I cannot say enough good about Scenic Self Storage. 5 stars does not do them justice. The facility…read moreis fantastic, but it is the people that are the best part. Jeff and his staff are unbelievable! When I purchased a car and needed storage until I could pick it up. Not only were they willing to take delivery of the car, they were willing to let me send a car cover to the office and they put it on the car for me. As if that wasn't nice enough, when I came to pick up the car, the battery was dead (not unexpected). While they weren't obligated to help me in any way, the manager not only helped me jump start it with his truck, but also called a relative to come help in case we couldn't get it started. I would encourage anyone with self storage needs to give this wonderful company your business.

I strongly recommend Scenic Self Storage!…read more I made an unplanned move recently and needed a place to keep the extra stuff we all accumulate over time. I was in Waukesha and it happened to be snowing - not what I needed. Jeff and Bill were great! Jeff worked with me to get the right sized unit and even made accommodations should I need something bigger. When I came back later to load the unit, Bill had cleared the snow from in front of the locker! The unit was clean and dry and I am sure my stuff will be well protected. Storage facilities are everywhere but I really endorse the personal service provide at Scenic.

I am married to a saver, a wonderful, kind gentleman who, in fact, has moved a box containing old-ass Netflix return envelopes from one residence to another. I digress... If you're a City of Milwaukee resident, or you have a buddy with a MKE address the facility is FREE to use. We were long time Tosa residents and were used to paying something for every trip to dump crap off (I think it is $5 per trip or something). That's a big savings if you're moving like we are and need to get rid of general junk, yard waste, cardboard, old furniture, etc. You DO have to pay if you're dumping "construction waste" - stuff like wood or drywall waste. That's $20 per load and meant to discourage small contractors from filling up the dumpsters. I get it, but it would be nice if there were some provision for the homeowner with a light load. The people that work here are really nice - they happily direct you to the right place. For a dump, it's pretty clean too, even on busy days. There are enough bays that we've never had to wait - it's a painless process overall. So if you've got a bunch of crap laying around, check this place out - hopefully you'll see me getting rid of clutter!
