I appreciate how honest the gentleman who helped me was. He actually recommended I try some guns out at Relic Firing Line before committing to buying anything at this shop. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I got the right thing for my needs. The prices were not the best compared to what I saw elsewhere online but the location and service were good so paying some extra was worth it to me at the time. I will definitely return. Based on the reviews it seems other people had poor experiences here, which is unfortunate. I had a good experience with all staff there. They accepted my credit card, despite what another review said.

This is a post about the Jr department sales clerk, GAIL, who took it upon herself to negate my price adjustment/return today with her poor attitude and condescending words. A few weeks ago, I purchased several jr clothing items off the clearance rack for $1.99 and noticed the price marked IN RED on the ticket did not reflect on my receipt. 5 pairs of Wallflower overalls all rang up $1.99 except one pair and so, I stopped by the EASTON store to address it with the clerk, GAIL. I explained what happened and the first words out of her mouth were "these are Wallflowers and they never get reduced" followed by "there's no way to give you a price adjustment without seeing ALL the other wallflower overalls", followed by "why do you want to see a manager, she's going to tell you the same thing", followed by "there's nothing we can do" followed by "we don't ink the price in RED" blah, blah, blah. In the meantime, the department manager watched her and let her treat a GOOD customer in this manner and wouldn't share HER name because she didn't say anything wrong!! Who allows this clerk to treat customers this way? The asst mgr arrived and made the price adjustment but not w/o squaring it with the dept mgr first. Unacceptable, GAIL. You need a refreshment course in customer service and interactional training to better address a complaint with a customer.

I recently purchased skis and bindings from Buckman's and was disappointed with the overall…read moreexperience. When I called ahead, the employee I spoke with couldn't answer my questions without repeatedly asking a colleague. They charge about $45 to mount the bindings (discounted from $115), even though both the skis and bindings were purchased there. In my experience, most shops mount bindings for free when both items are bought from them. The skis also had to be sent out (understandable) but then I would be paying for a service and unable to ski for about a week or so. I went to Blue Mountain and found their services to be cheaper and faster. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable--unlike my experience at Buckman's. I'll be going there from now on.
