Rude. Unable to answer basic questions. A "quick drop off" with a "five minute wait for a rental…read morecar" turned into an hour of confusion, incompetence and personal attack. I was pushed to this location by the lincolnwood location. i took my car there for an assesment on a different day. when asked about why i was dropping the car off, i said "it should all be in the assesment from the previous location. they told me that they arent affiliated and that the process would happen again because they don't share information for some reason. they then said my car was going to another shop on division because this location was too busy for the next three weeks. they i was asked to sign documents for the work at the division shop that couldn't be done at rockwell. when i questioned how division would get the info from rockwell, when rockwell couldn't get the info from lincolnwood, they called me "difficult" and told me i could go elsewere if i didn't like it. i was speaking with the person at the front desk, and when she couldn't answer questions with anything other than "that's not my responsibility" i was verbally attacked by three beefy dudes from the desks behind that maybe need to tone down their testosterone treatments. they offered no help, but instead threats. they talked over me, shouted me down and told me I was the one that needed to calm down. I was verbally attacked by three men and a woman at the same time because none of them could answer my questions, then was tone policed by one til he was tired out finally done yelling at me. All this and they arent even going to fix my car at this location. I could've dropped the car at the original location (which was far more courteous and knowledgeable) if you need to take a car to crash champions, DO NOT take it to this location. Will update when damages are fixed. UPDATE: the entire experience at the rockwell location was so poorly handled by everyone involved, i decided to not let them service my vehicle. do not go here if you can avoid it. they are rude and attack as a group when they feel irritated.

When I arrived the staff was efficient and helpful. During the repairs they kept me in the loop every step of the way. Due to weather, I was running late when picking up my car. I called to let them know I would arrive about 10 minutes before closing. Even though it was a Friday they were totally cool about it. Not only was my car fixed but it also came back cleaner than it went in.

Damage was severe enough that the car had to be towed. Fortunately, no one was injured. Fast forward roughly four weeks and I reclaimed my car today. It was exactly what I expected: impeccably repaired with a paint job--thanks to master painter and WBS owner Danny Avalos, Jr.--that matched the original finish perfectly. While four weeks seemed overly long, my insurance company's adjustor and appraiser were responsible for most of the delay. Throughout the process, shop manager Eric Villa keep me apprised. At first the rip didn't bother me, but then it got bigger and bigger. It probably didn't help that my children kept sitting right on top of the rip. Sigh... Finally i couldn't handle looking at it and reached out to my decorator to see if we could get it reupholstered or if she could help me find a new piece of furniture. She suggested getting someone to sew the rip. She said it wouldn't be perfect, but would hold me over until I was ready for the rest of the room. We had just finished a bathroom remodel and think she was well aware I was over pouring money into the house for awhile. I did request a quote on Yelp and Padi responded right away. They confirmed they could fix the rip for $225, but warned me it wouldn't be perfect. We set a time for them to come by the next week and they showed up right on the dot. I showed them the rip and they looked skeptical that they could fix it, but got right to work and 30 minutes later it wasn't perfect (as they claimed), but it was SO much better...and well worth $225! My biggest mistake was not calling them right when it started ripping because I think then it would have been even less noticeable. I"ll definitely reach out to them directly in the future for any furniture restoration needs. They were responsive, reliable and did exactly what they did they were going to do. I went to start my car and discovered the battery was dead. AAA replaced the battery, and discovered the engine would crank but would not turn over. I needed to find a repair shop or make arrangements to ship it home. I began a Google search and quickly began calling "classic auto repair shops", asking for help. The replies ranged from "We can't take you for 2 weeks" to "We don't work on cars that old". I finally dialed Old School Classics in Monee IL. Bruce listened patiently to my predicament and said he would help. I had the car towed from downtown Chicago to his shop in Monee. Bruce greeted me and began working on it right away, with help from Mike and Ray. By the end of the day Bruce had isolated the problem to the EFI control module, one of the many modifications I had made to improve performance. Bruce continued working on my car first thing next morning. He reached technical support at Holley, who helped him verify that that the ECM module was fine. They directed Bruce to a hidden relay that tested bad. After replacing the relay, the engine fired up perfectly. I was very grateful to pay this bill, be on my way and avoid a $4,000 charge to ship the car back home. My car ran perfectly for the 2,000 mi trip back to Los Angeles. Bruce, Mike, and Ray are honest "Old School" people. You can trust their expertise. They deliver excellent service quickly and efficiently.
