We have attempted to hire Ed's Brick Floor Service twice, and both times they said they could not do it, because they had bigger jobs to do. Ed actually told me that they do not do "Mickey Mouse" jobs. Unfortunately, this is there is only one other brick floor service in Santa Fe, and they do a very mediocre job. read more

We had an excellent experience with both Ed and his son. When we were selling our Santa Fe home, Ed came over right away to give us a very fair estimate for refinishing our 40 year old Saltillo tile floors (the cool, irregular ones, some even have paw prints). His son subsequently arrived right on schedule to do the job, with which we were very happy. After the job was complete, we realized 2 small spots had been missed in our tiny powder room, and Ed came over that day to fix it. Our living room had a 14x20 foot Oriental rug in it, which made it impossible to finish the floor in the whole room. He told us to let him know when it was empty and they would come back to finish. A few days before escrow closed last week, the buyers had a fit because it hadn't been taken care of yet. I called Ed late in the morning, and he promised to come over that afternoon, which he (or his son, we weren't there at the time) did. Not only did they refinish the entire room, so the new newly done part matches the previously finished border exactly, they didn't charge us a dime for it! Ed insisted that was just part of their service. We couldn't be more pleased with their work, and especially their coming to our rescue when our sales transaction was on the ropes. Our house has 38 year old with "Pojoaque Tile". The tile looked old and dirty. Ed and Mike immediately recognized the type of tile and recommended the proper course of action to restore the tile to it's original "shiny & new" appearance. Ed came to my Santa fe house and said he didn't think he could clean my brick floors because the kitchen area had previous work done with a water-based sealer. However, he said he would return in 1-2 days, and call ahead to arrange a time to test the brick floors. He never called or showed up. I was very disappointed. He sounded very negative during his visit, and acted like there was nothing he could do for me. read more

We had an extremely good experience with Ed and his son, sealing our concrete floors. They have been in business a long time, and they really know the right products to use and how to apply them. The chemicals on the market have gotten much more complex, and they seemed extremely knowledgeable about what to use and not use.
