We were placed in separate rooms, which defeated the purpose of a couples massage, and without any explanation. On top of that, we were each assigned opposite-gender therapists, which felt inappropriate and made both of us uncomfortable. During my massage, the therapist kept walking in and out of the room, leaving the door open several times, which made me feel exposed and uneasy. At the end, she made an inappropriate comment about me being "a very strong man" in front of my girlfriend and her husband, which was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, after my girlfriend left a tip, they told her she should leave a larger one. It was very uncomfortable and disrespectful. We stood there awkwardly while they spoke in another language and ignored us until we asked if we could leave. My girlfriend worked hard to surprise me for my birthday, and it's disappointing that this special occasion turned into such an unpleasant experience. We will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who values professionalism or respect.

At the end where I needed to pay they suddenly know English when I tipped 10$ and got mad and insisted for me to add more which the other lady said we did the 160$ massage. Very unprofessional

Well, after experiencing un-returned phone messages, finally, someone called back after over a week…read moreof not hearing from them. I asked them why it took several phone calls asking for an appt. They said, we didn't hear your name clearly. I said, "Well, you're calling now." I selected a day for my massage said I would like hot-rock massage from the options given. They told me, "The weather is TOO HOT for us to do a hot rock massage; we'll probably just give you a deep tissue massage instead." So, that was false advertising; they wouldn't follow through on my selection from their publicized options. They told me, "Oh! By the way, the address on our web site is wrong (50A Central Ave SE). The new address is 1111 Carlisle--one block north of CENTRAL"; I wrote this down word-for-word as the phone representative told me. Disgruntled about not having the 'hot rock' massage available, I decided to drive in from Los Lunas (30 minutes) anyway, drove around in circles trying to find their place "north of Central" for another 20 minutes. I even stopped in shops in the neighborhood who told me there was no 1111 Carlisle north of Central. So, I tried to call them to double-check on the location, but their phone recorder said they WOULD NOT REPLY TO MESSAGES FOR 24 HOURS!! How's that for customer service? Not having a GPS system, I did further research when I got back home. If someone had at least ANSWERED they could have corrected the phone representative--she SHOULD have said several blocks north of GIBSON not one block north of CENTRAL! Ironically, just trying to purchase a massage with them was a stressful experience! When I told Living Social my negative experience, they were gracious enough to apologize for my unnecessarily bad experience and will give me a credit. YAY, Living Social!
