There hasn't been any new reviews for this place in over 2 years and you will learn why. My wife and daughter tagged along with me for an ice cream outing on 12/8/24 Sunday afternoon. The business name on the exterior store front actually says "Water & More" so don't come here looking for "Neptune's Waters" as listed on their Yelp business page. There's plenty of parking, it's shared parking with multiple businesses in a strip mall setting. A few doors down is Goodwill and you can't miss that. Inside of this place is completely hole in the wall vibe. If you've ever gone to Tijuana Mexico for dental services like I have and had to sit in their waiting room lobby, this is that kind of vibe. Forget the nice ambience you've seen at Coldstone Creamery or Baskin Robbins, this ain't it so be prepared. If Chef Ramsay from Hell's Kitchen had a restaurant rescue episode and they were doing ice cream shops than they would NEED to come here. The interior of this store has the same level of appeal as a Chevron gas station public restroom. I hope they will change this. Older 2+ year reviews show nicer IKEA type of furniture pieces in store but that's not the case now. Currently, it looks like they went to Goodwill next door and got the most run down furniture pieces they could find and took that into their own store. This was our very first time here so we had questions. We asked about sizes, pricing and flavors. The worker was a female high school looking person. The questions we asked were weakly answered in a bare whisper tone even though there was a live TV in the background that superseded the workers whispering tone. Not sure if she was trying to be girly cute or win the most unprofessional worker of the year award but she was definitely NOT wanting to be working there. She might as well be wearing a shirt that said "I H8 my job" as this already showed in her face and demeanor. We would have been better served by a robot drone than this live person. If you think you're having a great day and nothing can change your mood, than please come here and experience their customer service. It will make you think twice about that good day you're having. So she wasn't exactly rude but simply unfriendly. Maybe we interrupted her social media livestream before we entered the store, who knows? We are a couple in our 40's with a teen daughter, a typical family from Hawaii. Why couldn't we at least get a "hello how are you guys doing?" from the high school looking worker. Did we look like Puff Diddy henchman white party recruiters to her? No we're not but she was socially awkward like we were. Truly weird. Why put her in front to interact with your customers? Place her in back of house duties instead. Let her interact with dirty dishes and taking out the trash instead. Look at my profile pic, I don't give out Puff Diddy vibes, neither does my wife or daughter. Tell your high school worker to pretend that all customers are Justin Bieber and that will mentally prepare her high school mind for correct customer interactions. So finally the ONLY good part of this review: they really do have a great selection of old school Thrifty's ice cream here. All the good flavors you can think of: Butter Pecan, Strawberry Cheesecake, Pineapple Coconut, Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Chip, Cotton Candy, and many many more. Thrifty's ice cream is the best of the best!! The only people who will understand this is the older generation. If your generation played Nintendo and Sega Genesis video games, than you know what I mean. This was the best ice cream back in the day and in my opinion still is awesome. So will I come here again? Yes, I will but strictly only for the ice cream. They do sell other things like filtered water, milk shakes, floats but we only got the ice cream. I highly highly recommend the ice cream so please come here. So as of 12/8/24 the interior design of this place is EPIC FAIL as well as the customer service we got. Business owner(s) of this place please think about retraining your staff. Basic customer service is not rocket science. Here I'll give you some free tips: say a greeting, engage with customers with friendly chatter, offer ice cream samples, and do all this with a smile. ALL of which was not done with us even though we spent almost $40 in ice cream on our 1st visit. But remember, don't expect any form of customer service not even the bare minimum and don't be surprised when you see the inside of the store look like a Tijuana Mexico dental service waiting lobby. Just go and get your ice cream and get out. Enjoy eating that ice cream at home. Best suited for Door Dash or Uber Eats delivery so you don't have to see the inside of the store and deal with their customer service. I actually wanted to give this place 1 star but the ice cream by itself added the extra 3 stars so I reconsidered the 1 star rating. It's that good!! read more

Love this store until I come in with kids and there is a half naked girl at the register. I was very disappointed. Why would anyone dress like that? It's not a hooters or a strip club. Great small shop that sells water and thrifty ice cream! I grew up on thrifty ice cream and love it! Excellent customer service and great sweets selection. They sell a few different items such as jugs of water, milkshakes, Italian sodas, thrifty ice cream, and more. They have 34 flavors of thrifty ice cream and always super nice about letting you try samples. Some of my favorites are mint chocolate chip, pistachio, pecan praline, and cherry chip. The scoops are good size too! 2 scoops in a cup is plenty for me! Great family and kid friendly place. The decor is marvel super hero theme and the shop is always very clean. They have a few tables inside so you can sit and enjoy your ice cream there if you choose. I can't wait to come back and try other options like the Italian sodas! read more

Great atmosphere! They have thrifty ice cream which is super exciting seeing as you don't see that often out here. We also ordered a cup of shaved ice which was Inc credibly tasty. The syrup they use has tons of flavor and isn't overwhelmingly sweet. They have a coffee machine and coffee beverages too but the machine was out of service when i went. The service here is amazing too! We spent over an hour here, talking, having ice cream, and playing board games. We'll definitely be back! read more

It's a water place! They have all kinds of water. It's offered at a fair price. They'll put it in your jug if you bring your jug in! They also have thrifty's ice cream. The ice cream is cold and it tastes good. It too is offered at a fair price. If you pay them for the water or the ice cream, they will treat you very nicely. If you steal the water or ice cream, they will not be very nice. There are lots of comic book characters on the walls and there are tables and a TV for you to bring your annoying children. Excellent customer service. Great place to get some ice cream and thrifty ice cream too! The shave ice we got didn't have much syrup, maybe because I asked for 2 flavors? But service was great, the kids were happy. The guy who was helping us originally from Fallon, NV is sooo nice. He was trying out making Thai rolled ice cream and let us sample it. Super good! Love this place. Decent snow cone flavors and my son loved the blueberry cheesecake Thrifty's ice-cream. The manager on duty was very friendly and super patient with my son. They have a multi game arcade machine and he helped him find fun games and explained the system to him. Plenty of seats and super clean. Prices were fair and it's close to our favorite library. It is nostalgic as I used to have that when I was a child and now my 8-year-old is able to enjoy it as well. It feels kind of odd leaving a review for a water store, seeing as how most of them you would just go in and get water and leave, but this place is awesome! Modern and nostalgic comic book swag everywhere, Thrifty Ice Cream(and if you know your ice cream, you know Thrifty wears the crown), better water prices then anywhere(ionized and ro), fast fills and the owner is very kick back and easy to get along with. Love coming here to fill up my water. They have a great rewards problem, discount specials on RO water & alkaline water. They also have a station where you can clean out your empty water gallons, to disinfect. The water is fresh and you can taste the difference. I think the yummy ice cream is an added plus!
