I went two different days and times to open my storage unit and my gate code would not work. So I…read morecalled to express my frustrations, and ask how this issue can be resolved. The manager Asia, implied I was lying, did not acknowledge my issue nor apologize for the inconvenience. Told me my code worked for her this morning and that "she would have been notified if there was an issue". So I asked her what I should do if it happens again. She had no advice moving forward. And then again implied that my issue didn't happen in the first place. I asked her if she would like to talk to my friend that was with me when it happened or I guess next time I need to take a video. There are storage units on every corner. Dont put your stuff here unless you want issues, rude staff and prices changes every 4 months. I will be moving my stuff out asap!

However I should have made the drive to Wauwatosa, that team was super helpful and kind; went so far to even help me put all the boxes for my move in my car. When I walked into the Menomonee Falls location, the two women behind the counter didn't even acknowledge I came in. I said good morning and they acted like they didn't hear me. So I asked where were the grand wardrobe boxes, one of them pointed and said over there. I got my two additional boxes and got out of there. If you have the option of this location or going to Wauwatosa, I would make the drive for service over mediocrity any day.

The people in the office are just hanging out on their phone. The two big doors to get into the place are either out of order because they are dented or the keypads don't work properly (you press a "1", and it inputs 4 of them. Been renting a 10'X20' storage unit for over a year and been on a waiting list for a 20'X40' unit…read morefor nine+ months. I finally get an email yesterday at 9:40AM saying the 20X40 unit is available, but since I work construction I obviously did not get a chance to confirm till 3:43PM when I was done working (still almost an hour before they close for the day). Today, I get an email saying it was no longer available. I ask the manager tom kellogg why they would not give a person some time to answer an email as not everyone sits in front of a computer all day? He was not verbally rude but clearly could not care less. Someone who cared might of said something like "I understand your situation and if it helps will give you a little more time to answer the email or I can give you a call when another 20X40 unit becomes available". Instead, I was just one of the cash machines that pays each month, doesn't matter who I am just as long as I pay. I guess they have enough customers they can afford to treat them like garbage. They demand a one year rental lease on the 20X40 unit so it would have been a $6,660.00 cost for me. Not that it matters to tom, but I'd have been a many year renter because this place is close to my house and my business. I canceled my 10X20 unit today because what's the point of staying, I'll never get a larger unit from tom kellogg because I can't sit in front of a computer for the next 9+ months waiting for an email I must respond to in seconds or lose my place in line.
