We have been taking our minivan to Umair for the past 5 years. He always tries to accommodate our busy schedule, he gives us options for more or less expensive repairs, ie used parts etc. and when we needed receipts for the last year of repairs, he printed them out asap for us. I have really appreciated his communication and approach for the past years. He makes tire changes and storage a breeze. Absolutely TERRIBLE scammers - bought a groupon for $99 for "gold" car detailing. Had first appointment cancelled - show up for second appointment to be told my small suv (size of a sedan) with very minor salt showing on the drivers area carpet and "looks like you have a dog" (sees the leash - no dog hairs as he's non-shedding) it will be an additional $90. Haha that takes it to their regular "SUV" rate - nice way to hook people in and try to take advantage of them. I left - highly messy, disorganized, cheating kind of place. I arrived in the morning being talked out of 72$ groupon to being conned into agreeing to 120$ shampoo of my car since they claimed my car was too dirty for their regular 99$ shampoo and "detail" never mind the groupon. When I picked up my car - it was filthy - the package I had agreed to said "shampoo all soft surfaces" the owner than told me the seats are not considered a soft surface. Huh? So they were going to charge me 120$ for a spot clean, a swift swipe with windex of the dash, no vacuming, and the outside may have been hosed down, but the windows had not even been cleaned. Really? The trunk - left as is - only to be told "vacuming of the trunk is not included". Why call it a detail?? Total scam. I should have known when I showed up in the morning and the guy who was going to wash my car was totallyl stinking drunk (at 8am). Not a good sign. DO NOT GO HERE!!! BAAAAD! We've been taking our cars here for about 6 - 7 years and I highly recommend this place. The owner is exceptionally kind and goes above and beyond to figure out car issues. He could have easily been taken advantage of us many times but he's done quick fixes for little to no payment. I can't speak to the rental service or detailing side of things, but after many terrible experiences with mechanics in the city, this is by far the most reliable, honest and reasonable car shop I've experienced. We were ready to pay for the convenience fuel fee but was told they will not take our money and threw keys back on the counter to tell us to go fill up ourselves. The owner of this company is a horrible person. Do not bring your business here. I made a 4pm appointment for auto detailing. I was told the appointment would take approximately 2 hrs. I hired a babysitter to watch my daughter so I could bring the car in. When I arrived, I was told that they couldn't take my car because they were too busy, even though I had booked an appointment. The owner started yelling at me when I explained that I hired a babysitter and had an appointment booked. He said, "Too bad, come back tomorrow". I am sick and livid. Absolutely brutal service - do not deal with these people. I rented a truck from these people and call to confirm with them a month ahead of my move. The week before my move, I was told there was no truck available and that truck was never available and shouldn't have been booked. When i tried to inquire about how a truck could be booked (and "guaranteed") that they didn't have, they told me "Why don't you act like a grown man and find a truck somewhere else to rent" and then proceeded to hang up on me. I tried to call back 5 times that morning to clarify this and they hung up on me every time without saying a word. Extremely unprofessional people and i wouldn't recommend dealing with them for anything. The least they could do is explain what happened, why it happened, and then offer an alternative solution...I understand things change but would expect something better than someone acting like that on the phone. Seems very professional , I haven't got the chance to give Humair (the owner) the opportunity to work on my car yet . But from what I have experienced , it seems as these guys are efficient and also carry a temporary car to give you while your car is being repaired . The owner is a rip off artist and crook!. I first came across him on Groupon and when I called before buying the deal online the owner answered the call and told me not to buy it on line and to come in and pay him direct. When I arrived, it was a circus there with people trying to get uhaul trucks. When they finally got my vehicle inside, they did the oil change but did not change my oil filter and they did not check or do any other work that is listed in the "deal on Groupon". In not changing the oil filter they save the cost of a new filter that is about $3.50 to $5.00 and also saved about a liter of oil too. Then the owner took cash payment from me without giving a receipt. If you care for your vehicle you will NOT take it to these crooks! read more

Awful experience. Totally unprofessional. Poor customer service. I arrived 20 mins early for my appointment in rush hour traffic only to be told they made an error in the scheduling and I will have to come back another time. And this for a simple oil change. No sense of the inconvenience for me.....they could care less as a matter of fact. I had an appointment at 2pm for cleaning/shampooing/detailing my car. In the normal world, that means the work starts at 2pm or thereabouts. Umair informs me that the car will be ready around 6:30. I have just driven across town from the east end and now he's telling me I should wait around for 4 1/2 hours???? Hello!!! I make a fuss and so he says 5 pm. Not good.
