The course isn't as immaculate as can be although still fun. The course has some weird orange and white flags sticking out of most holes, the sand traps are pretty much empty and crunchy. The course for the most part is very well marked though and fairways and layout are wide enough that you don't have other golfers cross crossing into your fairways to hit their pins. Most of my deductions came from the awfully rude, condescending and unprofessional pro shop experience I have ever encountered. Rather than Brianna tell us there is an additional charge for a cart seat she aggressively said she can't do it. There is an inconsistency in training from management and just the overall vibe each time we went to the proshop to check in was just a $hitty depressed tone. From the reviews sounds like not much has changed in 12 years. I think I won't be back until there's new management and they turn themselves around into the resort their name claims to be.

The primary challenge we encountered was the mosquitos, which were persistent throughout the round. While the clubhouse does provide complimentary bug spray, we were only made aware of this at the turn. A brief mention of this amenity upon check-in--especially for first-time players--would have been greatly appreciated. Following our round, we had lunch at the clubhouse restaurant, which served very good food and provided a pleasant conclusion to the day.

They charge as much as Chehalem golf course in Newberg and that course is immaculate. 27 bucks for 9 holes and a cart. Should be playing us to play that pathetic 9 holes. The greens are Swiss cheese and the worst I've ever seen. The driving range is closed due to the fact management doesn't want to keep it up. There needs to be some new owners that know how to take care of a golf course and actually care. We had to call the front desk to get another power cart to be able to get up the hill after playing the ninth because the battery died.
