my two kids love coming here one has been attending for just under 3 years while the other around a year now and they have learned so much from the coaches, even get to take part in competitions and interclubs. All staff are very friendly and look after both my kids in a safe and secure environment, would highly recommend bringing your kids along to see for yourself. read more

I honestly can't recommend this gym highly enough! It's only wee, but it packs a punch. As well as boxing, kickboxing, MMA and jui-jitsu classes, they also do personal training, Little Gladiators classes for kids and a bit of outdoor fitness as well. The egotistical/macho behaviour that I've seen at more than one martial arts gym before is very much not tolerated here, so it's great for women, or anyone who might feel a bit intimidated by the idea of walking into a 'fight' gym for the first time. The ladies boxing and kickboxing classes are a great place to start and, because you can take things at a pace that suits you, suitable for all fitness levels. The owners and instructors know what they're talking about, and will keep you right. Classes are usually a good laugh as well, and I appreciate the feeling that I'm getting fitter at the same time as learning what might turn out to be pretty useful new skills, rather than just running on a treadmill in a big glass box. I went along to try boxing class with a friend and got hooked! Excuse the pun Newlife gym has real community feel, with co owners Jill and Davie always making you feel welcome. Im enjoying the Pt package and achieving things I wouldn't if was training alone. I can recommend the ladies boxing and kickboxing classes but I also feel comfortable enough at mixed classes as guys all seem very nice. read more

We specialise in developing fighters and recreational trainers to become the best they can be. From our established kids pathway programme all the way up to competitive fighters. We are passionate about grassroots training and feel a huge sense of achievement around the work we have done within the local and wider communities. From the work we do in schools to the people engage with at Newlife we celebrate our students. We could boast about about many things but we are most proud of the community we have under our roof because it really is the ethos and culture that we want to celebrate and that's all thanks to the people who come on our mats. All of our coaches are PVG enhanced disclosure checked as part of our child protection policy. We have a team of qualified coaches who all practice what they preach because as students ourselves we continually strive to develop ourselves in all areas. NewLife really is the place to be and it's not because we claim to have the best MMA gym in Glasgow or Scotland. It's the people who make NewLife a huge success and it's because of them we are thriving today. Our business hit many challenges including being flooded3 times. Our clients came to the rescue walking in off the streets to save us from sinking. During Covid our gym was closed for almost two years but our clients stepped up and saved us once again. History

Established in 2009.

We started in a small town hall with now finance or business experience. It wasn't until 2014 that NewLife was fully established with it's own premises which has continued to grow and flourish with it's amazing students both past and present.
