Amazing golf course! Great price for 18 holes! The course is challenging and great for all handicaps.

Good course to play in the winter. Greens were in great shape for February.

Our 11:10 tee time cost approximately $175 per person with carts--nearly $700 for the foursome. Pumpkin Ridge markets and prices itself as a premium golf destination. Unfortunately, the premium experience ends with the course itself. At that price, the carts do not even have GPS. More importantly, the starter gave us no target pace and made no mention whatsoever of pace-of-play expectations during the briefing. We teed off around 11:15 and remained directly behind the foursome ahead of us. The twosome behind us never asked to play through, and nobody said a word to us about our pace for the first 14 holes. Then, as we walked onto the 15th around 2:45, a marshal approached us, claimed there had been "multiple complaints," and admonished us to speed up. Speed up and go where, exactly? We were still directly behind another foursome. We had stopped briefly at the food truck near the seventh hole and purchased drinks from the beverage cart. Those are amenities Pumpkin Ridge deliberately provides and profits from. If guests cannot use them without throwing the schedule into disarray, the problem is an overpacked tee sheet and poor course management--not the customers paying premium prices. We finished in approximately four and a half hours on a packed holiday without ever losing our position behind the group ahead. Guests should not spend a nearly $700 afternoon at a supposedly high-end course feeling rushed, blamed, and unwelcome because management cannot competently manage its own tee sheet. The customer service afterward was no better. I had to chase Assistant General Manager Sebastian Stewart for a response. What eventually arrived amounted to a boilerplate apology, a promise to "review" the situation internally, and no substantive follow-up or meaningful attempt to address the experience. Even the service recovery felt indifferent and low-effort. Great course. Outdated technology, municipal-level hospitality, and remarkably poor course management. Pumpkin Ridge appears to believe its reputation and scenery are enough to justify premium pricing. They are not. If you actually want a premium golf experience, spend your money at The Reserve or Langdon Farms. A high-end experience should include clear expectations, competent pace management, modern amenities, and genuine hospitality--not merely attractive fairways and an inflated green fee. None of the four of us plans to return.

After trying out multiple instructors in the Portland area (Redtail, Pumpkin Ridge, Rock Creek) and several others in the US (at least 50 hours of total instruction), Golftec stands out to me as one of the best setups for a golfer looking to improve. Michael's approach on the game is multifaceted, not just how best to swing a club. We go through swing mechanics on an indoor simulator and apply them during playing lessons on-course. Short-game and putting lessons have been the weakest part of my game, but now are a more confident part of my game. Instruction on strategy and course management has dramatically increased my percentage of hitting greens on approach shots. Michael's engineering background, his deep knowledge of the game, and his passion for instruction helped me better understand my golf game. I now am better equipped to self diagnose and fix day-to-day adjustments in my swing. The facility also allows for indoor practice on a simulator which is key for off-season improvement to ready for the new season. The video recording/playback in the practice sessions allows you to see whether or not the swing mechanics taught during lessons are being implemented during practice. This feature has increased the efficacy of my practice sessions in a way I couldn't have imagined previously. I can write another page worth of praise for Michael and Golftec, but it's just easier for you to try it yourself. Go in for a swing evaluation; it's $95 and it's likely you'll walk away from that session with actual solutions that work rather than YouTubing/Instagraming a fix that will cause more problems than it fixes.

Dick's sporting goods got my money and will continue to get my money because of LANCE. Had the perception, I should support a small business owner. So despite the negative reviews I went to ParWest Golf FIRST (w/$1500. to spend). There were three employees in the building. We knew this because we became the only patrons in the shop. We spoke loud enough for them to her us, we asked to hit a few balls, we asked questions about what was available - we gave them so many opportunities to ignite and build a sale but instead, we walked in and found the front counter employee on their phone, then they were fixed on some game on tv. Even after we tried a club out they didn't even try to engage us. We left and went to Galaxy Golf with the perception of it being corporate. HUGELY mistaken. Lance gave us some time on the floor. Gently approached. Answered our questions and then got us on the range to test out our potential clubs. Lance gave me some education tips. Gave me space to think and I bought the full set and met the trainer for lessons. lance also recommended Stone Creek in Oregon City, OR to practice and take my dad. Literal high five to Golf Galaxy. You have my money and my loyalty.

This is my 2nd attempt coming in within the last few months and same experience. I really tried, but am writing this review to share my experience and to warn other shoppers to go to a different spot. Huge let down and most likely won't return nor advise anyone to go to this store in person.
