We split up a pizza with pepperoni and it was devoured quickly. Nice bar with plenty of seating. Parking is spacious particularly at the lower end. They have a driving range and 2- practice putting greens. Greens were moderately fast today. Allentown Muni is a busy course. Fun to play. Challenging. Enjoy!

Plenty of hazards and bunkers to keep things interesting. Not flat, but not hilly either.... good for a walk but in the summer best we took a cart. Nice course, wonderful staff, and I'd love to play there again!!

In a past rambling, I addressed the asi asi situation of the driving range here and after another…read moreround at the 9 hole course I feel I need to address this one as well. So, what do you have? Seven par 4s of which three are shorter than 300 yards and two par 3s. Aside from #4 and #8, all the remaining holes run immediately back and forth next to each other which means people and carts all over the place. OK, what's so off here to make it two stars? Easy. While the fairways are in a little better shape than I've seen them in recent memory (greener with fewer brown/dead spots and not cut so stupidly short to the ground), the greens are simply bad. Hard as hell which equals approach shots being impossible as everything will keep on rolling as if you're hitting it on asphalt. Also, lots of choppy-bumpy uneven spots spots which make putting oh so fun and some interesting pin placements like on #6 where the pin is all the way in the front of the green which is tiered and heavily sloped. I.E., if you're trying to putt from 85% of the green, your ball is rolling back on to the fringe/rough as the slant and speed are abnormal. There's fair and then there is stupid. I get why from a business standpoint they added carts a few years ago but, are they really needed? It's a nine hole course that is about 2,500 yards. It worked well as walk only for decades. Pace of play here is not existent. The majority of the day time weekday clientele is 65-70+ and they do not give a damn how long they take per hole and they sure as hell are not letting you play through. That equals nine holes taking two and a half hours. Insane. Your greens fee covers eighteen holes but who the hell wants to spend five hours playing the same holes twice? $22 is a ripoff. Yeah, I get it. In the modern post pandemic world, golf course pricing is insane. But at the same time, why play here when you can pay $22 and play at Sawmill with much better conditions and with eighteen real holes? Again, I get it. Technically, there are no other courses within the city proper limits of Bethlehem except this place and the 18 hole course across the street. It's a very large captive audience and it serves them well because each place is always busy and packed. To me, if you're going because it's close and just easier, I get that. But sure as hell don't play here because you think it's nice because, honestly, it's not.

I quickly became tired of the elliptical, tired of the treadmill, and the only thing I knew for sure was that if my workouts continued to feel like chores, I'd never stick with them. I tried the Fight Club class after checking out classes at a few other gyms, and I was instantly hooked. It was first time I realized I could have a good time working out. It took me a while to try out some of the other classes, but now, SuperGirl is my favorite. It's always something different, but consistently keeps me working hard. But the really surprising thing was, it didn't take me long to feel comfortable there. Heather, the owner of the gym who also happens to be the main instructor for many classes, is equally a motivator, an entertainer, and a hardcore fitness instructor. I start out each class feeling scared for the intensity i know is about to be inflicted upon my body, and psyched, in the same was anybody is before they are about to do something they know is going to be completely fun and rewarding. Any class with Heather usually includes a stand-up routine at no extra charge. And not surprisingly, smiling and laughing a lot while you're sweating like crazy, definitely takes the pressure off. Actually, all the instructors are pretty cool, care about your success, and will give you a great workout. I've met a lot of people at this gym, and the pervasive attitude is one of support, non-judgement, and willingness to help each other out. The whole environment is pretty cool, and rare. There's something for everybody, whether your idea of fitness involves flipping tires, interval training, running, dancing, pole, or kicking and punching. And the price is definitely right.

If you have a busy schedule be careful when you reschedule appointments they are not at all flexible. i missed a few classes and they charge $12 if you schedule and then don't make it. Overall it's very unfriendly from a customer service standpoint. The kind of management that writes a tough binding agreement and the quotes it at you.

So 5 classes later, Elite Membership (8x/month), I have my own OTBeat Burn and I'm LOVING seeing my progress on the screen. She needs a stroller so I have brought her many times with it.... I don't have difficulty on the walking paths or in the parking lot... it's very easy for me which is so nice. It means I can bring both dogs with me alone at times (today was a super bonus because my husband walked our other pup). As far as wheelchair accessibility, I need to check it out more carefully next time. Having spent only a small amount of time in a wheelchair a few decades ago - I can relate to how difficult it can be to get around. I am pretty sure it's very easily accessible. I will check everything when I go back... The restrooms are pretty clean most of the time. It's nice that they are there!! There are many benches throughout the park. It's hard not to be "in the moment" and "mindful" while at this park. There's so much beauty. Today we saw many ducks swimming. And the sunlight against the bright blue sky...... Didn't want to leave!!
