They have a "designer" in house which the front desk gave us an appointment to go in. Upon arrival, we sat at the desk letting the designer know what we wanted. Shower tubs styles were named wrong, unfamiliar with the product lines, it's more like she's online shopping for you while you're sitting next to her. Prices are high and there's no design service. Highly recommend this store for their lighting expertise and excellent service. I have two table…read morelamps with dimmable sockets that were built for incandescent lightbulbs; but since you can't buy those anymore, I wanted to see if it was possible to convert them for dimmable LED bulbs by simply replacing the sockets. No place I called could give me a straight answer, but one of them recommended I reach out to Modern Lighting. They actually trialled my question on a lamp they had in house, so that I didn't have to drive to them until there was reasonable certainty they could do what I needed. They quoted me a price, and I went in the next day. Not only did they get the job done, it ended up costing less than their estimate. Very grateful to Jeff and the rest of the team that, in this day where there are few specialty experts anymore, they still exist and were super nice to boot!

I placed an online order via their lbclightingpro.com website. I chose them despite being more…read moreexpensive than other online stores, because their website showed that the product was "in stock" (in fact it still shows this) and I didn't want to wait a long time to receive the items. Of the two products I ordered on 9/26, one didn't ship until 10/4 and didn't arrive until 10/10. The other product, as of 10/23, still hasn't even shipped. I wrote an email to inquire about it, and apparently the items in my order were processed "for drop ship direct from manufacturer" and the remaining item hasn't even been manufactured yet. If I'd known it was just going to be direct from manufacturer, I'd have gone to any of the dozens of other websites offering the same thing for lower cost and with free shipping. On the positive side, at least I've received part of my order so it isn't like they've just disappeared with my money, and customer service responded on the next business day so that's nice. I'm just super frustrated that I won't receive my items within the needed timeframe despite explicitly picking a more expensive store with the items "in stock".

The dance floor was **EXCEPTIONAL!** We had a custom monogram placed in the center of our white dance floor, and it truly became a centerpiece of the reception. It looked absolutely beautiful and helped set the tone for the entire venue. The drapery was beautifully installed around the venue and pillars, giving everything a clean, elegant, and polished look. The lighting was fantastic as well! The sound-activated lights worked perfectly with the music and added so much energy and ambience to the dance floor. They also looked amazing in our photos and videos. Beyond the final result, Jack was wonderful to work with. He was easy to communicate with, flexible with our needs, and coordinated seamlessly with both our wedding coordinator and the venue. Having a vendor who was reliable and easy to work with made the entire process that much better. Thank you, Jack and TTMPro, for helping make our wedding look incredible! We highly recommend TTMPro to anyone looking for dance floors, drapery, lighting, or production services for a wedding or other special event!

We had two lamps, but I didn't like it because you have to walk over to the lamps in the corner to turn them on in the darkness! An electrician installed a ceiling connection and wired it to a wall switch by the room entrance. I browsed the Lamps Plus website and went to the Pasadena location to see their products in person. So glad I did, I got a good look and selected the perfect ceiling fixture for my home. The sales personnel were very helpful and made recommendations, which made it easier to narrow my choices down to the final three. They have "fancy" chandeliers, LED lighting, wall scones, floor lamps, interior and exterior lighting options. I learned so much about the different styles such as a flush mount, a hanging swag light, and features such as a dimmer with different light tones from high to low. I chose a Mission Tiffany Pendant light (sounds like a necklace, lol). As I write this review, I am in the dining room with the light above me! All I have to do is flip the switch and the room glows.
