I had a ~10' conifer that I needed a price to transplant from the front to the back yard. Obv. having this done would only make sense if the cost to transplant was less than just buying a similar tree to plant in the back (then cutting down the one in front)[sorry, but as much as we like the current tree alive, it had to be an economic decision]. Short version of the story: I was quoted a very reasonable price to have the tree moved/transplanted, Mencos' crew (5 guys) was out the next day, and did a fantastic and quick job. Took them about 1.5 hours to dig out a big root cluster with dirt, strap the tree to a beam, and lug it to the back and re-plant it. Even shorter: I'd definitely hire them again for any tree work or landscaping, and plan on getting them back out to do a drip irrigation system for the front once we have it all planned and planted out.

The cleanup after trimming the tree was exceptional. Not only did they rake up everything they cut, they raked up all the other twigs and leaves in my gravel yard, swept the driveway and the street! And because they had to go into my neighbors yard, they not only cleaned the neighbors yard, but also put clippings from a tree that the neighbor had trimmed into their chipper.
