We have to say that in all the different businesses we have to deal with, these folks certainly rise to the top! It doesn't matter what the issue is, not that we've had many, they don't hesitate to fix it. They have gone well above and far beyond what our expectations are. We placed an order one time, we somehow got confused and called to figure out the confusion. Not only was it explained but we realized we were the "confusion", again, they explained it so thoroughly and calmly, and the order was completed so expeditiously we were humbled. Service: Five Stars!!! Very courteous and professional. Quickly responded to all my inquiries via email. Turnaround was very quick...about 8 hrs. I wasn't able to pick it up when it was ready and they were nice enough to let me pick it up the next day even though they aren't technically open saturdays. Lucky for me they happened to have a big shipment to take care of! Printing: I have mixed stars to dole out on this one. Judging based on print quality alone, Five stars! It looked nearly identical to the screenshot/converted to PDF file I sent them! I didn't have high hopes but I was very very pleased with the results. However...I had asked for the size to be 16by20, and I received 20 by 22. Even without the borders around the pic itself it was 18 by 20. In this case, bigger was not better..It made finding a frame to fit it nearly impossible. I would have had to get a custom frame job done...which I had neither time nor money for. I ended up having to cut a couple inches off the picture itself to fit it into my frame. Luckily it still looked fine and I was able to submit it to an art exhibition in time, so no harm no foul...but the sizing issue did cause a lot of unforseen stress on my part. Would I use them again? More than likely, but if correct sizing was Important to me I would discuss sizing with them before hand and hopefully work out any sizing issues beforehand. read more

Nevada Art Printers does not need nor want your business. That is the impression I have gotten over several weeks of attempting to work with this company. I requested a sample pack of paper via email and never heard back for 4 days. I called and was told that it would be shipped that day. Two weeks later, nothing. I called and left a voicemail asking about the paper samples. I never received a call back, only a shipping confirmation later that day. They forgot to send out the paper samples... It would have been nice to have received a call from them apologizing for them not sending out the sample pack, but that's just me. (They rarely seem to answer their phone and NEVER return phone calls or emails... a little free advice for the lab, hire a receptionist to handle these basic communication tasks) After receiving the sample pack of paper, (The papers ARE very nice and why I gave 2 stars instead of 1) I ordered a proof image. When you place an order, they don't take payment at that time, instead they say they will call you for payment after they receive and go over the file. It is now 5 days later and I haven't received any call from them and I did receive confirmation from 'WeTransfer' that the file was properly uploaded and sent to the lab. I called and left a voicemail in the morning and they have yet to get back with me. Their social media is full of pictures of them delivering extremely large metal and acrylic prints, so my only assumption is that an artist who is trying to order a few thousand dollars of paper prints isn't worth their time. Their website is out of date, the order form is not user friendly, they don't respond to voicemails or to emails. I guess they are too busy with their handful of whale clients to try to establish new business with other artists. There are other comments regarding their lackluster customer service that are a few years old, and it looks like they haven't changed anything or taken negative feedback to heart. If you're an artist that's trying to order general prints, this lab is not friendly to you. Take your business elsewhere to a company that will value your time and money by actually answering the phone, responding to emails and fulfilling order requests. This is a review regarding my negative experience at Nevada Art Printers in Las Vegas mid-May 2021. I ordered an acrylic print for a file I uploaded to the company's website. No one followed up and called me to discuss the order. Instead of creating an acrylic print the company produced a photo paper print. When I personally picked up the order in-store I had a long conversation with the representative about what had gone wrong. We additionally discussed the future of this order because it concerned an image I intend to sell commercially, in volume, over the internet. The representative indicated to me they would again produce the image, this time according to my wishes, and that I would receive credit for the funds already paid. A few days later I received a new invoice for an amount that seemed not to have taken into account payment for the earlier order. I called Nevada Art Printers and asked for the representative and was told my call could not be transferred, and could she help me instead? I addressed the mistaken earlier production and I was basically told by this barracuda/gatekeeper that whatever happened was my own fault. When I asked to speak to the owner I was given more attitude and that's when I hung up. I immediately followed with an email to the owner's email address and never heard back from him. So, bottom line for me: if you, as a business, believe that your customer service needs to be run by someone who basically takes a lawyer's attitude to clients, I'll take my money elsewhere. I had a terrible experience with these guys. They messed up my order -- printed everything incorrectly (DID NOT follow instructions), wasted my time, money and gave me a huge headache in terms of getting things resolved. Resulting in my having to file a complaint with my credit card company. What happened is as follows: I called Nevada and ordered several specific paper sizes for various prints. These were to go inside of frames at those same sizes (which I explained on the phone). The prints were for an art show at The Joseph Watson Gallery. Of course, I was quite specific in asking them if they had those paper sizes in advance as that's what I had frames set for (if they had said no, I would have used another shop - obviously). They proceeded to print each size considerably larger than had been agreed which I only discovered after the gallery owner collected the prints and tried to place them inside of our frames. They DID NOT FIT! Nevada claimed that this was the "Industry Standard". Meaning, every printer prints paper larger than the size you asked for. RIGHT (Doctor Evil voice) The "Industry Standard" is what you agree with your customer, not what you arbitrarily decide after the fact. Furthermore, go on Amazon right now and order some Epson Metallic Museum Grade 17 x 22 paper or 16 x 20 or 13 x 19...guess what sizes they come in at??? Any takers? Very good class. They come in at those exact sizes. That's the bloody "Industry Standard". The time to tell me that they would print everything an inch or two larger than what I ordered was...when I was in the process of politely inquiring as to whether they had these paper sizes in stock. After numerous headaches, the owner stepped in. Not the make things better mind you but to express with extreme belligerence, rudeness and condescension, his position -- that the fault was with me. And for the record, I had no experience with the owner (meaning he was not involved) until AFTER his team screwed up my art. Did he call me to talk about the issue and come to a amicable solution? NO. And I did offer a solution where they would have recouped their cost but not made a profit off of messing my order up. REJECTED! The owner was most definitely not interested in making things right with the customer although there has been an attempt at a flame war on Yelp which seemed to require me to elongate and further explain my experience. On to the their actual business practices: they claimed to have discounted me but no such discount was mentioned in my discussions with them. Then I saw some inflated price on their invoice with a discount applied. Odd behavior. Why would a company inflate the price and then discount it to the standard price quoted on the phone? In addition to all of this, they forged my signature on the credit card receipt. Even IF I had given them permission to charge me, NO ONE has the right to sign someone else's name on a legal document. NO ONE! Regarding the paper / print quality -- putting everything else aside - I did not find that it matched anywhere near the standards that I receive from REALCOLOR (http://www.realcolordesign.com/) in Los Angeles who handles most of my work. One of the issues is that the paper buckled from the ink. Meaning that it was either not dry or some other issue with the printing process. This created "waves" on the art. Do a test print with both companies and see what you think. Pricing is also considerably lower with RealColor even taking shipping into consideration. (I do not get commission or have any association with RealColor other than as a customer) Not recommended. I just received my very first Acrylic Print order, not only from Nevada Art Printers, but my first EVER acrylic print. Both literally and figuratively, my breath was taken away. I am sooo over the moon with happiness, I cannot find the adjectives. Congrats to all of the Nevada Art Printer folks. Now, pardon me while I go and get a cup of tea and then just plain sit with my very first acrylic print...just the two of us...and while I get my breathing back to normal. Just couldn't be happier - can you tell?! Their workmanship (above paragraph) speaks for itself. But I forgot to mention their professionalism too. Working with Daniel and Arlene (multiple phone calls with both), the experience was top notch all the way. They are super patient and courteous - something you'd expect in the world of business anyway, but is becoming less and less common these days. Back to the topic of acrylic prints, I have researched this topic to the point of exhaustion. That stated, I believe NAP only has one real competitor in the world - no exaggeration. But that company is in Europe. Like Nevada Art Printers, it's a good company. I know because I've been to their retail store in New York City. However, their prices are easily double those of Nevada Art Printers. And then there's the shipping costs from Europe (cough). The short version, take advantage of my deep dive into researching (seemingly) every photo lab which does masterful work with acrylic prints. Go with Nevada Art Printers. I sincerely believe they're the best. It's a slam-dunk. I have found my acrylic print photo lab. And oh, one more thing because I cannot resist commenting. I have read with curiosity just about all the other reviews and to be sure, the vast majority are excellent. However, there are some folks who I think have issues with life in general. In particular, there is one woman who in my best guess, had been off her medications for quite some time before she sat down to write her "multiple reviews." Robert and his team are phenomenal! I brought in a group of photos and other images that a client wanted restored. Some were a particularly tall order as they had a lot of damage; some were images that weren't on photo paper at all, so I didn't know if they could even be done. But they all came out beautifully! Even the ones that we had expected to be without hope. Special shout out to Kay who did a lot of the Photoshop work on it. Chelsea also was very attentive and communicative through the whole process. I was so impressed and inspired, I am already back to get my own personal family photos restored and enlarged. First off, let me say that I make my living selling my art- I do colored pencil sketches of wildlife and it's VERY tricky to get scanned correctly. I have spent $$ of lousy scan jobs. First of all, there is a grey cast to the paper, naturally, then, since I draw at art shows, there are usually smudges and discoloration on the paper- THEN to make it really tricky, there is a lot of subtle depth and small details in the actual drawings- too often a printer will lighten the background and totally destroy the image quality. I trust exactly 2 art printers in the US and Nevada Art printers is one of them. I have taken some really complicated pieces here, (one of two elephants, had been scanned 3 times by supposedly "top notch" art places and was utterly unusable) and never been disappointed. Nevada Art printers has done a terrific job for me on multiple occasions. I would not hesitate to recommend them, particularly if your art is more than a hobby and needs to be perfect, as in, professional quality. They are also nice and have a quick turn around. Great printer. These guys are the real deal if you want professional printing. They are not a Costco type place where the focus is on volume. You can send your files in adobeRGB (unlike others who want sRGB files). You can download their printers IC profiles for soft proofing your files for print preparation. I did a lumachrome print of a wide field Milky Way shot. It looks superb and especially almost holographic. Its deff a big conversation piece when we have company at our house. Yesterday I sent them a new file which is a portrait and I'm hoping to have great results as I did with my landscape shot. read more

My first and last experience bringing art to this place. I wanna start by saying I'm very understanding with anything regarding customer service workers because I'm 26 and only worked retail myself. I have no issue with how long my process took. However, I have never experienced a more unprofessional business in my life. I've never started the process to get prints made of my paintings so I was very excited to go here. Their first step is to make digital proofs of the art at $30 a piece. Awesome. I brought 4 pieces and was told it would be ready in a week. A week passed and I heard nothing. I waited an extra couple days cuz it was no big deal. So then I reached out to them after those two days. They told me my proofs would be ready after another three days. No problem! Three days later I get no call and I notice it's about to be their closing time so I reach out yet again. To which I was basically berated with a heavy attitude and told that they are very busy and have art worth $50,000 that they are working on and proceeded to tell me the entire process of their business and what they do. I was completely pleasant during this altercation even though I was being totally disrespected and undermined. I expressed that my ONLY issue was not the time frame but that they have not communicated with me ONCE. Even after telling me twice that my order was going to be ready. I was not wrong for reaching out when I was told twice my work would be ready. I shouldn't have had to reach out at all as the customer. Also how completely rude and condescending to insinuate my business isn't important because my art isn't worth as much as some of their other clients? I'm a paying customer. If you don't want my money because my art isn't worth enough to you then tell me in the first place and I won't come to your business at all. I was honestly disgusted by that comment. My pieces only sell for a few hundred but I'm just regular person and that's a lot to me. It doesn't matter if I brought a stick figure drawing worth 50cents. I'm a customer paying you for a service and unlike other businesses, you're keeping my property (my art) in your possession during this process. Meaning you should be in close contact with your clients. Because you have their art in your care. So a couple days later I get a call my proofs are ready and I can come in. I had to wait till I got paid so I came a couple days after that, before I left I called (their policy) and was told the proofs are ready but none of my other paper work so I could come and look but not buy... WHAT?? After all this??? Seriously?! Luckily they agreed to get my invoice together so I paid that day. That day I was told after paying $100 for the digital files they would be emailed to me and you guessed it- I HAD TO CALL THE NEXT DAY BECAUSE NO ONE EMAILED THEM TO ME. SERIOUSLY?! I would have been FINE with my process taking weeks had they communicated and provided even decent customer service. Not to mention both times I came in both people who worked with me were short and rude and gave the vibe I wasting their time. Again I never have issues with any businesses and I'm so lenient because I've only worked customer service my whole life but this was AWFUL. I've never made a negative review of a business online in my life before this. The proofs were great and initially my plan was to bring more art when I picked up my proofs but I will absolutely never go through them again. If you're not going to value your customers because you deem their art not worthy enough because it's not worth $50,000 then specify that as a company so average joe artists don't come to you and aren't made to feel like dirt. read more

I brought in a pen and ink drawing for scanning as I need to pull the image into Photoshop and my scanner is too small for the paper size. The girl who wrote up my order said they would actually take a photo of it (not scan it) for the best resolution possible. After leaving my artwork overnight, and no email or phone call to tell me it was ready) I was displeased to be charged $45 to receive a 335mb jpg file at 72dpi - smaller than the actual artwork and at a miserable resolution. I could have done four times better just taking a picture with my iPhone. Upon calling NAP back they said the hi-res file would cost me $120. At no point did they make this clear when I brought my artwork in. I'll go back to taking my work to a reprographics service, where they scan my work and within 2 minutes give me a 300dpi tif for $8. read more

I came to them with a very small project, and they proved to me that there is no project too small for them to handle. Had small heart shaped lockets that needed a picture, I came in with a photo on a USB and it wasn't long before I got my print of several heart shaped photos(not so easy cutting them and fitting them into a locket :p). This is a tough review to write for me. I have heard such amazing things about their Lumachrome HD acrylic prints. And upon receiving my print, I can say I too was impressed by the stunning quality of this print. My concern and overall dissatisfaction is with the way it was packaged. They use a thin sticky film (kind of like saran wrap but more durable) over the acrylic. Unfortunately it looked like they ran out a bit more than 3/4" of the way toward the bottom of my print and taped the plastic film down using regular packing tape. Directly on to the acrylic. Now it is up to me to carefully remove the tape and tape residue on an item which cost me over $500. And in doing so hope that it doesn't damage the acrylic. Had this been sent to a client, I would have been appalled. When I contacted them about the issue there was an inherent lack of concern, though their responses were overall professional. They took very little ownership of the issue with my print, but promised to discuss the matter in a meeting the following day to ensure it doesn't happen again. This however does nothing to remedy my situation, my concern, and my inconvenience. read more

I purchased an acrylic lumachrome print from Nevada Art Printers. I have used several professional printers and this one is the best. The print was shipped in a well-protected wooden framed box and arrived without damage. The print itself was covered with a piece of plastic similar to a heavy, sticky saran wrap. I was concerned about how I would remove this if part of it tore when I removed it, but carefully pealing it back worked, without leaving residue. The image quality was excellent, as was the overall quality of the frame, acrylic covering sheet, etc. They followed my instructions, and answered question I had on recommended soft-proofing settings. Every professional printer I have used says the most common reason that a customer's print doesn't match the image on their monitor is failure to properly calibrate your monitor and/or use of poor lighting (wrong color or background) when viewing the print. To get a good match between your monitor and the print, understand color management and soft proofing. They make available an ICC profile for you to soft proof your image, which I recommend doing. You will be rewarded. For critical work, get a test proof too. I recommend NAP and would use them again. read more

I needed some copies of some original watercolor art, and was quite doubtful I'd find anyone to do them justice. (I didn't believe anyone could come close to making the copy look as good as the original.) Was I ever astonished!! They were marvelous...even better than the originals...the colors were so refreshed and perfect, I was amazed! On top of their excellent work is their professionalism doing business: very accommodating, especially since I live so far from Vegas...which helps immensely. If you want it done right, use them.
