I like Sarco - quite a bit. My one complaint is getting items to ship quickly (once they are out…read morethe door its fast). Maybe I am too used to Amazon and getting spoiled. Having said that - Sarco is a gold mine for hard to find stuff - lots of inventory and really good pricing - I don't think they are trying to rip me off with a "we know what we have here" attitude. I see myself doing business with them for many years. I bought some reproduction german rifle magazines that did not fit well at all....dremel work and they fit fine - look to be a great purchase. I dont think it was the quality of the product, they are just fine. I think it was matching a quirky 1945 rifle with a new product. I had a ton of fun doing the modifications anyway! Deal with confidence and keep buying from them - they are trustworthy and the entire process was great!!!

I've been to other places where everyone that works their is rude and unprofessional. The Guardian Training center in Warminster is just like that. And that owner gets online and calls people dumbass and insults patrons left and right. Most unprofessional thing ever. It must be a tough business to be in given the liability and amount of untrained shooters that go there. You should have a pleasant experience here.

Not for serious shooters: fudd range through and through. 3+ RSO's crowding shooters in their tiny…read morepistol range, watching like a hawk to make sure that nobody shoots more than one round per minute (heaven forbid!), and giving poor advice to new shooters. Apparently they have a normal range but you have to call ahead to reserve it and pay a $50 fee to sit through a lecture about not shooting yourself on the draw. Good lord. Not that it even matters, I guess, as the clientele coming in from New Jersey for their once yearly trip to the range have no clue; they don't know what to expect from a good range and they don't care. Also the lady at the desk checking shooters in is barely sentient, I don't think I've ever met a duller person in my life. It's actually a little alarming being greeted by that at a gun range where you expect employees to be switched on. I don't know if all this reflects worse on the range or on their average customer... probably both. Bottom line: if you are a semi-competent shooter and/or a normal person then drive a little further and go to relic hunter. I won't be coming back any time soon which is a shame because I live 5 minutes away. I'll gladly drive an hour out of the way just to avoid it.

We email the owner and he gets back to us 4 hours later saying that all of his employees are out sick. He will email us back when they are back in. He never emailed us back. Only having a few days there in the Poconos we call back the next day and the young lady says that they do buy back guns depending on the guns but she is only there for a half an hour more and that no one was there to relieve her so we can't bring it in that day and we would have to wait until the next day to see Rich. This is the same woman that made the appointment for 1-1:30 the next day. This is a poorly run establishment that makes appointments with you and doesn't keep them, make sure to call the morning of and the 5 minutes before leaving to make sure they are there. The work ethic on these people is outrageous and I'm shocked that they are still in business, there are other great places around that actually keep there appointments.

When we originally purchased the guns we were told we would have to return to transfer the ownership. I was told this again when I called to check over the phone--he said to bring the guns and our ID. Then when we came today there were two completely different people working there and they gave us entirely different information. The whole thing was embarrassing because we were just doing what the other employee told us to do. He was not there, so we just looked dumb. So we didn't have to go there.... I guess? Now I am not entirely sure what to believe. And if I'm getting conflicting information from employees how can I trust what other information I get from them?

At this point I have been to several other stores so feel more comfortable reviewing this one. All of the staff here were friendly and welcoming to me as a beginner on a budget. Was happy to see some diversity in the staff; definitely made me more comfortable as a young Asian woman. For the record I have felt welcome in every gun store I've been in thus far. I appreciate how honest the gentleman who helped me was. He actually recommended I try some guns out at Relic Firing Line before committing to buying anything at this shop. He seemed genuinely interested in making sure I got the right thing for my needs. The prices were not the best compared to what I saw elsewhere online but the location and service were good so paying some extra was worth it to me at the time. I will definitely return. Based on the reviews it seems other people had poor experiences here, which is unfortunate. I had a good experience with all staff there. They accepted my credit card, despite what another review said.
