I mean I don't know how much time somebody wants to spend in a nail salon like that. Especially when they asked for a shorter service to be done and at the end they gave you a different service than when you asked for and a different tech. The place is filthy. If you look over by the sink where you wash your hands I'm surprised the board of Health has not shut this place down yet. Not to mention when I checked out if my pedicure was $60 and my nails were $50 I then had to tip the guy that did the massage and she was trying to tell me, the owner's sister that I needed to give him $30 and that I also need to give the nail tech $30 but when you think about that 20% is $22 for the pedicure and nails, I ended up giving way more than necessary in today's day and age, especially when I had a crappy experience and the place was filthy. So strange that I even had to walk out unhappy, but you can't argue with these kind of people they don't care as you can see my one fingernail is all distorted in the shape and then another fingernail has a big glob bubble on the tip and there's small bubbles on all the rest of my nails. The UV machine was hardly hot. Everything looked like it was about 10 years old. The reason why they have that back area so darkness so you can't see all the filth in that place. I wouldn't recommend this place if it were the last nail salon on earth. No wonder why was so dead on a Saturday their prices are ridiculous and the place needs to be Condemned And shut down by the board of Health their sink and trashcan was so gross. Owner Lily called back and gave me an open spot at the same day. Their place was cozy and offering free refreshments, it's a plus for a nail salon. They were pretty busy and I waited for a while. This was my first-ever experience with sugaring. I had my lower legs (including knees; front and…read moreback of legs) done this morning 1/27/2025, having made my appointment online last night. Easy to book appointments online, with plenty of options for availability. For reference, I've only had waxing (eyebrows and upper lip) and threading (brows) done before, never sugaring and never anything on my legs. The studio is located in a little converted house in Clermont, directly across Grand Highway from the AtHome store. Plenty of parking spaces are available in the back. Khlaryssa was ready when I arrived, on time for my 9:30am appt. The studio was clean and comfortable. After I removed pants (and covered myself with a small towel), she dusted my legs with an organic powder and explained the process. The (also organic) sugar mixture looks almost like honey, but is less liquidy and more of a squishy spreadable solid (kind of like...silly putty?) which feels room temperature. It's NOT like waxing, which in constrast is hot and they put a clothlike strip over the wax to later pull the hair off. This sugar stuff is squished against your skin in the opposite direction of the hair growth, and then the sugar itself (no cloth) is yanked off in the same direction as the hair growth. The sugar doesn't stick to your skin as much as wax does. Individual hairs were tweezed afterward. My entire appointment lasted one hour. Was it painless? No, it hurt - they're pulling hair out of your body! And my leg hair was super long after being in pants throughout this colder Florida winter lol. BUT I would go back. I feel like it got easier to tolerate over the course of the session, and would likely get progressively easier over multiple sessions. I also can't compare how waxing would feel on my legs because I've only had it done on my face. I will say that, as a person with VERY sensitive skin, my legs weren't all red like my face is after waxing. Allegedly this is effective for a longer time, so I'll see how it goes and will likely return to this studio.

REVIEW OF PEDICURE I…read morenoticed that this place seems to be a Jack of all trades and does everything ranging from hair to pedicures. This means all the differing reviews could be for a range of things. In terms of their pedicures, I probably wouldn't go back, but I wouldn't tell people not to go here either. CONS: 1. The nail tech didn't seem to know what she was doing. I went with a Deluxe Herbal Spa Pedicure, just because I went with the most expensive thing on the menu at $45. I was hoping this would mean it was the best and it is not very often I have time away from my baby so I wanted to make it count. I'm not sure if this was new, but they seemed confused. A woman, who I'm guessing is the owner, came over to help out. When I went back to read what was supposed to be part of the pedicure I realized I never got my feet filed with a special tool, the second wrap or hot towels, or what is billed as "an amazing manipulation of the lower legs and feet." The buffing felt pretty much the same as a normal pedicure so I wish I went with the Deluxe Callus Pedicure Treatment, because that was the part I was really looking forward to. 2. I had to ask them for something to drink. The woman I think is the owner came over later and that's when she asked the other woman if she wanted something to drink, but I already had water at that time. 3. At the end, they didn't tell me they had a heat lamp where I could dry my toes more. My nail polish rubbed off on my sandals, once when I left right away and once when they fixed it and I sat with my feet under the lamp for 8 minutes. I'm not going to hold this part against them since I didn't have the correct shoes for a pedicure. I was here on vacation and decided last minute to do this. However, this isn't the type of place that seems to let people sit afterwards and let their nails dry. It's more of a done and go atmosphere. I ended up just having all the polish removed so I didn't have to deal with the hassle. 4. It said when booking that the pedicure would take an hour. Mine took fifty minutes even taking into account I spent time deciding on nail polish, because they originally gave me the choices that are only for gel. Their classic pedicure is 45 min which is why in this case ten minutes short actually felt like it meant something. PROS: Since I just wrote about my nail polish fiasco, I do want to point out that they have disposable sandals for you if you aren't wearing the right type of shoes. I just knew I had a long walk ahead of me from the parking lot to my hotel room so I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Their cheapest pedicure price is $15 and their basic pedicure is $30. I almost feel like other than the scrub and lotion with oils I got the normal pedicure, so if you go for that one, I don't think it would be bad. That's a pretty good price. They take cleanliness seriously. My tech was wearing gloves, put a plastic wrap in the foot tub, and wore a mask when she started coughing a lot. I know my CONs are way more than the PROs, but I think this is a good everyday nail place if you're looking for something cheap and fast. I would come here for the $15, but I don't think this is a luxury place so I wouldn't spend more than $30.

Then she proceeds to ask me 3 more times whether or not i was sure i didn't want layers to which i said no until the last time when i was annoyed that she kept asking that i just accepted the layers. i gave her the length that i wanted my hair cut and she cut it MUCH shorter than wanted. All i asked for was a straight cut with the front section cut to frame my face and i ended up with layers that are way to short and i absolutely hate because i felt pressured into it. i went home and cried for hours and then cut my own hair to frame my face the way it was supposed to be done. I will never go back here, it was a total waste of money. oh and they overcharged me

My entire eye was lifted along with the curled lashes. Panna, the owner, is a sweet, extremely professional and talented artist. The salon is immaculate and beautifully designed and decorated. All COVID recommendations are followed, so I feel safe. It's a treat whenever I go for my facial threadings. I drive 40 minutes to get to the salon, but would travel even further to receive her services. When needed, I'll return for another lift and tint, what I now call an "eye lift." 5-'s. I posted photos previously after a brow threading, but unfortunately, don't have the before and after of the lift and tint.
