Nestled back in the corner is a hard to see (unless you are really looking for it) entrance for Cool Beans. After parking in a lot across the street, I entered a somewhat densely packed dining room with a large mural on the back wall, a foosball table in a corner, bulk popcorn and candy on the far wall, and an order counter for coffee and ice cream. I was quickly greeted by a woman who came over from the tanning salon who filled my order. Turns out she works all three places in the building! No wonder it was confusing. I will say the coffee was tasty and that the woman was friendly and patient while I made my order. All good there! And though I understand that this business is filling a need with some desired products, I couldn't help but feel even this single business was a little too much. Too many tables made it feel cramped. Maybe if they got rid of the foosball, they could spread out a bit. The top of the cake has a thin layer of almost crispy granulated sugar - more sweetness! The bowl is piled high with fresh, lush, red strawberries. Some sweet, most firm and a little juicy. A good sized dollop of vanilla soft serve and whipped creme lay on top. The combination is delicious! It easily feeds more than one dessert lover for about $9.50. Every time I would go up to ask a question, the little girl responded with HUH? After the 5th time of Huhs, I jokingly said are you deaf? We had put in an order for 2 blizzards and a shake to go. But when I said are you deaf when i got to my table I heard the manager loudly say Well that's rude. I said your employee said HUH like 5 times. Not Im sorry could you repeat that. Then the other girl who was sweeping the dining area looked at me and said HUH real loud and said " "O Is that rude". I said I wanted my to go order cancelled. The Manager and young lady went in the back and never came back out. Then sweeper girl ignored me when I asked her if it was refunded. I did get an email saying the ice cream order was cancelled and refunded.
