He repeatedly brought details to my attention throughout the process, to both make sure it was what I wanted, and to ensure the job was done to the highest quality possible. Jorge initiated all the follow up after the pours were complete, to make sure everything was sealed properly, and that anything else that needed to be attended to, was taken care of. He came out and was so kind about the work we had tried to do. The task was daunting as everything had to be removed and he and his crew had to start over on the entire project. He was better than amazing in his ideas even adding (2) new stone flowerbeds as well as he was the only person willing to also use the stone I had already purchased. Everyone else I spoke to wanted me to re buy stone. His crew was professional, on time and his quote came in right on the money! They didn't charge me a penny over the initial quote even though it took a bit longer as there was so much detail given to the job. We could not be happier and would use him again in a heartbeat. My recommendation is don't use anyone but him if you want a professional beautiful job that you will be happy with for many years to come. Thanks Phil!!!!

Called several landscapers on yelp. Mencos was one of a few that responded same day, and the only…read morethat was able to schedule a visit the next day for an estimate. I had a ~10' conifer that I needed a price to transplant from the front to the back yard. Obv. having this done would only make sense if the cost to transplant was less than just buying a similar tree to plant in the back (then cutting down the one in front)[sorry, but as much as we like the current tree alive, it had to be an economic decision]. Short version of the story: I was quoted a very reasonable price to have the tree moved/transplanted, Mencos' crew (5 guys) was out the next day, and did a fantastic and quick job. Took them about 1.5 hours to dig out a big root cluster with dirt, strap the tree to a beam, and lug it to the back and re-plant it. Even shorter: I'd definitely hire them again for any tree work or landscaping, and plan on getting them back out to do a drip irrigation system for the front once we have it all planned and planted out.
