The food is not good. Never seems fresh but always seems soaked in oil. Would not recommend for a healthy meal.

Ordering is through QR code and they did not know what order went to which table. They put food on our table and took it back to a different table TWICE. The good: the dim sum tasted legit. I'd recommend the shrimp rice roll. If service was better and their ordering system was more organized, this could be such a bomb place!

Ordering is still done with the QR code so we had one person order all the food and then we split the bill afterwards. You have to pay first before the order gets sent to the kitchen. The service has improved slightly, with us being so close to the kitchen. We were able to flag down servers to help us get an extra plate, tea cups, etc. Got a variety of dim sum classics: hargow (shrimp dumpling), siu mai, rice noodles, custard buns, chicken feet, chow fun, egg tarts, soy sauce noodles, charsiu bao, turnip cake My favorites are the siu mai, chow fun and custard buns! They also have non-traditional dim sum dishes such as soup dumplings, which actually originated from Shanghai. We got them and they were ok. We ordered a second time to get more custard buns but it seemed they ran out so it took some time for them to make them fresh. When they finally came, the buns were not smooth and it really looks like the custard was about to burst. Someone bit into theirs and the custard exploded onto their shirt. However, we all had a good laugh and still enjoyed the food. Have to have tea during dim sum so we also got our puer and chrysanthemum tea mix. Not sure if they usually charge for this, but we got it complimentary! Yay! If you are familiar with dim sum, then you know these are smaller dishes meant to be shared among the group! Everybody ate and was satisfied. Each person paid about $25 after tip! There's a designated parking lot with lots of spots. If you are looking for a dim sum spot that is not too busy, this is the place to go to!

Their wonton egg noodle soup is one of my go to dishes in Austin. The broth has more depth and umami compared to Dinh Ho, and the wontons are a bit more fatty and bouncy. It's a satisfying bowl. Their Chinese BBQ is also reliable. The space could use some upkeep. It feels like not much has been updated since the next generation took over, and the wear is more noticeable after COVID. I understand wanting to keep things the same, but some investment into the building, furniture, and overall ambiance would make a difference in how popular this place can be given it's long standing reputation for excellent authentic Chinese food. . I still come here when I want a solid wonton noodle soup and BBQ.

The establishment outside is run down but we were surprise to see the inside booths/tables were nicer than the outside. There are live tanks of seafood when you walk in. You need to wait to be seated. Service was good and food came pretty fast. We ordered the general tso chicken lunch special which comes with hot and sour soup. Lunch special is from 11am-3pm Monday-Friday. The general tso chicken is salty and was not well balance. The chicken was dry. It was lightly battered and fried. The sauce was one note. The stir fried flat noodles N12 combination was under seasoned and needed more soy sauce. The squid was not seasoned at all. The shrimp was imported shrimp and was not good. There were still poop lines in the shrimp. You didn't get any smokiness from the soy sauce at all. Do I recommend this place? This place was a staple in atx but with my Overall experience with the food quality I cannot recommend this place. We have had the roasted pork before and it was ok. Not the best we ever had but meh. Where we were seated we can hear the cooks yelling at each other in the kitchen. There are other restaurants in Austin that are way better.

We also got the Hot green tea which to my surprise was regular green tea instead of matcha which i LOVE. and it was a perfect meal for the weather at the time. our server was great and paying attention to us. We also decided to stop by today since i loved it so much and we got the Eggdrop soup, Lo mein with Beef and the duck again. This time the duck was 100 times better than yesterday and omg so good. The eggdrop soup was one of the best i've had before and was amazing. And the lo mein was so tasty. This time the service was lacking just a little bit. But that's okay. The duck was good and I did enjoy it, but for the price, it felt more like a once-in-a-while dish rather than something I'd regularly order. The beef crispy noodle had a good sauce and tasted similar to what I'm used to, which I liked. However, there was barely any beef, and the pieces were cut very small. I decided to come back again because I was craving Asian food. Unfortunately, the second visit was disappointing. The Sizzling Steak dish was not worth the price at all - there was very little beef, and it felt like they added a lot of onions to make up for it. The onions were barely cooked and lacked seasoning, which made the dish pretty sad overall. The Beef Pan-Fried Flat Noodle was just okay. It was very plain and not seasoned, but I did enjoy the noodles themselves - the thin flat noodles had a nice texture. Service was decent overall. The waiter who took my order was friendly. The lady who brought out the food did raise her voice when I asked a question about the flat noodles, which caught me off guard, but I chalked it up to an "aunty vibe" and didn't take it personally. Overall, portions and seasoning don't quite justify the prices at all.

So I walked in the location. There wasn't very many people in there. There was two employees, both of them were on the computers. They pretty much ignored me for a couple of minutes before they decided to come. And help me.I looked over the menu fairly quickly.I already knew what I wanted.I wanted the combination fried rice.I noticed that it's said that the fried rice had scallops in it had never tried it before. So decided to give it a try.I was sadly disappointed. First off, I'm gonna start with. I've had scallops in the past and the scallops that they had in there or whatever they where were extremely fishy to the point of the entire Fried Rice tasted like fish. I ate the majority of the Fried Rice. It left an oily fishy taste in my mouth. I was just so hungry. I ate it and I fell asleep. I noticed that I started getting rumble guts in the middle of the night and yeah, you can figure it out from there. I think next time I'll probably steer clear of this place. And I do come to brian college station quite a bit after I ate there. The next night, one of the guys told me that I shouldn't have eaten there. Just walking in the location didn't look very clean.Look kinda unkepped. Would I ever come back? Probably not more like, definitely not. If you want to try it, try it out. Maybe I just had a bad experience. But yeah it wasn't for me. Combo fried rice 1 outa 10 just nasty fishy taste i have never had scallops in Fried Rice. It's a shame because there are better Asian restaurants in this area on N Lamar. My wife had duck and I had Szechuan beef. Her duck was undercooked and still somewhat bloody. My Szechuan beef was obviously made from inexpensive cuts of beef and lacked the wonderful complex seasoning in better Szechuan beef. The food was served quickly and makes me believe the cook fried it up too quickly trying to get the food out quickly and not correctly. Food quantity was generous and service was OK but this restaurant is plain Jane with no ambience or anything special. The customers appeared to be an even mix of Western, Mixed, and Asian. Our waitress at her dinner out of a styrofoam container between customers. That gives one an idea of how this place functions. I don't recommend this place at all and won't return. Panda Express is slightly better than this restaurant.
