The guy (Will) came out and was so enthusiastic that he made it sound like it would be an easy job to finish since, as he said, half the work was done. He called his boss (Darin) to tell the news, and then they talked pricing. He then got off the phone trying to sell me the news that this was going to be a large savings, but when it got down to the estimate, it was only a $55 savings from the entire cost of the first company. I pointed that out and then showed him the estimate and price of his competitor, as asked. He realized then that he should have cut back on his commission because I knew I was being taken advantage of. He tried sliding the price back, but by this point, I felt zero trust or confidence in their job or integrity.

Freedom Pools, Fresno: 2023 Mar to Sep (2.10)…read more Putting in a swimming pool is a huge project. It took us several years of discussion before we finally took this BIG step. Just like purchasing a house, we went through several different emotions; anxiety, confusion, excitement, fear, nervousness, and absolutely stressed-out. After going over the beginning to the end of this six-month long project, I decided to break the work done by the pool company's in-house crew and average the points for this review. Our 31' X 10' swimming pool took 6-months to complete. The entire six months were filled with stress and anxiety, and we nearly called off the built. Our pool is now completed - in time for the cold season. The break-down of my review is as follows: Freedom Pool owner(s): Owner John (1 of 5) Freedom Pool: Son Brandon (3.5 of 5) Planner/Diggers: Dave & Donny (4 of 5) Cement/Pour crew: Israel, Jose, Jose, Abraham, Mario, Marcus, Saul, Julio (.5 of 5) Cement Cracker/Re-pour: Gustavo and Rogelio (3.5 of 5) Electrical: Joshe & Lie (.5 of 5) The delay and unacceptable work not only caused us time and money, we had to put our life off-track, and reschedule friends and families visit. Our family, friends and neighbors who have been following the flow of this project said I am generous with this review.

We had to hire someone else for this diagnosis because we have 2 children under the age of 4 who cannot enjoy a swim during this heat we have been having in the Central Valley. Their pool technician goes out every week to service the pool, how can our pool be turning green and how can they fail to communicate with us about why this may be happening? There seems to be no form of customer value or satisfaction within their company. Fast forward to today, I reached out because some guy came to service our pool (only knew because I'm home with a sick kid). The owner called me and said we'd been receiving service the whole time (news to us) and he'd like to start over. Then he made it clear he only meets clients before 3 pm through the week, and that it seemed like this wouldn't work. With all of the issues created by lack of communication on the businesses part, all we wanted was to meet face to face for a few minutes to set things up right. At that point, it was clear he didn't want our business. I'm shocked by all of this because the company gets great reviews, but they definitely aren't hurting for clients and their customer service is lackluster at best. We ended up having to do all kinds of service and troubleshooting in our own because the tech wasn't doing their job apparently anyways.
