1 star is too many stars -- Five years of frozen regulators, water in my then brand new tank, and…read moreno accountability I've been a customer of Rymes/Superior Propane since 2018, and I can say without hesitation: do not use this company if you have any other option. Since May 2021, I have dealt with six separate frozen regulator failures at my property -- a recurring problem that multiple Rymes/Superior employees and my independent licensed plumber all attributed to the same root cause: water in the lines/tank. 5/24/21 -- Regulator failure; entire house smelled of propane. 2/04/23 -- Frozen regulator, pipes froze. Cost me $1,100 out of pocket. 2/18/23 -- Froze again two weeks later. 11/29/23 -- Froze again after a delivery. Cost me $250 out of pocket. Was told to have handyman insulate the regulator because Rymes wouldn't fix the actual problem. 12/14/24 -- Froze again. 12/06/25 -- Froze again, with the tank at just 18% and no automatic delivery triggered -- a failure of their own delivery system. This spring, they drained the propane in my tank (poof, in the air) and it was confirmed that there was water in my underground tank. They finally replaced the tank this month. To add insult to injury, in the process caused $4,498 in damage to my driveway (their insurance did cover this, to their credit). Beyond these failures, customer service has been consistently abysmal. I once spent 2 hours and 16 minutes on hold just trying to reach a live person about an active freeze up. In addition, I am currently paying $0.92 more per gallon than their competitor charges. In total: over $33,623 spent with this company, $1,600 in additional costs directly caused by their negligence, five years of stress, and property damage. If you're considering Rymes/Superior Propane, look elsewhere!

I refuse to pay it and will be filing a consumer complaint with the state, first it's $50 that I'm expected to pay then it's $100, $200 and so on for services I DON'T want.

After quickly assessing the damage, he presented me with two options: rebuild and reseal the current trap or outright replace it. Since the former was the cheaper option and had a pretty good chance of ameliorating the leak, I opted for the rebuild and reseal. Total price for the job: $140. All things considered, this business is very affordable and prompt. Their response time is ultimately what led me to elect them for my plumbing repairs. Best of all, they send updates via text to confirm your appointment date and how far out they are before arrival. I also appreciate the fact they're a NH based business. See? Not all my money has to go to Mass. Needless to say....I have them bookmarked for any future plumbing needs (Re: I'll need a bidet installed in my bathroom soon). I felt valued for such a simple request to remove a shorter toilet installed in my home that was built in 2004 for a comfort height. Their schedule was open & flexible. They DID NOT charge a fee for a site evaluation. They gave a quote over the phone. I now have an attractive, water efficient American Standard, comfort height toilet. The associates removed & hauled away the old one. Their quote was so competitive. Part of me during a stressful time in my life thought "Hey, they value me as a customer & they made it happen." I was not onsite for the work, but my husband was so impressed that he called me to share his feedback & asked that I share a 5 star review. The other nicest things were that Matt & Nick were so kind to our 2 cats & also complimented our home. That's above & beyond. On a Friday evening, we were their last stop & they didn't complain.
