I mainly shopped at the store in Stroudsburg out of the 4 locations that I knew of. Stroudsburg, Stroud Mall, Tannersville, and last Brodheadsville. I was trying to sell a ring that I purchased from the Stroudsburg location. I was eventually told to try the Brodheadsville location. I took the ring there. I didn't check with them for a while, waiting for a call. However, one day I drove up to the store and store was empty. I tried to call and the phone rang of the hook. I went back Tannersville, Stroudsburg as well, they all closed down. I was shock! No forwarding address or phone number. I was surprisingly disappointed. I use to take pictures in Sammy's upstairs gallery, with all the vintage ships, art work, Greek sculptures, etc... I'm sure Sammy wasn't aware of the transaction that accrued. I feel very ripped off!

To make matters worse, the store has no dedicated parking for their customers. After dealing with the traffic, pedestrians, and lack of parking, I finally found a parking space about 5 blocks away. However, the sales associate to whom I spoke about having my Rolex being serviced talked to me like I only owned one watch and wasn't familiar with the brand or how to maintain my timepiece. Before she started speaking to me like I was a pauper who just so happened upon a Rolex, and didn't know a thing about it, she should asked me if I was familiar with the brand and the service requirements. If she had, I would have replied, yes, I'm intimately familiar, and we could have avoided her talking to me like I was a neophyte. I was an avid collector of Rolex watches for years. It probably isn't readily apparent by my appearance, but at a high- end retail store, this shouldn't matter. I abhor the snooty demeanor of some employees who work in stores that sell bespoke or luxury goods. Needless to say, my visit to Hamilton Jewelers was frustrating and disheartening. My suggestion, they should follow the lead of the Rolex Store in Beverly Hills.

Upon the first wearing of the repaired pieces, the necklace fell off, the bracelet fell off, and the ring had a spur. I would not recommend. I am lucky that I noticed the bracelet fall off, as well as the family heirloom necklace. So disappointed. And the prices were steep(but gold prices are high so I kind of expected that. I.e., the bracelet repaired was 60 bucks ..... down the drain in this case)​
