Best price + super fast for Alkaline!!!! We've been coming here for over a year now so thankful we found it!. For alkaline, other water shops you have to drop off the gallons and pick up hours later and the cost is way more! This is the best place in Phoenix for water especially Alkaline. Filling water is hassle-free , they make your pre-paid cards and you just strikethrough the number of gallons from 50 gallons ($10) cards everytime your visit. Omgee Vern's Water Well has been around over 20 years! The last time I seen Vern he was young and I believe single. He usually had dark hair and was going through his blonde phase at the time. So neat to see him find love and his business continue to thrive! He is always so positive and upbeat. He has such good character and runs a great store! The water and ice are clear and always taste great. I used to live in Stetson Hills and this was my go to water store for 5 years. My son is getting all of his vaccinations up to date for school, and afterwards I always get him ice cream. We decided to switch it up from a DQ or Sonic and we were not disappointed. The ice cream here at Vern's was fantastic, and the pricing was much fairer to my pocket than Sonic is. I had a Carmel Pecan waffle cone and my son had chocolate and strawberry, all were delicious. While I was there, the owner came out and wiped down tables, and talked with me about other products he has, including Alkaline water. We've been coming to Verns for more than 15 years and never thought to write a review because ... it's always fantastic, always has happy customers coming and going and their prices are SO great. Decided to write a little review because everyone needs to know a few more things about Verns. Not only is their water the BEST; 1. They have GREAT ice. We need good ice...it needs to fit in a glass, be soft enough that if blended, the blender blades don't get ruined and yet be clear....nothing cloudy. Vern's ice is this and more! The price. Can't beat it. 2. If you need large quantities of ice...this is your place. We used to have a restaurant and when our ice machine broke, we found a delivery ice company...their price nearly broke us! We had to not only find the money to repair the ice machine, but then the delivery of temporary ice really broke the bank. And they had huge minimums so the extra took up a lot of room in our freezer. Verns' ice delivery is reasonable, good ice and won't break your bank! 3. Extras....discounted water when you purchase a card, the BEST ice cream...(Thrifty!) and super awesome nice staff. If i can rate 0 stars i would ask the young man with glasses if they had other flavors so he checks then he said he cant open any more untill these are used which its clearly empty and gave me an attitude and still insisted that I was wrong. What i don't get is why would you serve this to people or knowing there's nothing left in it it's all frostbite it does not look right you can't even make a whole scoop so would you argue with me being personal its not your rules? But its empty that my point. Would never come here again this is disgusting it's smelled it bad i've never had a rude incountering before here so it's unfortunate that these new employees are not getting trained right to serve their customers to the best quality that they can esspecially when it comes to food that were consuming. I really hope they do something about this because they just lost a costumer due to a scoop of ice that wouldnt have even made an entire scoop. read more

We get our water here all the time, great place with easy in/out, plenty of spouts for water, and great extras like Thrifty ice cream. Only complaint is that they do not sell glass bottles since that is what we prefer to use over plastic; but that's not really much to "complain" about. The 24 hour self serve units are also reliable and easy to use. read more
