Wow this place is slick. And posh. But also very welcoming . On two levels I couldn't help but marvel at the whole setup. It's worth a nosy, if you are curious. The displays are a feast for the eyes. The coffee bar is very cool also... and has free coffee, which is always cool. Today I was back to stock up and I used their self service area. It was extremely easy and very straight forward. So much quicker than their shop in BTs. Just remember, if you want to use the self service area, to bring your Nespresso club card with you and prepare to pay by card. That said the floor staff are on hand to help and can even issue you with another club card, as long as they can find your account on their system. Nespresso is a nice luxury and this boutique is top notch.

Nespresso is my office coffee fix... So this was a welcomed addition to the city centre. This super slick store has every time of Nespresso from the basic espresso and americano or blow a couple of hundred and mix in your milk frothers, etc. They have also every type of gadget and accessory you'd need. I'm a super fan of their cup and saucer sets, sleek and modern... plus reasonably priced! They have an awesome tasting counter, you can pop in and from their Nespresso bar, choose a capsule/coffee strength of your choice and they will make it for you. For me, it's a great way of sampling a new flavour or strength I've not tried before, so I try before I buy. Plus on a cold winters day, perfect to nip in, grab a free espresso :-) Love the concept of this store and the self service area is awesome, you grab a bag, browse all the coffee options available and the capsules can be bought in boxes of ten.. So grab as many cartons of capsules as you need, then pop the bag into the self service and scan your membership tag, your account comes up and they contents of the bag are scanned (don't ask me how, have not figured out the science... ha ha) and price all tallies up, this is an excellent way of always keeping track of what capsules you've bought before, would like to buy again/not buy again, etc. I tend to visit once a month to restock my officee coffee supply and always enjoy my visit, friendly and knowledgeable staff, so it's a pleasure to shop here.

Pick up a free coffee while shopping.

Very little in life is free; however, when I'm over that side of town laden down with shopping bags, there's nothing nicer than popping in, getting a lovely free sample of their latest flavours and having a chinwag with their enthusiastic staff about coffee. The space is gorgeous, all elegant glass, high ceilings and clean lines. The self service section at the back of the ground floor means if anyone's in an antisocial mood they can get in and out without having to make small talk. Always a plus, especially the morning after the night before, when you REALLY need that coffee. The upstairs area is great for perusing machines and chatting through various options with sales staff. I tried to buy a machine here at xmas and found the staff very helpful and accommodating - so much so that the stock kept selling out too fast, so I had to eventually venture accross to the Brown Tomas branch in order to get my machine (a handy alternative if the Boutique is out of something).

AMAZING !! The days of spending my lunch break in line for coffee in BT's is gone !! Hurray ! State of the art shop with three areas - one for tasting, a regular shop and a self service area. Very Very cool The self service is like something from the future. You don't need to scan each box you just put them all in your shopping bag and then pop the bag in the machine and as if by magic it knows what you have picked. How do they do it you ask ?? Magic !! It's the only possible answer. The tasting area is also super modern and you can have your complimentary coffee at the very fancy bar. Clearly I'm a fan !

Incredibly sleek looking store, sample the coffee and well as buy, I can see why this Nespresso "experience" is becoming a big thing! still not 100% on board in terms of the coffee....

Since I don't eat red meat, I was very excited to see a vegetarian Irish breakfast option. I ordered this as well as a mocha latte. Despite the rain, my friend and I sat outside since all of the indoor seating was occupied. Thankfully some heaters provided warmth for what could've been a chilly breakfast. Very quickly the lattes came out which my friend and I sipped on. They were soooo cute, mine had the design of a little bear on top! The latte itself was hot and not too sweet, the perfect start to the experience. After a few short minutes, the food came out! Immediately, my friend and I dug in. It was honestly everything I expected and even more! There were no weak links on the plate and there were generous portions as well. I sat there for a while working my way through my delicious plate!! Overall, I was very happy with my experience at Beanhive. It was an aesthetic cafe that also provided a hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend.

The first day we arrived to Dublin, I had a bit of a headache. I sent my husband in search of coffee and a bite in the hopes of warding off the headache. He brought back a tuna melt and mocha from The Bald Barista. Both were excellent. The tuna melt was herbaceous and flavorful and the mocha was the perfect blend or rich chocolate and strong espresso. So, a few days later when my mom arrived and was hoping for coffee and a bite, I said--I've got just the place! On that visit, we enjoyed our coffee and food in house. You order at the counter where you enter and if you're dining in, you simply take the stairs to the dining room and they'll bring you both your food and coffee. This time, I ordered the same coffee (why mess with a good thing) and a yogurt with everything (fruit, nuts, seeds--the works!). The shop itself is cute, warm, and inviting. The service is top notch with beautifully friendly folks working in here (including the Bald Barista himself). If you're in Dublin and are looking for an exemplary cuppa and some tasty bites served with a smile--this is your spot. Get to it!

They prepare and serve up coffee as a city better than any other city in the world. Sorry Seattle, Portland, its the truth. As a full fledge coffee nerd/snob I am looking for great coffee nothing more. Also if they don't roast their own beans and they are just serving someone else's coffee they will never get above a 3 star from me. I am looking strictly at the coffee and the customer service in my reviews. Accents was fantastic. When I walked in the Barista, a pretty little red headed Irish woman was doing some spectacular latte art on a Mocha, she smiled and asked me what I would like. I order just a regular Latte. They do not roast their own beans, but she was out of coffee in the grinder, she reached for a new sealed bag and I caught the name, McCabe's. I was unfamiliar so afterward I looked them up. here is the link if anyone is interested. (https://mccabecoffee.com) Local award winning Cork roaster. I watched the Barista, fill the grinder and then told me it would be a minute as she needed to dial in the espresso. I shook my head in a circle like I didn't get it but okay. She had it dialed in after 3 shots. looked like 18 in and 36 out. She was a pro, steamed my milk while the shot pulled in about 24 seconds. I ordered my drink to go but it was still presented with great art and a smile. Told me where the sugar and lids were but suggested I tried it before i added anything, that the espresso is very good. I tasted it and said, "You are right, needs nothing" and it didn't. BEST LATTE I HAVE HAD THIS TRIP TO DUBLIN. I am breaking my own rule here, I can because they are my rules, they don't roast but they use fantastic local Micro-roasted beans and prepare my drink to perfection. Don't miss this little gem the in Dublin. 5 Stars.
