To be clear, I did not think my car was in terrible shape... a bit neglected perhaps, but certainly not filthy. Laurence's trained eye begged to differ! lol So I left my 10 year old (garbage free) car with guys that seemed really busy handling MANY cars waiting for their spa day and was told to come back end of day. Came back 4 1/2 hours later to a car that looked new! These super friendly guys did an AMAZING job. Don't be put off by the nonsense reviews that say it doesn't feel safe for single women because on the 2nd floor of a parking garage. If you can handle walking to your car when parked in one, you can handle leaving it with New Image Car Spa. Worth every penny. read more

Found this place through YELP and it happened to have a deal. All reviews were positive so I bought it, wanting the express detailing. I called them and they said they could take me. When I arrived, they clearly were busy but said they would have it ready in a couple of hours. Sure enough, when I called them, it was ready. They did an outstanding job. The exterior clean is far better than any machine wash (naturally). The floor mats looked almost new again, which is saying a lot seeing as I have an 11 year old vehicle. Everything inside was dusted and polished. Shampooed. The main reason I brought it in, though, was a drunken passenger had an accident the previous weekend. Vomit was everywhere between the passenger door and seat. Not an easy area to clean. I, of course, did not bring the car in like that but after cleaning up as best we could, the smell still permeated badly. The smell is gone now and the affected area looks good enough to eat off. I still wouldn't through... Would definitely go back. read more

I purchased a voucher and took my boyfriend's car in as a gift. We recently got a puppy so there's lots of hair and a bit of a wet dog smell. Considering the great reviews below, I winged it and purchased the $125 for $95 deal. I called in on Wednesday and asked if I had to make an appointment since I had a Yelp Voucher. He said I could bring it in that same day. Instead, I said I wanted to bring it in Friday morning and he said that I could bring it in at whatever time. At noon on Friday, I took the car to the location. It was easy to find. The owner (?) asked if I had called in because he likes to know when the yelpers are coming in so he knows that the vouchers are valid (apparently it takes time to be validated?). I was a bit taken aback by his confusing demeanour but I let it slide. I left my car and he told me to come back in 2 hours. 2 hours, 15 minutes later, I'm back. The car looked okay from the outside. Honestly, I felt intimidated being an only girl in a lower level parking garage filled with a couple men washing cars - so I decided to inspect it when I got home. Not that it would have made a difference - like they would have redone the car. Anyways, I get home and the car was hardly touched. Sure - the outside was powerwashed (easily could have paid $5 to do that myself at a self-wash). But the inside was extremely disappointing. Whoever wiped the car down did a half-assed job. Their $125 deal advertises, "Clean & Detail door jambs & dash." Nope. NOT done. The door handles were still dusty, the crevices of the gear stick and its surrounding were still dirty. They didn't touch inside the glove compartment - still dusty. The from box/arm rest was still dirty. But worst of all, the seats were still covered with bits of paper, crumbs and dog hair. Mind you, our car is pretty clean; we took our car in for the minor details to be touched up, things that we may not be able to do at home easily. Our dog has a short coat, meaning he sheds but not that much. The deal advertises "vacuum interior & trunk." NOPE. AGAIN, NOT DONE. You'd think that a car wash would have heavy duty vacuums to get rid of pet hair, right? Nope. The backseat was hardly touched! I had to go home and used lint rollers - which got the hair out. Point is - I'm extremely disappointed. $100 WASTED. I ended up taking the car to wash at a self wash myself. I guess what they say is true. If you want the job done right, do it yourself. Full disclosure, my car is typically disgusting. Disgusting. If a violent crime occurred in my car, I think the police would have a difficult time identifying usable DNA due to the sheer volume of dirt/grime they would have to sift through. So, after yet another weekend of good intentions not acted upon, I bit the bullet and decided to fork out the cash for someone else to manage the seemingly insurmountable job of cleaning my filthy car. Best money I have spent in a long while. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman/woman who cleaned the car so I could write them a personal thank you note. Why they deserve a 5 star review: - they did a fantastic job and my car has not been this clean since I started driving it - so clean - the gentleman who took my initial call answered all of my questions (this is a big bonus bc three other places I called in the neighbourhood didn't bother to answer and only one called back, 16 hours later) - they had my car ready to go within the 1.5 hour time frame I had requested although they were working on 4 other cars when I arrived and there appeared to be others waiting - their pricing was more than reasonable and much less than I found online for comparable service - they did not make me feel like the scum I possibly am for having such a nasty car I am not sure if they are new given that their Yelp reviews are relatively recent. If they are new, I hope they last because they have all the ingredients needed for a successful business - fantastic customer service, a great product and very competitive pricing. Their location is not as obvious because they are tucked away in the basement of a parking garage but clearly they have a following of loyal customers and referrals because the place was packed with cars they were working on. I too am a regular customer and cannot say enough about how excellent Lawrence and his team are. His repeat customers with regular to exotic Audis, BMWs, Mercedes and Range Rovers set the stage for the Ferraris which show up too. SUV or Pickup? Not a problem!
