They served me burnt rice and they should be ashamed. The sweet and sour shrimp is just mostly bread and not cooked all the way through. It is what is but to serve burnt rice that taste charred is just ridiculous. I wish I could get my money back. Waste of food. read more

I just moved back to NY and couldn't wait to have east coast Chinese again! I was highly disappointed when I got home and opened my food to it burned and crispy as hell! I ORDER a four piece Chinese wing and fries. The lady was nasty, let my food sit there instead of saying it was ready. A lady who came in way after me, was called to the counter to get her food . When I stood up, the lady behind the counter smirked. I didnt see the reason to do that to a paying customer. You never know who someone is. That food was not worth it! Tried again a week later when I seen the lady was not in there. It still was burned and crispy as hell even though I asked for it not to be then I was told I had to pay a $1 extra just to get some bbq sauce poured over my food lol just insane! Disgusting don't waste your time or money I nearly threw up my food due to all the grease it stored. Nothing was fresh the food served was old and extremely oily. The food here isn't the problem it's the people who work there. They are rude to their LOYAL customers. My husband and I have been ordering from their hole in the wall restaurant for years giving them business and they refuse to deliver to us now because the delivery driver wouldn't meet my husband who asked nicely outside of our yard because our dog goes crazy when the delivery person knocks on the door. Now they "refuse" to deliver to people who have spent money with them at least twice a week. When asked why the woman lied and said she can't deliver "there" right now.. it wasn't until my husband got on the phone and she told him they would no longer be delivering to my apartment. I would've had nothing bad to say about this place because the food is actually good but in terms of customer service these people have NONE. And talk to people like trash and can't follow simple delivery directions. read more

It's kind of a standard neighborhood Chinese takeout place but I'm yet to be disappointed. The Cheese Wontons (or Crab Rangoon) are the best I've had. They deliver promptly. My only negative is that the young lady that is usually there in the evenings could stand to be a bit friendlier. She seems a bit angry a lot. read more

New China somehow managed to not only delivered to the wrong address, but call the wrong number. After mentioning their mistake and asking for a refund of an order that we DID NOT order, we received a nasty attitude from the lady who answered our call and was told that we would not be refunded. I'm sorry to the person or people waiting to receive their order, others beware as they may be you in the future. The best part of this entire experience is the fact that we have never placed an order with New China tonight, or ever, and now I truly believe that we never will. read more
