Didn't really need anything from this place, just tagged along with my dad as he needed some parts. It's a self-serve salvage yard. This is one of his favorite places to get used parts for cheap. He comes here about once or twice a month. My dad just usually brings a set of hand tools - screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and sockets. He only gets small to medium size parts. We saw others brought in their whole tool box and others removing a whole engine lol. Entry is $1 per person, check in via the touch screen monitor at the gates. The yard appeared organized by car brand/model. Prices seemed reasonable, bumpers $15, fenders $20, set of wheels $250.

This is my first used car purchase and my first experience with CarMax, and it went well. I…read moreresearched vehicles online and put in all the specifications that I was in search of, and found a 2025 Nissan Sentra in Palmdale, CA, shipped it for $99 and waited for it to arrive. The online shopping experience was straightforward, and the communication and text updates were smooth and non-burdensome. I did the financing online to get an idea of where we would be and also sought out financing through America First Credit Union to make sure I had the best interest rate (in the economy, you have to save where you can). We test-drove the car with Bryan M., and he was great to work with. The CarMax experience is definitely different because there aren't any deals or haggled pricing, so you will want to do your research and know what the car you are interested in costs as a new vehicle and as a used vehicle at a dealership, so you can cross-reference prices. We test drove another vehicle just to make sure we were confident in our choice. Bryan ran a finance credit check for us, and after comparing the rates, we ended up using America First Credit Union. After researching and comparing the extended warranty protection packages, the CarMax service protection plan is really comprehensive and covers a lot so it was a tough decision. It is very well reviewed. We did end up going with the plan AFCU offered because it was comparable and extended to 120K miles. We brought our check in the next day, and we were in and out within an hour of our scheduled appointment. Bryan didn't pressure us to buy anything additional, and I appreciated his customer service and professionalism. When we ran into a snag with the computer system, the management stepped in and problem-solved right away, and it didn't hold us up in any way. The car was washed and ready to go! Small hiccup with vehicle and it needs a maintenance within 24 hours but I am not worried because they were prompt in response and even though it was Bryan's day off he responded with directions. Still overall a positive review and hopeful experience.

Bought a used Nissian last Saturday. The radio face doesn't work, the bakes are sticky and…read more"grinding". Making me believe they only replaced the brake pads. Never bothering to check if the rotors needed attention. I realize I'm a woman therefore I clearly know nothing about a vehicle. I'm also the daughter of a mechanic. I had to know how to change my oil, breaks, a tire, etc all before I was even allowed as a teenager to get my license. Now my driver's side read axel/shock is leaking hydraulic fluid. I'm sorry? WHAT?!?!? Who passed this vehical during its inspection? What happened to their 125 point inspection? I'm convinced that means - "We eyeballed it, it looked fine." Before even leaving the dealership, I mentioned more than once about the radio. I realize in the grand scheme of things a radio face working and showing the stations, the clock, the Bluetooth etc is pretty irrelevant. However when you spend that kind of money on a used vehicle that is supposedly been checked over? You expect basic things to work. Haven't even had the car 6 days. I haven't even driven it 400 miles Now I have to get it to their service dept that is only opened Mon - Fri. No idea if a loaner/rental will be provided. "Possibly" is what I was told this afternoon. You know the stereotypical thoughts about used car dealerships? Can't imagine why people feel the way that they do. I haven't had a reliable vehicle in over 20 years. I've been buying beaters from private parties because that's all I could afford. Finally foud myself in a much better situation. Saved up for the down payment, and this is how it plays out. Beyond disappointed. Completely disgusted. I completely feel like they lie about everything to sell the vehicles. Which as a used car dealership I should have known better. I wouldn't purchase a vehicle from them again if it was the last dealership in Las Vegas. This has been a horrible experience. Yes, they offer a 10 day money back guarantee regardless of the reason. When you're on a very tight budget and have no other vehicle; it's kind of hard to to return it and start over. Not to mention the fact that I used my old vehicle as a trade-in. So yes, I would get the trade-in value and my down payment back. However that leaves me with absolutely no vehicle. You know what I was told when I explained that to the person who answered the phone today? "Well, we do offer one way Lyft rides. Oh goody! So you can drop me off at my house and I'll just be stranded there. Since you will have both vehicles now. My trade in and the POS you sold me. I have the same 30 day repair warranty as any other customer. Why on Earth would anyone going to buy a vehicle that was "inspected" think that they would have to have repairs made in the first 30 days? Yes, stuff happens. That being said? A 125 point inspection should have caught these things. Thinking I'll just get a horse and buggy from this point on. Instead of gas? I'll buy feed.

I immediately flew that same day to Michigan to handle this unexpected and untimely event. I thought i had another car company buying the car. I send all the required paperwork. I waited two days for them to come and get the car and after the test drive they decided that they wouldn't buy it. Now I'm all freaked out. I have a vehicle registerd in a state I no longer live in and nowhere to go and I need to get back to work on the East Coast. A friend offered to let me keep the car at hos place while I try and figure things out. As I am driving the vehicle to my friend's house ...thank you Jesus...I get a call from Bryan from Give Me the Vin who gives me an offer and explains the process. I immediately take pictures and send over the documents as this is Friday late afternoon. I am informed that it will all be reviewed the following Monday and should receive a FedEx overnight with the paperwork to sign. As promised Tuesday I receive the paperwork and send it back out with the docs signed. WEd afternnon I get a text confirming everthing has been received. a couple hours later transportation company calls to pick up the vechicle. The following day another text all is complete and given the go ahead and cash the check. I made this process stressful but Give Me The Vin did not. Answered phone calls, texts and emails promptly. Communicated the entire process and held my hand to the end. Now this was a lower offer then what i originally received, but in the end Give Me The Vin stood by their word which means a lot. I couldn't more strongly encourage the use of this company to sell your vehicle. Thank you all at Give Me The Vin!!

I decided to shop around a bit and got offers from CarMax, Carvana, and a few others as well, but GMTV was quite a bit higher than any of the other offers I received. I brought it here to Roy, who inspected it, had me sign some paperwork and handed me my check! Easy as could be! I would definitely recommend selling your car to Give Me The Vin.

Hey Yelp friends! So my first experiences with the…read moredealership were questionable. I'm not sure yet. We brought the beastie in for a tire replace and then after that the wheel locks went missing, so we had to purchase new ones. Then, the warning light came on before winter break and it was the computer sensor for the DEF tank. It took weeks for them to get it diagnosed, parts ordered and then installed. They had our truck for too long. Plus, we were paying out of pocket, it wasn't just a few hundred dollars. It was so stressful. We are teachers. We work at two different schools and carpooling everyday was exhausting and stressful to say the least. So when we got the truck back it seemed to be functioning. When the DEF needed filling my hubby took care of it, but then we noticed the gauge isn't showing that it was filled. So great, we knew we needed to take it back in, to my disappointment. So, we went in to the service department. My hubby explained everything and suggested they start the work right before spring break so they can have the beastie for a week and we won't be stressed. The manager spoke to the team and we have an appointment to drop it off. I'm relieved so far. Still concerned about the DEF gauge, but optimistic. They guys were welcoming when I pulled into the service area and friendly and helpful when I was pulling out. The manager made time right away to invite my hubby into his office right away to discuss what we needed and got us set up with a plan right away. So far so good. I will keep you posted. Thank you Auto Nation for the great customer service yesterday and we look forward to a successful experience when we come back in March for the servicing of the DEF gauge.

My advisor Sean addressed my concerns and gave me good expectations on what to expect. Throughout the process he had amazing communicate with myself and the lead tech to get the issues resolved. I was initially worried that the interior may be dirty from getting people in and out of it, but was happy to find my vehicle in the exact condition I left it in. Happy that no excess miles were put on her other than about 20 which seems reasonable for test drives, pulling in and out of service dept, etc. Super grateful for the amazing service that I've had from Kazorie in sales, to bringing it in on my first service. Thanks so much guys!!!

Doc fees are ridiculous and I have never paid doc fees in my last 3 purchases since I bought my first vehicle. But here, they refuse to remove them. They want to charge you an enormous amount for "options" that they previously added. They want to charge you for an interior/exterior coating that you can get later for a quarter of the price they ask for. The salesman was very friendly but the manager acted like he was doing us a favor by offering all the upgrades. Now mind you, we were only buying a used car for $5499 as advertised but the price at the dealership was $13k+. EXPLAIN THAT. We ended up NOT being fleeced and just a little more effort, ended up buying elsewhere where they were all about customer service and actually trying to sell you a car. After our visit, they did text me to remind me that if I had any questions to let them know because they were there to help. I have never seen so many fees added to a vehicle. I can only imagine if I was there to buy a new vehicle. I guess it is true that they don't want you to own your vehicle anymore. They want to sink you in debt. My advice, shop for a car when you're not in a hurry and visit as many dealers that you can. Acquire a written quote at each location and ask for any unnecessary fees or up charges you didn't request to be removed. Someone will appreciate the consumer and actually fairly sell you one.
