French toast is made with Texas Bread. Bacon and 1 egg. Delicious!

We usually come at dinner time, but today we decided to try their breakfast!! And, Wow!! Since we walked in, we received kind greeting and we decide where we want to sit. There is no waiting! Then we received an excellent service from Rubi! The food was delicious!!! We had a full breakfast meal. The employees are bilingual and treated us with respect and kindness . Love this place! Definitely I recommend this restaurant and we will come back soon!!

Came to New Clock Restaurant for lunch with my husband. He had previously visited their establishment with his co-workers and said their food was good so I was down to try them out as well! They definitely give off that old diner type of vibe. We must have arrived at a non-peak time because there was no one there. But I'm not complaining since we were seated right away. Service was decent. Our waitress came around to get our order but was pretty much non-existent other than that. I ordered the combo #2 which came with a taco, enchilada and Chile relleno. They also brought out free chips and salsa! I didn't really expect much from them, I'll say the salsa definitely tasted like it was from a jar and the chips were cold. But I didn't mind since it was free anyways. As for the meal, I was a bit disappointed. I've never had Chile relleno before so I don't know if my expectations were off but it didn't taste too good. The whole plate kind of lacked in flavor. It could have benefited from a bit of salt. Everything was, for the most part, bland. I had to add the salsa onto my dish to get some flavor into it. I do realize that maybe they don't specialize in Mexican cuisine and I should have just ordered a breakfast item. If I do come back to give them a second try I'd just avoid the Mexican food items on their menu and go straight for the breakfast.

This place is for an older crowd. Mostly retired men and women. It's usually packed and no room in Sundays the food is not originally Mexican and it's tasteless ... Not good for a younger crowd

I recently found this place about 3 weeks ago and have come back at least once a week since. Service was excellent and the food is amazing and affordable. I got the SOS with eggs which is actually just traditional biscuits and gravy with eggs. The restaurant is clean and servers are attentive. I will be back again and again for those biscuits and gravy. The chips and salsa are also a delicious added bonus.

I'm all about home cooking and diner food so when I saw this place on Yelp it really caught my eye. Went for breakfast with some guys from work. Now I'm of the belief that you have to be good to stand out above the rest when it comes to breakfast but you have to really suck to screw it up too bad. I'm sorry cause these are some nice folks, but my western omelette was two eggs with plain Kraft American cheese laid over it! They had no fruit at all and just plain white bread for toast. I should say that this is Mexican fair even for breakfast so they did offer refried beans and that kind of thing but honestly, the food needs work. It looks to have been in El Paso for a good while and it's a cool theme (lots of clocks, none of them new) but it's tired and need some living rehab.

The reason why I'm leaving a 1 star review is for the service. The food is excellent when I stopped by with my dad to eat breakfast today. The server by the name of "Marisela" who was assigned to our table should know if you work in a customer service environment you should be able to treat others well and not ignore what they request. If you have problems at home YOU LEAVE THE PROBLEMS AT HOME and not in the work place. I understand that it gets busy and I used to work in a food serving environment as well but you're taught to make time for any request when serving. We requested some salsa, ketchup and flour tortillas, but she never brought them and never checked on us if we needed anything else. My dad requested to refill our coffee and she completely ignored him and turned the other way. If you're going to work at a restaurant you need to smile and be friendly, that way customers feel welcomed and can leave a great review.

The first time I was here, I had a large bowl of Menudo. The Menudo came with all the trimmings and was the best Menudo that I have had and I've had a lot in many different states. Today I had a small bowl of Menudo and pork chops steak and eggs. It came with hash browns, tortillas and refried beans. The tender pork chop was seasoned to perfection. I wiped my plate clean with the tortillas. I washed it all down with endless coffee and took a large iced tea to go. In budget eating is a plus+. The service was fast and friendly, we ordered our drink's first and the chips and salsa soon followed. The ambiance light hearted with cultural history on the walls and pleasant music in the background. This place has been a staple of North East El Paso for 80 years.

Combo #1

The food was so good everyone at the table cleared their plates. They staff was polite, attentive, and friendly w smiles on everyone's face. It is a lot bigger inside than it looks. Plenty of seating.

Gotta love the old diner flare. Best biscuits and gravy in town. Cracker Barrel is second rate cafeteria food.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

The food doesn't look super fancy, but everything was packed with flavor. The French toast was amazing, the iced coffee was great, and the mimosa was on point. Our waiter was awesome too. We spent around $50 for two people and ordered quite a bit, so I thought that was pretty reasonable. Definitely recommend, just make a reservation because it gets packed!

We've (L.E.Y.) been posting up at this spot almost everyday since we moved into a warehouse across…read morethe street. This place is fucking perfect!!! We absolutely love this place and feel right at home in there. In just a matter of two weeks we've tried probably half the menu and know almost everyone that works there now. They're 24hours and good for just about any Mexican/American craving. Standouts include machaca, caldo de res & pollo, desebrada anything, hash browns, plain ole coffee, the buttered bread that comes with the menudo & the must try item being PANCAKES. Their pancakes are seriously something special; I can't even really explain why, they are just perfect.

I got the Mexican plate sampler, and my husband had the daily lunch special. We were sat quickly, but did have to wait for our server (Judith) to come tend to us. Judith was great, friendly &professional. The restaurant was still pretty full from the lunch rush, so it was understandable & being in the service industry for many years I'm observant on when staff is struggling or intentionally neglecting service. When the food came, it was well presented, had good flavor, and the portion had me full too quickly. Rich, I believe was his name was all over the restaurant clearing tables, helping the two servers, restocking, you can tell he took pride in his work. The dining area was a decent size, the building is a little older, but for a local neighborhood restaurant for the price, quality of food and service, it's a good place to come.
