Ordered a plain and a Sicilian pie and both came promptly. The Sicilian looked and ate better than the plain. The plain was average Neapolitan style pie, little on the greasy side but decent and edible. The Sicilian had a nice thickness, crispy solid crust and the sauce was a little sweet. The cheese was stringy and fresh. A decent average Sicilian. Could use a bit more flavor in the sauce, but I definitely didn't push any slices away. I would repeat a pizza order from here if closer options weren't better. read more

Their Buffalo chicken cheesesteak is my favorite and beats any other by miles. The counter people are always super nice.

My husband and I were craving a Stromboli, but our normal Italian take-out place was closed. We ordered from Johny's instead. We were pretty disappointed with the Stromboli, as it seemed like there was maybe a quarter cup of marinara in the entire Stromboli (which served like 4-6). The whole reason we opted for a Stromboli instead of a calzone was because we wanted a nice saucy inside. If you're going to drastically skimp on the sauce, give us some on the side! Additionally, we were bummed that they very clearly don't saute or zhush their spinach in any way before stuffing it inside. It seemed like frozen, thawed spinach was just crammed in there; it was stringy and bland. Our normal take-out place sautes their spinach in garlic, and it's delicious. Also - as a matter of personal preference - we both enjoy our sausage in balls rather than slices (like pepperoni). Take my review with a grain of salt since I only got one item, but if you're looking for a good Stromboli, I probably wouldn't recomment Johny's. read more

Horrible and the manager is rude. My company ordered 5 pies the pizza was over cookEd and burned. I called and talk to manager she said it wasn't burned. I am embarrassed to give this food to my coworkers. When complained to the manager she told me that the oven is set and that is how their pizza is instead of making it correct. She took our money with poor quality food do not purchase any pizza from this company. I thought this was the original Johnny's pizza from Sharon Hill. It is not horrible horrible food. read more

I ordered a plain, a pepperoni and a plain Sicilian pizza along with western fries and cheese fries for a family event. Everything was delicious and nice and hot. The pizza reminded me of the kind on the boardwalk at the shore. I'll definitely be Johnny's Original my go-to pizza shop. read more

Johny's has the best plain cheese pizza in the area. They don't skimp on the cheese and sauce, and the thin crust is just the right thickness. We order from them 2-3 times a month and our pizza's have always been consistent in baking and flavor! We usually pick-up and they are always ready with our pizza. They are terrible at delivery. They forgot part of our order, a cheesesteak. There was no buffalo sauce with the Buffalo salad, no marinara on the Italian sausage and peppers sandwich, no marinara sent with the mozzarella sticks, no tartar sauce with flounder sandwich. I just ate here with 25 Boy Scouts from Troop 139 in Bergenfield. Service, price and food was great! They have a 25" pizza that's unbelievable. Im a big fan of Johnnys - I understand the craziness going on right now but I ordered at 7:30pm on grubhub which is normally great and at 9:15 I called for a status update and they told me "oh our grubhub printer isn't working we aren't doing those tonight." ... So after waiting an hour and a half we find this out ... I just feel like as an establishment you need to know to turn off your grubhub status when the printer doesn't work (which is an option) Total ball drop by the place. You have to better than that. 3-5 day wait for a refund now and 4 hungry people. Just upsetting from a place I really like. read more

The slowest delivery that has existed. I've given you guys 3 shots. You're .6 miles away me, it shouldnt take a hour and a half to deliver food on a week night. Italianna's, Oscars, New London, America's Pie and even Dominoes deliver within the estimated time or faster. Your counter staff/delivery guys could give a shit. We ordered from Johny's last night for my twin Nieces Birthday. We got the 2 giant regular pizza's and was more then enough pizza for all 20 people. Had left over. So we decided to order a different type White with bacon. Well I will tell you it did not disappoint!! Was one of the best pizza I have had in delco. This is one of the greatest pizza places in Delaware County, however their delivery times are awful. They will tell you 30 minutes, and your pizza won't be there for over an hour. They show no remorse for it. read more

When I hit 8pm I called and before I could even ask my question the girl on the phone cut me off and just said " It left". Just tried them for the first time while visiting the McDade bowling alley. 1st let me say they have huge 25in pizzas for less then $16. The pizza was soooo good. Saucy but not too saucy and the cheesy. The buffalo wings was poppin. The cheese steak tasted like a philly steak and it had some weight on it. Customer service was excellent. Food is good but delivery is extremely slow and tonight I ordered at 8:30 and the order was delivered wrong and it took 1 1/2 hr to get the right food. No compensation for people waiting for the right food. Seems the quality of help there is going down. Sad to say will probably be the last time I go there. -Don't ask for basil because they won't stick it on the pizza -strombolis have been undercooked on the inside its disgusting -if you ask without parm they'll stick parm on it. -Every time we have ordered we have only gotten half of our order. We would call back, they would say they are sending someone. An hour and half later we would have to call back and they say they didn't know instead of taking it off the bill. Ok, so I don't usually give 5 stars for pizza, actually, come to think of it, I can be rather stingy with a perfect rating. I place needs to be mindblowing in food and service to get a perfect rating. Johnny's certainly met this standard. Yes, their order taker on the phone could use a little more polish, but the pizza is so damn good, it more than makes up for it. I dunno what they put in that pizza....Crack? But it's definitely addictive! With two pizza shops on every block in this area, you really need something special to stand out from the others and Johnny's certainly does. My son Ordered stromboli,ziti,fried mushrooms from doordash, He never recieved his stromboli! I called doordash where he ordered it from and the woman would not answer her phone so I called Johnny's and the man on the phone told me it wasn't his problem and hung up! I believe they serve the best Pizza in Delaware County and have not been disappointed in any sandwich, hoagie, wrap etc... I've had. My sister ordered from here on a coworker's recommendation for a special lunch for us (because we're visiting from out of state). They had quoted her a delivery time of approximately 45 minutes. It was a full hour and 45 minutes before they arrived. When they did get there, the pizza was flat, lukewarm, and greasy. It would have been more worth my time just to bring my own lunch, or to go out for lunch (though based on the quality of the pizza, probably still not here). If you're going to lollygag on delivery, at least show up with a hot pizza or an amazing crust or something. Not recommended, not worth it. read more

Love their Pizza, probably the best in Delco. The 25" is so big and loaded with toppings. I always pick up so I'm not sure how fast their delivery is. I called them to let them know since I'm a regular customer and thought they would want to know. Well, the guy argued with me that it was impossible because we are just 4 minutes away. Why would I call?? Was he calling me a liar??? I didn't want my money back or a new order, just giving feedback. Well now I'll never order from there again.
