We ordered the po'boy, a slice of the artichoke focaccia, and a 16oz container of their chicken noodle soup to eat in the bakery. To take home, we picked out raspberry jam, pistachio rose, and lemon lavender cookies. Everything was absolutely delicious, and my partner even said they would choose these vegan options over other ones with meat/cheese/etc. The person who checked us out was super friendly, plated up what we were eating in and brought it to the table for us. Just like others, I want to love this place but they really have to figure out putting savory items in a different case than sweet items because your sweet items will take on the taste of the savory items if they are stored. they also have great focaccia if you get the right piece, the middle pieces are so undercooked that it's literally still dough raw dough unsafe to eat raw dough. Also there's an indoor dining area if wanting to get something to eat here. The prices aren't bad on most things. Came to get some breads and pies for a gathering. It's a bakery that only uses plant based products. There's no eggs, milk, or things like those. From what we have tasted, these things are hardly missed. Take home things, or you can enjoy some items on site. It's about $4 for a cupcake. Lots of icing. There's several flavors including chocolate and vanilla. It's about $5 to get a big piece of focaccia. The best one of these was the one made with giardiniera, which had a pretty hot spice. Best bakery around if looking for plant based. We've come in three different times. First trip was great-had a donut that was stored on top of a bakery case. Very fresh. Second trip-tried cupcakes and the frosting on top tasted stale. Our third trip was the worst- we got cookies. The rainbow sprinkle cookie was stored in the same case as savory items (pizza and focaccia), so the cookie tasted like pizza. Bad news ~ I'm spoiled forever now! While the price point for chai is similar to what you'll see at Starbucks, man, the quality here is unmatched. One sip and I felt transported to India, the spices are unbelievably good. I was like. what is happening, where am I?! I'll probably feel the need for a Chai from New Moon any time I'm within 20 miles of Batavia. I recommend the scones too - I had an apricot rosemary one. It has very nicely balanced notes of sweet apricot and rosemary, not too heavy on either. And like, really REALLY good crumb. First time coming here, my wife really likes coming here when she's in the area and had an opportunity to take me here. This place is absolutely gorgeous and I can see why she loves coming here. The food here is great and plenty of fresh made bakery items made daily. Small, cozy environment. Was pulled over in Batavia on a phone call and noticed I was next to this shop that had come up on social media a couple of times so decided to stop in. They have a nice variety of vegan pastries and baked goods to choose from which the staff member was more than happy to tell me all about. He mentioned that they also had soups and breakfast sandwiches. Although I had told myself that I wouldn't be grabbing anything as I had just finished lunch that quickly changed when my brain got hold of the sight and smell of the tray of focaccia. I preordered food for pick up for my vegan daughter on Christmas. Although not terribly crowded, the attendant filling to go orders was completely overwhelmed. So delicious -- to the seasonal corn cookies and donuts, I love it all. My faves so far are chocolate cigars. I can't wait to try the soup! I'm not vegan, but my friend had won a gift card to the bakery and invited me to use it with her. It's a small space, very clean, and modern. There are tables and chairs to enjoy your food in the shop. There were only 2 mushroom focaccia pieces left so we had to get them. It was absolutely delicious and a nice size portion, too! I loved their additional product offerings on the shelves from crochet signs to sauces and seasonings.
