They work very efficiently, quickly and do high quality work. The weather impacted a lot of their time but they communicated well and informed me when they'd be able to continue the project. It ended up being more expensive then originally quoted due to unforeseen damages. Price is very responsible given the labor involved. They cleaned up the area nicely before leaving and always asked before leaving items behind. They even got an electrician involved when needed to ensure the best quality. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof/roof repair. 8 year warranties and yearly checks? Can't say no to that!

From the first contact with M J Barela to the last installation of the shower doors, I was very pleased. All the subcontractors were introduced to me, my husband and our dog on the first day of the job. The subcontractors were competent, were interested in my opinions and were friendly. I love the new bathroom and especially the shower. I would recommend Dream Casa Builders for any project.

Design Solutions may do an acceptable job of renovating a structure, but it does it at the cost of…read moresafety and goodwill. It sends sub-contractors who do not have proper safety equipment, such as ladders. These subcontractors set up ladders and then 'leap' on and off a roof at the risk of their well-being. These subs also regularly steal the electricity and water of contiguous residences. When that conduct is reported to Design Solutions, they like to say their subcontractors are only "borrowing" your electricity and water without ever explaining how it will be repaid. Design Solutions also does a very poor job of supervising its subs, who throw trash and other refuse onto adjoining property. It is done with such regularity that it suggests this is an ingrained custom and habit of this company. So, if work is being done close to your residence, mount your Ring cameras so you can rebut Design Solutions' customary denials that the quality of their supervision is sub-standard.

Tim Curry of Design Solutions is the best combination of creativity, practicality, attention to…read moredetail and professionalism that I have encountered in my extensive experience with contractors and designers. (I've been involved in 9 remodeling projects in 5 towns.) At several junctures of the project - beginning with my original idea to expand a small porch and later when we were working on details such as cabinetry and lighting - he offered suggestions that achieved my goals but were more cost-effective and better aesthetically. In addition to improving the functionality of the small porch, he designed and built a cover for a large irregularly shaped portal/patio that neither felt cozy nor provided any protection from the New Mexico sun. The finished result adds about 400 sq. feet of what feels like another room to the house. He also managed various updates to the interior that fulfilled the potential of its already excellent "bones." The house's previous owners had used him for a complicated drainage/foundation project, and he came to the real estate inspection on a Saturday afternoon just so that he could answer any questions I had and facilitate the sale for his clients. His crew and sub-contractors were top-notch: skilled, respectful of the property and beyond patient with my dogs. Tim truly is a Designer/Builder in the largest sense of the words, and I really envy anyone that hires him to build a house from scratch since I'm sure that would be an even more impressive display of his vision and competence.

We had a very positive experience with the owners and entire team at Always Construction. We gave…read morethem a list of projects that needed to be completed on our home, and they helped us prioritize the most critical work: a new silicone roof, new skylights, and a new deck. Our roof had been leaking in several places, especially around the skylights. The previous repairs had been, to put it kindly, creative--duct tape had been used to patch the roof! The sunroom would leak with heavy rain, despite hiring a prior roofing company to patch it... Needless to say, replacing the roof was a significant project. Always Construction completed the work during a period of heavy rain and much faster than we anticipated. The work was thorough, and we feel an enormous sense of relief knowing we no longer have to worry about leaks. They also built us a beautiful Trex deck on our second floor, which we've been enjoying every day since it was completed. The entire team pays close attention to detail and takes pride in their work. We were quoted exactly what we ultimately paid, with only a small additional cost because they needed to address the previous poor patchwork on our sunroom, where the duct tape had contributed to significant leaking around old skylights. Thank you, Julian and Jr., and the entire Always Construction team. We truly appreciate the quality and hard work you put into our home!
