DO NOT go here if you are a new customer! One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a business. This guy was a rude, awful person who made it clear that he wants existing clients only. This business caters exclusively to downtown elites and wealthy regulars who tip big and drive luxury vehicles. If you're not one of them, or drive a modest car, expect to be treated with open contempt and hostility before having your appointment denied. When I arrived for my first-ever detailing appointment, the owner immediately demanded cash, something I did not expect or prepare for, and then quoted a 4-5 hour wait, despite the website advertising only 2 hours. When I asked for clarification and needed a moment to check if I had the cash available and could take the extra time off work, he became dismissive, visibly irritated, and told me to leave the lot!! It all happened very quickly and I was very confused. He didn't even offer to reschedule -- he just wanted me gone, which made it very clear: if you aren't an existing customer or look like you leave big tips, then he does not want your business. FANTASTIC Fine Finish Auto Detail is minutes away from where I live. Had I known about this establishment long ago, I would've been coming here all along. I drove-in with my ride, after a few minutes of dialogue and explanation, I left my car there and when I came back I was stunned! My car looked spectacular, like it's been poured out of the factory. Would not go back. Did a mediocre job. My mats were still dirty. They also broke my suction cup for my dash cam and didn't tell me about it. It fell off afterwards and I found the broken piece. Also still found dirt on the carpet in some nooks. Not worth the price. Seemed like a nice guy but quality of work is not great. Definitely did not get what I paid for. read more

Had my car washed and the inside cleaned on Friday. These guys are courteous, quick and do a really nice job! My car looks fantastic :)

This place was great, car had not been cleaned in at least 5 years, looks brand new after leaving here.

I am so impressed! I was embarrassed to bring my station wagon in, as my chocolate lab has been shedding a lot recently and loves car trips :) They had their work cut out for them and hugely exceeded expectations! We have a super sheddy pooch who leaves your car in a dust of golden locks. Love the damn thing to death but I don't feel like dragging the Dyson out to vacuum the car so I rando found Fine Finish. We were about to sell the car that I took in and it seemed like the dogs hair was glued to the carpet, I left it for the day, went to work ... awesome if you work in the financial district and came back to a spotless car. It was spotless and he charged me a reasonable amount of money to have done the job and recently we took our other car in which not only had the dog hair all over it but was filled with dog park mud and what not .... again spotless! Highly recommend these guys! One small issue I have is that they usually want you picking up your car before 5pm, works for me because I work around there so I can stop by over a coffee break or lunch and get the keys but otherwise that could be a pain in the ass. read more

Finally i found a good car wash in downtown. Wait...'' good'' is underrated. ''Excellent'' is the right word. Just come back from the one on Front n Windsor( in a underground parking lot, level 4. I went to the church st one this morning, also in a underground parking lot, but it is closed today.) Great service, very friendly =] Five stars rating! The good - I've used these guys twice for a full detailing and the car was returned super clean. The bad - I'm pretty sure they decided to give my car a test drive the last time I went to them. Car was returned in race mode (which I only ever use at the track), dash cam power was unhooked and kms were a couple of ticks higher than where I left it. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Fine Finish is in the building at Church/Front where I park my car so it is super convenient. I've had the pleasure of using their service for a few years. Each time the service provided by Monto and his crew has been courteous, friendly, and highly efficient. And my car always comes out in sparkling new condition regardless of how filthy it was when I brought it in. I wish all the service providers I deal with were in the same league as these guys. Got my car detailed for the first time ever, so you can imagine what it looked like after 5 years of driving (sooo much salt). The guys here were great, they did an outstanding job on my car, very friendly and attentive and, like Stacey J., took me on short notice. Shady, sketchy, bait and switch! Booked an appointment and when I arrived for it, no one was there. The email response was it's no big deal but will give you 20% off. Rebooked. The mansplaining fool told me my car was dirty (yeah, who gets a clean car detailed?). Then he pointed to microscopic print on his fee board that says he can charge extra. (The reality is the car was not overly in need!). He proceeds to tell me it will be $200, not $110 less 20%. I said $200 or $200 minus 20%. He said $200 (so $240 discounted) because he thought it would take 2 hours. WHAAT? Yeah, so I left. Also, mansplainer told me that this is how business works. I replied that, having owned several businesses, I could most assuredly tell him this is NOT how good business works. STAY FAR AWAY! Great little full service auto detailing shop in the Metro parking garage. I live close by and this was a very convenient location to walk from. This was the first cleaning in three and a half years on Ontario roads, but Monto's crew only needed a few hours to get the car looking like new. The price was also great, especially with the Saturday special! read more

In preparation to sell our second vehicle, I needed to find an auto detail shop that would help make our car look like those at a car dealership - you know perfectly presented - shinny on the inside and out - with every attention to detail taken care of. I had heard horror stories of auto detailers that just didn't do what they promised and charged three or four hundred dollars, so I was a bit skeptical and unsure where to start looking and calling. I stumbled across yelp's article "The Best 10 Auto Detailing in Downtown Core, Toronto, ON" and read through the list and the reviews.. It was now getting on in the day (2pm) and I needed to have the car ready for sale by early evening. So I knew my chances of finding a auto detailer that could do a FULL Service job in only a few hours was slim to none. The first company I called was Fine Finish Auto Detail - and that was the best decision I could have made. They answered my call in a friendly and professional manner and were patient with all my questions. I mentioned I was selling the car and needed it to be PERFECT - showroom ready. Since it was just after 2pm I figured they'd say bring it in tomorrow morning... nope - "Bring it in at 3:30 and we will get several guys to work on it at once so it will be ready by 5:30." WOW impressive. From the moment I arrived at their location ; I was greeted with a friendly smile by the owner and was made to feel like a valued customer. I was introduced to the lead of the team that would be working on my car and I knew right a way that everyone there took pride in their work. They even offered to drive me home while the work was being done. Then as was promised at 5:30 they called to say the car would be ready in 20-30 mins. When I got there I was impressed with the work - it was PERFECT! Each of the guys that worked on it waited attentively as I inspected their work - wanting to make sure I was satisfied. Their work was exactly as they promised, both front and back seat were shampooed getting out the stains, the exterior was shinny and the wheels were squeaky clean. Every nook and cranny on the inside was attended to and there wasn't a spec of dust or dirt to be found anywhere. My car was 'like new' - it really was "car dealership showroom ready"! They even offered to take photos of the car (they knew I'd need them for the for sale ad) as their shop has amazing lighting perfect for photos. I would 100% recommend Fine Finish Auto Detail to everyone. They take great pride in their work and provide amazing service and best of all they are a whole lot less expensive than other full service auto detail shops! In Summary: Customer Service they get 5 out of 5; Quality of work they get 5 out of 5; Value for service provided they get 5 out of 5! Without a doubt, I'll be back again and again and again - albeit just for regular cleaning and washing of our remaining car. read more
