I met the owner of Love Lash live while she was still working as a lash tech at a chain extension service place. I fell in love with her work and said I would follow her anywhere. True to my word, I drive an hour each direction once a month and I'm happy to do so because of the quality of service I consistently get. I drove down to Clermont to visit family and decided to get my nails done here. Best decision ever. They are efficient and polite. The gentleman in the front greeted me and made me feel comfortable. I'm not used to that in nail salons back home. Bao did a superb job with cleaning up the old mess and gave me beautiful acrylics with an ombré design. They said yes, I was directed to a woman with glasses. She started on the nails and when she was applying the acrylic, it was not evenly placed. It was not all the way to the cuticle or at the sides on my nail. They were also bulky, I expressed that was bulky and she advised when she used the drill, it would be fixed. She then starts on the French tip and is too thick, almost to the middle of the nail. I told her it was too thick and again showed her the reference picture. She said she wouldn't be able to do that because then it would show the line where the fake nail meets my real nail. She then had to paint my nail pink to hide the line but kept making it too thick and nothing like the reference picture. At that point, I tell her I don't like it and I would like to soak everything off. The owner comes over and tries to fix the French tip but I explain how the overall application of the nail looks terrible. I told him I will still pay but I want everything soaked off, he continues to say he can fix it and that it looks just like my picture. They refused to soak my nails and he responded " you can leave". This is by far the worst experience I've had at a nail salon and I will never return here. If they were unable to do the style of nail I requested, they could've just said so.
