I tried on many shoes and finally found a great pair. Sadly, i was hoping for pumps, but was advised there were not that many in stock, as the store was gearing up for a season change. So 1 1/2 stars on supply, as I work in an office, I really needed pumps and i'm sure I am not the only person in PA that has problem feet and works in an office. I didn't understand how a specialty store could have limited pumps in their inventory. Hitting the internet for my pumps. Sadly, I didn't know they were on Yelp, I could have saved $10 for checking in... Thank you Mallory for your help....

The ONE time I got my shoes fitted in Chicago, I loved my shoes so much, I ran 5k, 10k, half-marathons, and was the happiest slow runner ever. I've moved to the Allentown area and it's time for my super old shoes to be updated. Enter in Tyler at Emmaus Run Inn. He got me fitted right away and taught me what to look for. He brought out two options just from inspecting my old ones and they're both perfect! I had a hard time picking from the two. I ended up on the older version that was on sale but I almost considered getting both. Thanks Tyler and Emmaus Run Inn! They also have a group run on Tuesdays at 6 PM.

As any fellow Big Foot knows, finding stylish, attractive shoes in the 11 to 12 size range is nearly impossible. I don't even know what girls with size 13+ do. Cut off some toes??? Prior to living in Allentown, I did a lot of online shopping and Nordstrom Rack-ing of shoes. It was expensive and sad. There's something about the shoe shopping community. You try on a shoe, prance around a little bit, hop and skip in heels as if you're preparing for an NBA game, and make that agonizing decision whether to buy or not. I have been pretty much cut out of that experience because the majority of shoe stores only sell up to a 9 or 10. This DSW, unlike other locations, really sells a lot of 11's and quite a number of 12. The clearance rack in the back always has something cute in a 12. I appreciate the inclusiveness. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because I want them to try even harder to get more 11's and 12's. I also wish their boot game was upped a little bit.

Her name was Delaney and she was super nice, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I wanted a shirt but they didn't have it in my size at the store, so she looked online and said they had it in stock online. I still wasn't sure which size I would take, so she helped me find shirts that would be comparable sizing and material so that I could try those on and get the best guess I possibly could before ordering. There was another sales associate there with her who was also super nice and helpful. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name. Very friendly, dark hair - pulled back, young. We talked about washing instructions for linen shirts ;-) Anyways, I bought 2 shirts, then Delaney also placed my online order through their computer system and had the shirt delivered straight to me, with free shipping. As I was paying, I saw the other associate wrapping my shirts all nice in tissue paper :-) Normally when I shop at stores in general, I kind of just go in, get what I need on my own, and leave, and that's that. Sometimes sales people can be pushy, and it's not really my thing. But shopping here was the exact opposite - a very pleasant experience. I have probably only been in a J Crew store about 3 times in my life, but now I'll make it a regular stop when my husband goes to the Apple store!
