I've been trying to find more local coffee shops in the area, and I picked a good one today!…read more Upon walking in, the little patio area is super lovely. Games and plenty of seating for all visitors. Not to mention, bonus points for the cat I got to pet on the way in, I love a good coffee shop kitty haha. Inside, the decor was even better. Featuring a nice seating area, plenty of plants, and even a little drawing board to add yourself in. I love when shops have community art like this, not to mention, tasteful memes. Very good for a quiet coffee shop trip, either by yourself or with family. Service was super friendly. They were out of a few things, I thought about trying, but the cashier made it better by giving out recommendations on other stuff. Not a whole lot of parking, but other than that I would defnitley be back. Pictured is some of the lovely decor, However, I did not get a picture of my coffee or bagel before I destroyed it, haha.

Confession time--I'm a fake coffee drinker! Decaf, tea, a little matcha here and there (I like my…read morecaffeine subtle to zero). But when my sister suggested trying a new to her coffee shop, I was totally up for the adventure. This place is tucked inside a historic house, and the inside makeover gives it a cool, modern twist. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends or work with your laptop. The staff? Super friendly and welcoming! I ordered a Butter Beer latte which included carmel, toffee & vanilla (decaf, naturally) with a milk substitute and treated myself to a blueberry muffin. The verdict: coffee was tasty, but that muffin? Absolute perfection: light, cake like, and not too sweet. We demolished it so quickly, we nearly made a U-turn to get another! This place sings comfy, homey vibes, and I can't wait to come back. If you haven't visited yet, go check them out!

I don't know how I have not been to Crow & Clover before, but finally made my way in over 4th of…read moreJuly weekend and it's a delightful spot! Same owner as 1823 Bakehouse in Franklin, so you know the coffee and matcha is going to be good. I had a matcha latte with honey and lavender and it was perfectly balanced. Not too sweet and the matcha was the star. While I got mine to go, this would be a great place to meet someone for breakfast or lunch as they also serve some bakery items like açaí bowls, juices and sandwiches. The decor is fun, with literary vibes and there are some cool artwork on the walls too, including a mural. Loved chatting with the owner and the barista working the front counter who advised me on what flavor matcha to get. I will definitely go back to try some other things!

Dang it! I love the juices here but a 35 minute wait on a 16 ounce just isn't going to be where I…read morespend my money. I gave a different review back when the company had a different name (Roots to Rise) - same ownership - and I hadn't been impressed with their coffee or açaí bowls. With the new branding, I figured I'd visit again & stick to juices. They quickly became my post-yoga stop on weekends. I would have went before work on weekdays but they aren't open early enough for that. Today after I ordered I was warned there were a few orders ahead of me. That knowledge before ordering would have been more helpful. Normally a 5 minute wait or so, I was guessing a 15 minute wait would be reasonable. I went outside listened to 3 songs, back in, still no drink, went back out- 2 more songs, back in, still nothing. Ordered at 11:15, drink was done at 11:51. I think good business would have been upping my size for free, or a coupon, or even a thanks for your patience. A simple, "Thanks," while kind enough, caught me off guard. Any gesture to recognize that wait was unreasonably long would have sufficed. The juice was still delicious, I can't lie. I don't know if it's staffing (2 employees on Sat. morning- no Now Hiring sign tho) or what, but if you are in any kind of time crunch, I'd probably avoid the wait. If you are on vacation time- by all means- go enjoy their offerings. I realize it's what comes with a small business, but also something to recognize an unusually long wait would also be a small business quality. I'm disheartened by this. Greenwood is very slack on fresh juice options, although I saw an Ever-Well going in on 31.

SUSHI... but make it TACOS?! ‍ --…read moreClaypot Coffee House absolutely did their BIG ONE with these sushi tacos. We couldn't pick just one, so naturally... we ordered almost the whole lineup -- We tried the Fresh Tuna, Spicy Tuna Avocado, California Dream, Tempura Crunch, Spicy Salmon -- TWICE because once simply wasn't enough -- and every single one brought something different to the table. Fresh, flavorful, crispy, creamy, spicy... the textures alone?! 10/10. -- The sushi tasted incredibly fresh, the crunchy taco shells gave every bite the perfect contrast, and nothing felt overly heavy. The Spicy Salmon was clearly a favorite, but honestly, there wasn't a bad choice in the bunch. -- And THEN came the drinks. The lemonade was refreshing and exactly what you needed between bites, while the ube latte was smooth, creamy, subtly sweet, and basically the icing on the cake for the entire meal. -- Now, one thing to know before you go: these are not fast-food tacos. They do take some time to come out, so I would NOT recommend showing up extremely hungry and expecting to eat immediately. Come ready to sit, sip your drink, talk, and enjoy the experience. -- BUTTTTT... when those tacos finally hit the table?! WORTH. THE. WAIT. -- Claypot Coffee House took two things I already love and somehow made them even better together. Sushi tacos officially have my attention, and I'm already thinking about the next order. -- Would you try a sushi taco?! And which one are you ordering first?

Downside was only one person was making the sushi so wait time was a bit longer than anticipated. The sushi taco was definitely worth the wait tho! Trash can area was over flowing and tables needed busing. The inside was super cute lots of tables they were packed! They have two cute booth rooms that id love to go back to hang out in! Cheers!
