No response yet...instant meaning more than 3 days? Still waiting.... I've read many reviews that people don't get responses. Do they actually exist? How are they in business. He was super friendly and so professional. I will be booking again for my oil change and brake fluid flushed. They do so much and you don't even have to leave your home, which is so convenient. Do yourself a favor and find a mechanic through a friend that you trust (the way it's worked for decades). Don't fall for this scam, it's really ridiculous the claims that Fiix makes to get a quick buck off people... And yes, expect them to send you an email saying: "We would appreciate you removing the Yelp reviews and we can reimburse you the cancellation fee once this is done." Despicable... if you run a scammy business, fix it. The entire point of Yelp is to review your business to warn others of what you're doing. read more

Couldn't have asked for a better service. I needed my car's battery replaced ASAP and when I contacted Fiix via Facebook Messenger (they host a page you can talk to), they immediately replied with instructions on how to set up an appointment, and they even offered to perform the replacement on the same day!! They were super flexible on the time and I was able to book a 7pm appointment (note that this is probably impossible at an auto repair shop). The mechanic arrived at my house exactly by 7pm and the service was phenomenal. Not only did he replace the car battery so quickly, but he also performed other checks on the car to ensure that other things look good. And the final price we paid was even cheaper than we would have paid at an auto repair shop! The convenience of receiving the service anywhere you want at any time you want is actually the best thing ever. Looking forward to using Fiix for future car needs! read more

Truly excellent service by Fiix staff, including Arif the CEO and Jemel the service technician who came to my house. This was my first experience with Fiix, and I was of course reluctant to trust them with my car, which has always gone to the dealership for service. I had the engine and cabin air filters changed and did a brake fluid flush. The total cost was about 1/3 of what the dealer would have charged me, and they came to my house, which was much more convenient. I will definitely use Fiix again. I'm already thinking of oil changes, tire changes and other maintenance work that is on my list now. As an aside, I wrote them a few times with questions and quote requests and they were quick to respond and very helpful, all with rapid response times. Great work...I highly recommend. read more

Sorry if I'm getting the spelling or the entire name wrong, but I had Jameel come over to replace my CV axle on my '05 Altima SER. Right from the start, he was very polite and open as we got to work removing the axle, which was not only horribly rusted into place, but also awkward to navigate out of place between all the belts and metal. He kept his cool when it refused to budge, which I applaud because I wasn't able to do the same when I tried the day before. It gave us time to have a nice conversation though. With some work, we got it out and installation was a breeze. I had high expectations from all the reviews here and Jameel did not fail to deliver. From the initial conversation with Arif to the installation by Jameel, this was a great experience and it was all done a for a few hundred less than I was quoted at other traditional auto repair shops (where I also would have had to pay to get it towed there). I would not hesitate to recommend them, or to call them up again to help with the next rusty part I need to pull out of my car. read more

Had a pretty major wiring issue with my car and was getting fed up with no one being able to fix it. Decided to try fiix as my car wasn't running and thought having someone come to my house would be convenient. They assured me over the chat they have on their site, that they had a VW specialist Peter, who they were pretty confident would be able to fix my car within 3 hours. I repeatedly told them it was a complicated issue but they assured me they could fix the problem. Well Peter came, left an hour later giving me a "diagnosis" that only stated that I had a wiring problem (obviously?) that was too complicated for him. He then told me to bring it to a mechanic or a VW dealership as he could not do anything for me. Charged me 355$ which I had to get rectified cause I was over charged. In the end they still charged me 200$. Extremely unprofessional and not knowledgable in anything more than changing your oil or tires. Definitely not fun to be taken advantage of. read more

I used these people for 2 of my vehicles. The first Mechanic, George, was extremely courteous & proficient. The sendond Mechanic was named Roheem. A complete nightmare. Very sexual in nature. I also found out the the batteries they provide are only warranted for 1 year!!! Don't try & call them on the phone...they don't answer. I need another battery in my car & on 2 occasions have waited over a half a hour to chat with someone on line. I have refused the Mechanic Raheem to ever come back to my home (Scarborough) nor do I see him listed as one of their Mechanics. When this place opened it was great. It has now gone down hill. One of my friend who had issues with his car battery introduced me to Fiix and I was excited with the concept that it will be convenient to have the mechanic work in front of me in my driveway. Too keep the interest of the readers I will cut short the incident, which may benefit someone in future. Vehicle : Nissan Quest 2005 SL Problem :Alternator Fiix staff involved : Arif and Zain. Initial quote : Parts : $278 / Labor (2.2 Hours) $184, Total $489.00 (including Tax) Final bill charged on my credit card without my consent was $631.00. When I asked why it is that much, they said the dealer would have charged me more than $1000.00 so I still saved money and got "dealer quality service". Brief description: The mechanic took 5 hours to replace the alternator and van still wouldn't charged the battery. Turned out that the replacement alternator was faulty too. Mechanic left and came back next day and replaced with another alternator in 2.5 hours. The van finally got fixed. The mechanic did not have anything to cover/protect the driveway surface, Everyone was very polite but the entire deal was quite the opposite in terms of the way it was fixed, the number of hours worked, the amount that was charged. I should mention that the van stalled at a different place close the my residence and the mechanic gave me jump (2 times) and followed my van to bring it home. read more

I can't believe how easy it was, how CONVENIENT it was rather than lugging around my tires to a shop, wasting over 3 hours round trip and gas, than to just have the Fiix guys come to my house, and actually do it while I WAS SAVING TIME doing errands nearby! I needed to get my brakes changed but have always had a hard time getting an appointment from a mechanic because of my demanding work schedule. Wow, the Fiix service was outstanding. I never thought it would be so smooth and effortless to get my tires changed. I really liked that the mechanics come to you instead of you going to them. I normally spend so much time coordinating and getting myself to the repair shop, so having them come to me was a huge bonus. Also I loved how transparent Daniel was. My 2004 Land Rover Discovery was overheating in January 2018 in Mississauga, I called FIIX to diagnose and then to fix after I get the diagnosis, However they came back with every possible thing that can cause overheating, I was expecting them to narrow it down, they couldn't jump the battery to start the car. I suspect that the radiator was clogged, I asked for a price to change the rad, the labour was quoted as $400. On a warmer day in Janurary, my 19 year son, with limited auto mechanic experience, jump-start the truck with a booster pack and diagnosed the problem as a clogged rad and replace the radiator in just over an hour. I think these guys have limited experience, they might be good at oil change, tire rotation, and such small jobs, but if they cant jump start a car and diagnose an overheating problem, then im think they are lacking knowledge and tools. Take your car to a real mechanic and save your money read more

I live in Pittsburgh, PA and wanted to buy a classic 1967 Alfa Romeo that was for sale in the Toronto area but needed to get a pre-purchase inspection before coming up there. The US and larger Canadian pre-purchase inspection companies charge a FORTUNE for a classic car inspection which, by any account, should be simpler than a modern car inspection because of the lack of electronics. (These dedicated inspection companies apparently think that if you can afford a classic car, you can afford to pay more for a less detailed inspection. Shame on them!) I searched for a Toronto-local service and called the guys at Fiix. Not only was their price reasonable, but they made it out the next morning. They provided excellent overall feedback on the car and included details on the specific things I wanted them to look at. Their service was accurate and as good as any that I have paid many times more for. Nice job! I ended up purchasing the car and, although I could probably have driven it back, ended up hauling it home to Pittsburgh behind my truck. If you need an automotive pre-purchase inspection, these guys can get it done without stealing your wallet. Highly recommended! read more

A friend of mine used Fiix and he seem pleased with the service so I decided to try them out. I needed a brake repair on my Audi A4 and it was surprisingly smooth. I first phoned them to see how much it cost, but then found out I could just select brake pads and rotors replacement on their website and see how much it would cost for my car. The price they gave me for was probably cheaper than what the dealership I used to go to would quote me for a brake repair, which was awesome. Once I booked the job, they sent out a mechanic named Peter to me to do the auto repair job. Very fun and approachable guy, he answered any questions I had (Thanks peter!). All in all, it was a great service and I really like how they're attempting to change the auto repair industry. The only issue I had was that they had to reschedule my appointment to the next day because of some conflict, which was a bit inconvenient. read more
