I am not sure if Heena asked Yelp to take it down, but because she burned my sisters face, and then yelled at HER for it (in front of me and my mother) I am putting it back up with the clear disclaimer up front-Yes I was a paying customer in this situation. I've been going to Heena's for years. The truth is she's okay enough at eyebrows. But she's AWFUL at customer service!! I've watched over the years as this has significantly declined! One day after years of service from our family, my sister and I went to her for routine lip wax before her wedding. Heena doesn't do the waxing bc she is busy doing eyebrows so she has one of her girls do it. (fine). But these girls are not well trained and a bit haphazard, They often dont wait long enough for the wax to cool down. THEY ACTUALLY BURNED MY SISTERS FACE! Yes, for her WEDDING, she has DARK BURN MARKS on her chin. BUT THE STORY GETS BETTER! My sister went to talk to Heena with my mother the next day. HEENAS BEHAVIOR WAS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE WAS OUTRIGHT RUDE TO MY SISTER AND ACTUALLY THREATENED HER!! (What?!!! You have to know my sister and my mother are extremely sweet people who just wanted to know what they could do to fix the wedding pictures) The girl who did the actual wax was extremely sorry and apologized profusely, but heena gave my sister a hard time, told her SHE SHOULD HAVE HAD HER SIGN A RELEASE FORM SAYING THIS COULD HAPPEN SO THEY WOULDN'T BE LIABLE (hello, LOTS of girls get their lips/chin waxed and do not end up with burns!!). she GRUDGINGLY gave my sister her money back, BUT THEN TOLD ME AND MY FAMILY TO NEVER COME BACK THERE EVER AGAIN!! I mean all she had to do was say she was sorry, give the money back if she wanted and we would have continued being her (eyebrows only) customers....The most important thing was the apology....However she THREATENED my sister and my mother?!!! What??? MY SISTER'S WEDDING PICTURES ARE RUINED AND THIS WAS HER RESPONSE!!! We've been going there for years, and up until that point we were actually friendly, and my entire family was friendly with her!! I can only imagine how she would treat people that she hasn't known for years. Wow....Heena i'll be going to your competitor that is two doors down from you....Its not that hard and there are tons of competitors at your doorstep. Regards, Nisha Update: still much happier at my new place.

Threading is standard to other places, a little pain but that's expected. It's on a busy street, so parking can be a bit difficult. I found Dockery on Yelp and thought let me give this place a try. Now we know we can take changes with brows but worst case scenario you can pencil in errors. So I decided to take our trustworthy yelpers opinions and made my way to Dockery. Amrit was the person who threaded my eyebrows and I was impressed. She was quick and very thorough. She threaded my eyebrows well and probably the quickest brow visit ever. I must have been in her chair for perhaps 5 mins or so. I also think it's because my eyes brows aren't difficult to handle. My only complain is that there was no powder or sort of lotion they usually put on your brows to either cool them off or not have them itchy as much. That was disappointing because I feel like you need either one since your brows, at least mine, itch a lot after threading. Other great parts of my visit was that they accept credit cards ($10 min) and you can put your tip on it as well. You can book your appointment online and they offer lots of time slots. They offer a various services for all of your beauty needs. This place may become my new eyebrow place.

Parking is somewhat difficult but that's to be expected in this area. However, the brow tinting was low quality. The staff member who did it put the tint all over my skin, and didn't do the full length of one of my brows. This meant my brow looked unnaturally thick but also short, since the front of my brow was not tinted. Then, when the staff member was removing the tint from my brows, she got some on my brow bone. I asked her to clean it up, but she said it would fade on its own. It did not. It peeled my skin and took off a few layers. If the tinting was done JUST over my eyebrow hair, it probably would have looked great. It faded within 4-5 days so I didn't have to deal with it for long, but I was surprised that a $30 tinting service (which included the waxing) faded so quickly. I did tell them that the service was not up to standard/the pictures on their pages. They apologized but said there was nothing they could do. Again, the waxing and staff are great! but the tinting is definitely a no from me.

We called a day ahead asking whether we need to make an appointment for henna. The lady on the phone said no, just come in. So we went in the next day, there was only one woman there. We asked her for designs from their google and Yelp photos. She said that's too complicated. She called someone, not sure what was said and then says she can only do something simple. We would've left but my niece was so excited about her first henna. We showed her a very simple design of flowers (please see the photos of my niece's hands, she could've done that herself and she's six). She then "gave us a discount" by only charging us $30 for both hands. I didn't want to make a scene because I didn't want to make my niece cry, so we paid it. Never again. Beware of this scam. Edited: While I appreciate your offer we are going to decline. And with all due respect, that design had nothing to do with a 6 year old moving. I suggest moving forward you indicate on your website that you are by appointment only, and perhaps let your coworkers know that as well so they can answer questions appropriately and not wait people's time.
