wheel. If you identify as LGBTQ+ -- Inneractions can not cater to you. Inneractions does not have the necessary tools or staff. Seek other support. I went to InnerActions, straight from in treatment rehab and felt welcomed and loved from the very second I arrived. The therapist and counselors are fantastic, truly they have helped me to turn my life upside down. 9 months sober and they still reach out and care about me and my sobriety. As a well-seasoned relapser, I feel experienced enough to leave an accurate appraisal of this IOP. Having been through several rehabs and IOPs, I feel blessed to have crossed paths with Inneractions. Seriously. This is my second time here. I have been on the treatment roller coaster on and off for 3 years. I'm glad I landed here again. This time is more meaningful somehow. A little willingness goes a long way. The entire staff (case managers, therapists, group facilitators) really cares about their clients...bottom line. They have shown me unconditional love and support. Loree is wonderful and has really done her due diligence in creating a safe place for those of us afflicted with all kinds of emotional issues/traumas/ addictions. It would be easy to go on and on about how wonderful this place is, but words are just words and don't mean much for people who have been in virtual hell. You should definitely check Inneractions out for yourself no matter what your addiction or trauma is. Good luck on your journey, wherever you need to travel. There is help. We are never alone. I'm riding the bus this morning, on my way to Inneractions IOP, just like I have every week in the 6 months since I got out of rehab @ Valley Recovery Center. I am coming from my sober living house in NoHo, Chandler Lodge. But I used to come all the way from DTLA, and I don't own a car so that commute would take up to 2 hrs - each way. Which I did 3x a week, religiously. Today is a big day. Our Program Director Sam Epstein & his lovely wife Alessandra are welcoming their newborn into this world. It happens to coincide with the last day we will convene @ the 21333 Oxnard location as we are moving into new, sweet digs in Encino, rt off Ventura. Oh and it happens to be Game 7 of the World Series tonight; if you aren't familiar with what that represents it's the pinnacle, the deciding factor, it is for all the marbles. I cannot think of two better metaphors colliding to mark this significant day in the Inneractions story of existence. A new life just beginning & an event that decides the fate of it all: a baby & a ring will be crowned before the day is done. You see Inneractions is exactly that: it is for creating new, healthy, sustainable lives that can thrive. And it's also for everything, the whole deal, about going for broke, deciding your fate. I'm talking about saving yourself so you can allow the previous sentence a chance to happen, people. When I get there I will look around with a mixture of melancholy, sentimental feelings. I am so grateful to that space. How do you measure the growth of your heart and soul? If those "walls could talk" as the saying goes. If you could sponge up all the tears off those carpets, tears not only of pain but joy and laughter - of redemption realized. Whoever occupies this space next will inherit the spirits with the courage of lions and the beauty of horses, they have no idea how special the karmic energy they will reap, lucky them. Now you know why I would commute all the way from DTLA... I am in recovery at Inneractions for a few months now and can honestly say it is a special place! The director, therapists, case workers and facilitators are fine-tuned to the individual needs of their clients. Do not go here! It breaks my heart to write this because my clinical and therapeutic treatment at inneractions was excellent but the man they have hired to handle it's business operations, Arthur Mogilevski, is a crook. He also has a company Valley Recovery Center. I attended Inneractions almost exactly a year ago after inpatient rehabilitation. The understanding we had was me and my family would pay up front and they would kindly bill insurance and then repay us any money that was covered by my insurance company. A year later I am still chasing Arthur with emails about remaining money that is owed to us. Inneractions has been paid upfront by us and then by insurance, which to me seems like insurance fraud but I'm not well versed on that. At the bare minimum he is conducting unethical business and is completely unresponsive. This whole situation destroys any positive experience I had while in their care and I would not want anyone else going through this. All of us are just trying to get better and then you have places seemingly taking advantage of that. It's awful and I would highly suggest inneractions separates themselves with Arthur so as to not further risk their reputation. To take advantage and of drug addicts and their families is pretty much as low as it gets. He as well as the others who work there continue to give us this excuse that he is so busy, a lot of people are busy. That is no excuse for treating the people who keep your lights on the way that you do. And anyone from inneractions if you read this- I will continue to start alerting the boards you are accredited with and all options available to me until this gets resolved. This place is the best treatment place I've ever been too. It truly has changed my life. I feel so grateful for this place. If you need treatment, then pick this place. The counselors are spectacular and truly truly go above and beyond to help, and also truly love you and want to do whatever they can to help you. Everything they teach at this place has given me what I need and the tools to continue my life, not only sober, but happy. I would recommend this place to anyone, not just addicts. This place would help anyone that needed help or just needed a little bit more happiness and peace in their life. They stay up to date with all the therapies, offer so many different approaches so that you have the ability to find what works for you. read more

This review is long overdue, like 3 years. First I need to thank the people here who are by far the kindest, genuine and empathetic people I've ever met. It is beyond therapy. Going is the easy part, leaving is the hardest because you're faced with the reality of what you learned about yourself and patterns, cycles and raw truths. It may not be immediate. You may be stubborn and try to fight it but everything I've leaned here has been insightful and real. The only down side is they can't come home with you. You have to do the work. Regardless of the time in between, they will stick. This will always be my safe place and somewhere I often miss and go to in my mind when I want to feel safe or remember what I forgot I already learned. If you are thinking about calling another place, don't. Just go here, then thank them for saving you. I love you all, I mean it. I can only hope to make an impact on another person's life the way you do on an average day. read more

Best thing I've ever done for myself was walking through these doors! Everyone here has completed their own journey in addiction and mental health and I have never felt so accepted and supported!! This has been undeniably the Best thing I ha e ever done for myself! In addition to the comprehensive approach from case manager, therapist and group facilitators, the medical doctor is helping me find a medication that works for me, and being there has made it easier to understand this process. Loree Cohen is such an amazing therapist, she makes sure that every client is individually taken care of and each persons needs are met. There are plenty of things great about Inneractions, and I'm sure most people will find a great experience here. The counselors as a whole look to be the strongest point of inneractions, and you can really tell that they care. Despite this, inneractions has clear leadership issues due to a communication breakdown between the leadership, and the counselors. The clinical director, Loree, is very quick to judge new patients and doubles down on doing so due to a fear of wasting everyone else's time. I've seen many great patients asked to no longer attend due to her behavior, and it is always a sad sight to see. During my time at Inneractions I experienced a few individuals kicked out/asked to leave under strange circumstances that were poorly communicated to everyone involved. I ran into communication problems myself due to these issues. I was given leniency in their program, and that accommodations were to be made as I was not benefiting from groups properly. At this point, the program Director, and the business owner of the LLC questioned and even criticized my behavior when these changes had already been okay'd by the counselors who I regularly spoke to. The behavior that was criticized was myself occasionally stepping out of groups to speak to one of the counselors about changing things around for my own benefit. What I asked them was whether or not I could receive more one-on-one therapy sessions, instead of attending so many groups. After my treatment and in talking with the business owner Arthur, I notified him of various issues that I had seen while I was at inneractions. There were a few counsellors that spoke very disrespectfully to people attending groups. Whether they were making cheap shots at people who have dealt with suicide in the past, or decide to lead groups about why the people attending don't like them ( the counsellor ), shows a clear issue. With all of this said, I can tell you that Inneractions does provide a helpful environment for people that deal with alcoholism ... and ONLY alcoholism. Most of my underlying issues were completely dismissed and disrespected. There are a lot of great people here, the unfortunate problem however, is that the less than ideal individuals that work here are the higher-ups that run the program. If you attend here, you will be subject to weekly drug tests (another failing point in the communication between counselors, and the program leadership.) About one week into my treatment the drug testing frequency was increased as one of the counselors had told me that they had gotten in trouble. Only for me to be questioned by Loree about drug tests. All in all, good place with critical issues. You can really tell who cares and who does not. My personal advice is to make strong connections early so that the leadership does not start witch hunting you. The therapists here are great, take as much from the program as you can before you make a single mistake and they send Arthur after you. By the way, Arthur really only cares about money, it's a sad life. read more

I was referred to Inneractions by a man who is well known in LA For helping to find treatment facilities for people in need. My son had gone through some very difficult times. Loree was amazing. I would recommend her to anyone. We walked in met her and Sam. They were so welcoming and open. My son decided the same day based on that one conversation that Inneractions was the place for him. Three months later my son has a new lease on life. His energy/aura has changed. He is looking good. Focused on healthy eating and fitness. And talking about all of the internal work he is doing. I can't recommend this place enough. When I got to Inneractions 92 days ago, I was a completely different person than who I am today. I know that might sound crazy, but it's true. I've been through numerous treatment facilities over the years, and while all of them have helped me in some capacity, Inneractions has been the best. The staff members are very compassionate, with each therapist and group facilitator bringing a unique experience and approach to the table. Loree, my one-on-one therapist, has changed my life; she's given me tools to deal with the problems that have always overwhelmed me. Rick has been like a second father to me; he's showed me how to have more love for myself and others. Shane has facilitated my growth on a spiritual plane, giving me a more concrete notion of my higher power. He's also helped me realize the generational aspects of my disease. Shelley has shed light on the scientific aspects of chemical dependency, thus allowing me to better understand the process of obtaining both physical and emotional sobriety. Sarah has showed me the amazing benefits of meditation -- something I never thought I'd be into. I cannot stress enough how amazing of a place Inneractions is!!! My son had been going through some difficult times the past year. I cannot say how many different facilities he has been to and how many different addiction specialists he has seen. No body and no facility come close to Inneractions. As a mother you can only hope and pray that your child is being given the best care possible. From the second I walked in and met Angela, Loree, Tracy and Rick I knew that he was in the best care possible. Walking into Inneractions you feel like you are walking into a family members house. A family member that you really want to be around! The warmth and love that these people show to their patients and the families exudes with love. I cannot stress enough how amazing it is. The care I received at Inneractions was nothing short of first rate. Angela, Tracy, Paige, and, in particular, Loree, provided a service that was unparalleled in its scope and depth. I came to know all four of these woman for they made concessions to meet with me individually. They were a formidable team indeed. Each one had their own unique perspective and insight towards very complex problems. I loved them all. It was an uttermost pleasure to have Loree Cohen as my personal case worker/therapist. We had innumerable intimate conversations. Loree is truly a gifted, compassionate, thoughtful, and intellectually muscular human being. It would have been difficult without her. Today I enjoy a sober existence and it is due, in large part, to the woman of Inneractions. I have a great job, I live in a beautiful house, I have close relationships, and before Inneractions I had none of these. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone trying to better their life.
