Sam was great. Did a wonderful job putting on new foam and leather on my 74 Corvette seats. Good communication, quick turn around, professional, and affordable. Recommend him highly.

    After - look fantastic

Service was fantastic! I can't say enough about my experience here. I had been working with my insurance carrier and their "preferred" provider for over five weeks without my car being fixed or serviced. I reach out to Sam to get his opinion on a solution and from my first interaction with him and his solution to him order the appropriate parts and fixing it. It was all completed within ONE WEEK!! The work was fantastic, he got it repaired where no one can tell it was changed. He stayed within the estimates provide and completed in the timeframe he provide. See before and after pictures. It was an unusual situation that my convertible top was not damaged but the rear window was out of the top. Sam was able to assess the problem and provide more than one option for the problem. The was very refreshing given another shop that was concerned a "preferred provider" by a major insurance company couldn't seem to get it figured out or completed in five weeks. Again, I would definitely recommend American Upholstery and sam Salerno!

Sam did an excellent job on replacing a leather section on my 15 year old convertible. It was hard to match the color, since the car was so old, but he took a lot of time to find the closest match possible.

Sam was responsive and quoted me a fair price the replace headliner of my car. Turnaround time was quick and it looks amazing.

I choose New Life because they're literally the only auto upholstery shop within miles of my house. New Life has strict hours - 8:30 to 5pm. No earlier, no later. If you work during the day like most people, it's a hassle. I came at 8:30 to have a headliner done; they didn't open till 8:45. They basically work out of a tiny garage. I asked (politely) several times to have them call me, and said several times that I'd plan my day around when they'd be done. I called at noon for an update, they said it might be done around 3 pm. I said for them to call me. I get a call at 4 pm from the irate owner, asking where I was and that he has kids and they want to close early. He then hung up on me when I stated that I asked for them to call me the moment the car would be done because I'm at work far away. I called back, he was still angry and I explained to him that if his hours say 5 pm, then he should stay open to accommodate customers until 5 pm; not just hurry them out without warning. For over $400 I got a new headliner with dirty finger prints and a car interior full of foam dust from the old material. I've been around mechanics and other car people my whole life; I'm used to them being grumpy or weird or odd. But on a big job that costs several hundred dollars, anyone should expect at least a tiny bit of customer service and civility, and a fine finished product. I received none of that. Would you like to be treated like garbage and be disappointed in something you worked hard to pay for?
