Maybe it was the snarky toned front desk lady that called to confirm that I needed to pay an additional four dollars for tomatoes cucumbers and that they had no black olives but only Kalamata... which I question "this is a pizzeria you don't have black olives???" she reports NO because I like olives in general I said OK fine. I gave an additional four dollars to the delivery man, Looked inside and did not find the small loaf of bread that I had been given when I ordered a single salad last December from the same restaurant. One day people will understand the value of YELP , we get to learn our restaurants and other businesses traits habits procedures and protocols from this little tiny app. Instead of calling and being exposed to the same snarky BS... I grinned and beared it. I thought to myself what part of lightly fried is this?. What kind of customer service is this?. The salads look bodacious as I am looking forward to that wonderful tuna Caesar , but a part of me wished that I would've gotten that little tiny bread loaf and that I would not have an up charged four dollars for tomato cucumber and olives as I was able to pay for the extra Caesar on my own in the app I ordered with slice.com. I gave the driver $4.00. Unfortunately this will be my last order with Apex . It's a NY style which is what I prefer to the Greek style at Havertown Pizza down the road. They unfortunately have not had inside seating ever since Covid so this is take out only. The price is reasonable. They have a huge menu with hoagies, cheesesteaks, salads etc. But, we only ever get the pizza which is great.
