I recently learned of New Image MD's existence and was excited to find a new provider so close to my house. While not completely straightforward to find, the office itself is lovely. I visited their Open House event hoping to get a Last Lift. I understood that all services on the day of the Open House were first come, first served and I was prepared to wait my turn. Upon arrival, I was checked in and completed all necessary paperwork. I was advised that there were two people ahead of me so my wait would be approximately 1.5 hours. Almost three hours later I still had not been seen. During that time, I watched the entire waiting room empty, including women who arrived more than an hour after me. Unfortunately, I could no longer wait as I had another appointment so I informed the receptionist that I needed to leave. Her response was "I'm sorry." While I appreciate the apology I left feeling very unwelcome. I was not asked if I needed any products (I had planned to purchase some items), I was not asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment for another time, nor was there even an invitation to return at all. Coupling my exit with the fact that existing patients were clearly prioritized over me (despite the first come, first serve policy of the Open House) I left feeling that New Image MD did not want me to become a patient. As I said, New Image MD is a lovely space. I can not provide a review of any of the aestheticians or services but I absolutely found the customer service to be lacking. read more

I went in today prepared for "spicy" pain from Soft Wave. I was pleasantly surprised that I tolerated it so well. I'm super excited to watch the results develop. This was followed by a face peel, which made my skin glow. I drive three hours for my services here as the entire staff are the best at what they do. Dr King is awesome! read more

I secretly don't want to give Dr. King's practice five stars because I want to keep it my secret, but I can't deny how awesome this group is. Not only is their office a relaxing place to be, they are accommodating and flexible when the need arises, and Kelly (front desk) is always friendly and easy to talk to. They clearly took ZERO notes on what I asked for and the info i asked to be emailed about the specific laser she briefly recommended and went over with me. I obviously wanted price quotes and info and they made some excise that she was sick so they still never emailed it a week later. They reach out to me via text about scheduling my hydra facial....ummm ive been waiting and asked for a CHEMICAL PEEL. Once again, these "women" dont give a crap about you at all. Sloppy job, disgusting poor attitudes and a complete waste of time. Location is also trashy behind a dunkin hidden. The skin lady literally seemed like she was rushing me out the door, not a friendly goodbye and was acting irritated and annoyed during our short consultation cause her phone wasnt working. I was told AFTER i got there that i cant use certain products for a week before a chemical peel there (found out thats also not even true) so i had to be put on a wait list so they would call me asap since "people cancel all the time" read more

I walked into the office at New Image feeling pretty beat down about myself. I was kindly greeted at the front desk by Nick and he quickly got me checked-in. The lobby was very clean and upscale with a plush seating area. I wasn't in the lobby very long before I was given a mini tour of the office and taken to my room. The room was very clean. Both Kara and Dr. King were super down-to-earth and they offered a very safe and comfortable environment for me to air my concerns about the changes I've noticed as I've aged. They listened and explained the anatomy and physiology behind the changes I've experienced. They then offered treatment suggestions. I very much appreciated that they never tried pushing anything on me, but they rather made suggestions and worked with me to find a solution that would work for me. I also loved that they err on the side of keeping everything natural looking and not overdone. I didn't want to look plastic. I didn't want to look like someone else. I wanted to look like I did 10 years ago. I opted for dermal fillers. This was my very first experience with having any type of procedure done to my face and I was a bit nervous about the thought of having needles near my face. Actually, 'a bit nervous' might be a huge understatement. They were great at putting me at ease and making sure I was comfortable with my decision. I was given numbing cream and I was surprised how easy the process was! I was made to feel comfortable the entire time and Dr. King offered to take as much time as needed to give me breaks between injections. She kept reminding me that it was OK to take a break if I needed it. After the injections, I was given information on what to expect in the coming days and they gave me their numbers in case I experienced any issues. I didn't have any issues, but it was nice to know they'd be there for me if I did. They checked in with me the next day to see how I was getting along. I am totally IN LOVE with the results! I look like myself, but younger and refreshed. I actually look a lot like my daughter:) It's something other people have noticed, but it's more like, "wow, you look great today"...and not, "what have you had done?" Talk about a pick-me-up. It's like a huge confidence boost. I have always had very thin lips and I opted for lip fillers. My lips might be my new favorite thing and I can't stop admiring them in the mirror. It's so much fun to use lip gloss now! Dr. King was conservative to not overdo them and I appreciate that. She said she could always add more later if I wanted instead of adding too much all at once. They look very natural. I think it's so extremely important to have a medical professional for this type of work. Hands down, no doubt about it...I know I made the right choice going to New Image MD. They are medical professionals who know what they're doing, provide amazing customer service, offer a safe environment...and gorgeous results. My only regret is that I didn't visit them earlier! read more

I had pain in my jaw and headaches from TMJ and, after researching online, read Botox can help TMJ. I found New Image on Yelp and called for an appointment. I spoke with Kelly and she was empathic about the pain from TMJ. She said Dr. King may be able to see me that day and she would call me back to let me know. She called back and asked how soon I could get there. I work from home and was not ready to leave. I told Kelly it would take me about 40 minutes but would hurry. I got there as quickly as I could. I felt bad Dr. King had to wait for me and let them know. I explained to Dr. King I had never had Botox but was hopeful it would work for my TMJ. She said it should work and explained it took 3 monthly treatments for the Botox to completely take effect. This was was not what I was expecting. I'd read quite a bit online and even doctors described the procedure as providing relief within 4-5 days after the first procedure and lasting 6-9 months. These experts were clear on one thing: find a doctor experienced with Botox for TMJ or the injections could cause your face to look asymmetrical and/or if injections are poorly placed, the treatment would not work. I had asked Kelly how experienced Dr. King was with Botox for TMJ and she said several patients came in on a regular basis for this treatment. Dr. King let me know they were having a special and I could pay ahead for my next visit in a month and get this discount. I was reluctant to do this because I wanted to see if the first treatment would bring some relief. I should have listened to my instincts because I was thinking, why are we already assuming the first treatment won't work? Then I made a decision I deeply regret. I asked her about using the special for injections for wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. We talked about other treatments but it was a short and rushed conversation. We agreed she would put injections into both sides of my jaw and around my forehead and eyes. This entire process took 5-10 minutes. Since I've never had Botox, I figured this must be normal. The first thing I noticed when I got home were scabs all over my forehead and around my eyes. The next day there was bruising around my eyes. After a few days I noticed the lines on my forehead and around my eyes softening but that my eyebrows and eyelids looked strange. The center part of my eyelids and eyebrows looked swollen giving me what I can only describe as an alien look. I waited a couple days for what I thought was swelling to go away and then I noticed my right eyelid was bigger and drooping more than my left eyelid. Also, the right side of my face had thinned out where Dr. King had injected in my jaw but the left side was full. My face and eyes were asymmetrical and my eyes looked weird. My friends agreed - my face looked off, especially my eyes. I was also still in a lot of pain from the TMJ. I wanted to give it time so I waited 6 days before I called New Image. I spoke with Leslie and she was helpful. She said Dr. King was not in the office but she would text her. It was a Saturday so I told her to wait until Monday. On Monday, Dr. King called me. She let me know the full effects of the botox took two weeks and we agreed I would come in the following Monday. When I arrived for the appointment, it was clear Dr. King was not pleased to see me. I let her know I was still in pain from the TMJ and had expected at least some relief. She was defensive and reminded me about the monthly treatments for 3 months. I asked if it would take 3 treatments for me to feel any relief. She said it depends on the person. This didn't seem right to me. I was in a lot of pain and 3 months and 3 treatments seemed like a long time and a lot of money. I was upset and disappointed but polite and respectful. Our conversation again felt rushed. Dr. King seemed frustrated and I didn't feel comfortable at that point raising the issues of my alien asymmetrical eyes and face though she should have noticed my eyes. She basically said, what do you want me to do? I said I really wanted some relief from the pain. She said she could inject more botox in my left jaw free of charge but she wasn't sure it would help. I was in pain and just wanted some relief. It was obvious Dr. King was angry and having an angry doctor stick needles in my already painful jaw was an awful experience. She barely said two words to me when she finished. I could not get out of there fast enough. Needless to say, I'm still in pain and counting the weeks until the botox wears off and my face and eyes look normal again. read more
