Greaaaaat service from begging to start. Responsible pricing. Kind people. Both Brad and Nelson. I'd work with them again

Excellent customer and detail-oriented. I've had to use them three times over the past few months in San Rafael, CA, to Oakland, CA, and the customer service has been exceptional, and the professionalism has always been 100%. The prices have spiked, but I would use them as they are professional, engaging, and always on time. read more

Amy at Nelson's kept in contact and did an excellent job! Thx Amy. She didn't seem overwhelmed with our tow and updated us consistently. When we needed followup info, Amy was thorough and spoke in good faith. We felt genuinely cared for after going thru such an ordeal. Thanks again !! read more

After a grueling situation dealing with my extended warranties roadside assistance (3 hours behind schedule, 4 other tow companies) Nelson's came through in less than a half an hour and hooked me up! He was quick and about his business! Thank you soooooooooo much! I didn't catch his name, but if the company looks at their towing records to concord Kia, that's me. I appreciate you! You saved my day!! read more

After a disjointed call tow service with another tow service, my roadside assistance provider Connect arranged another tow service to come to my house. Turbo Tow lmk that their calls to my phone goes straight to voicemail. Alex from Turbo Tow text messaged me to clarify their position. It was nice of him to follow up. He advised for me to call the other service so as not to miss their call attempts. I did and spoke to a very nice lady whom I regret did not ask her name She lmk that the tow truck is in the vicinity. Mr Nelson arrived quickly. The official eta was 35-60 minutes, but he made it in 20. My 2007 Prius had a dead battery which he charged from the rear in no time at all. The car started. I didn't need a tow after all. Drove my car to my mechanic. Thanks very much Mr Nelson! read more

Very helpful and fixed my car, very happy. Amy in the office was WONDERFUL. would definitely use their services again.

I really love this tow company! They are so nice and I love how easy-going and friendly they are on the phone. I have a 1973 Ford F350 Flatbed truck and they never give me a hard time about towing her from here to there when I have issues. Yesterday I needed my truck moved from in front of my house to my driveway and called AAA who denied me as they told me it was a "convenience" call. They told me I had to call A local tow company because they would not help me. They were only taking emergency calls only. Technically this was an emergency because thanks to a nosy neighbor, the police had asked me to move my vehicle Otherwise it would be towed. Luckily I knew about Nelson's, so I called them and they came within 20 minutes! The driver Brad who I've worked with before with my truck is like a surgeon with that tow truck lol... and it was raining! $60 and 30 minutes after the call later ... The job was done. Amazing time management, efficiency, great attitude and very inexpensive. I highly recommend using this company. Thank you Nelson's Towing! read more

A High Five to this stellar company with intelligent, friendly customer service and professional tow operators. This company is top notch. I wouldn't trust our vintage Jaguar XJ-6 with just anyone and especially, for such a long tow to the Bay Area. From the moment Brad showed up and greeted me, I knew I was in the hands of a pro. He even handily jump started the engine and gave me pointers about maintaining the auto's body. Seamless, quick and knowledgeable customer service all the way from dispatch, run by Amy, to Nelson's tow operators. Brad, our tow technician, was amazing. Thanks for easing our worries and making this a great experience!! read more

Called this man for a tow and he tried to tell me he couldnt do it because my car is rear wheel drive i told him it is front wheel drive then he says o well i cant do it right now why even bother to answer the phone this lazy tow guy crazy read more

If I could give this place a zero I would. First, I never leave reviews, but this place needs it. After getting the run around from this place who was working with our insurance to get a tow for our fifth wheel they tell us to go find someone else. But wait, that was after four hours, yes that's right four hours of waiting that this company said, oh sorry we can get out to you. We have had a busy day and some missed communication with our drivers. Could they not have said that to us earlier ago. Probably not because they wanted to make some money. Thankfully our insurance was able to find us another tow vehicle and they showed up within half an hour. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. No professionalism & treats their customers poorly! And, to top it off they over charge you. It's a helping service for when one' needs assistance getting their car from point A to B, but they're more worried about how much they're going to profit from the towing rather than helping. Oh, and they love to point that out and yell in your ear. WORST TOWING COMPANY, PLEASE DON'T USE THERE SERVICES!! read more

Dangerous! These guys drive very recklessly. You would think they would cause accidents after seeing what they can do to cars. Don't trust them. read more

We were stuck in the middle of HWY 37 when our alternator gave out on us in the middle of the night. Nelson came over in just over 30 minutes and took us to where we were headed. Super nice guy! Very fast and reliable, I totally recommend him. Very grateful for his help!! read more

I was stranded at 11pm on HWY 37 with a flat tire. AAA had a more than 4 hour wait time and never completed my request. One Nelson's drivers spotted me and got me to a tire shop when he was on his way home. Way to go above and beyond. Thank you read more

Lance even a broken clock is right two times a day. you got lucky. The reviews are not ignorant they are honest. Horrible and unprofessional service here. Save yourself some grief and go to another towing service. One of the worst experiences as far as dealing with a company I have ever had. I have no idea how they are still in business. read more

I've had a LOT of tows over the past few years due to a few lemon vehicles, and let me say that Nelson's was probably the most pleasant tow experience I've ever had. Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which I've never said about any tow company before!! My oversize vehicle broke down on the freeway in the middle of the night and AAA and Geico said they couldn't find anyone to help me :O I started calling tow companies on my own and Nelson's answered right away even though it was 1AM. Nelson himself came and picked me up. He was extremely careful loading and unloading my vehicle, which is very large and requires skates during loading to avoid scraping the pavement when it tilts. I was very impressed with how carefully he treated my vehicle as many tow truck drivers don't bother, scrape it up, and need to be asked multiple times and directed while using the skates. I was having a really awful night being stuck on the freeway and Nelson was so so kind and really helped make me feel better. He towed us about 40 miles. I few days later I called to request an invoice so I can bill it to my insurance company on my own, and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and emailed me a scan of the invoice right away. Excellent experience and would definitely use them again, which I've never said about any tow company before!! read more

Honestly Nelsons towing service has the best crew and they all act like family. And I know it is owned by Nelson himself. With his family and friends he continues to provide a great service as the #1 service provider in Vallejo. Thank you. And they are definitely the men you want to know when you need a tow. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. March 13 a driver from Nelson's Towing Services arrived at my home to tow my vehicle to a local repair shop. While attempting to winch my car from my driveway onto the flatbed, the driver sheered off one of the rear tow hooks and damaged the muffler and exhaust system. The negligent driver should have loaded my vehicle from the front because it is front wheel drive. I must now go through the hassle of arranging with my insurance to repair the damage to my car that this thoughtless driver caused. Once the car was loaded, the driver left long webbing straps hanging off the flatbed that dragged in the street while he drove. The driver told the repair shop he would drop the broken tow hook off, but did not follow through. I cannot recommend this business. read more

I received excellent service at the agreed upon price. The driver tried for quite some time to get my van started before towing it. He gave me and my partner a ride to the repair shop. I was en route from Oakland to Willows when I broke down. Nelson's did not take advantage of the situation. Thanks! read more

Nelson came up to Calistoga on the Sunday afternoon of Memorial day weekend to load my Porsche onto his flatbed. He was careful and polite. Nelson even texted me pictures of my car parked at its destination. read more

About a month ago, I was traveling on Mare Island and I ended up with two flat tires. It was a Saturday evening and I didn't have a lot of options. Fortunately, Nelson's Towing was available. Hazem saved the day. We had a transmission go bad and was working with OnStar to get a tow on Sunday to our dealer 45 miles away. After an hour and half, first toe service bailed on us leaving us stranded. Hazem and his Dad came through and arrived 20 minutes later when they said they would. Car was delivered to our dealer. Hazem FaceTimed us upon arrival and delivery. Can't recommend someone of that quality and follow through enough. Thank god there still are people who care about their craft. read more

Thank you so much for the great service. My car broke down on Highway 12 tonight and it took a little longer than expected for the driver to show up, but upon arrival, the driver apologized immediately. I had called for the ETA and told him I was female and alone and it was already dark. He said that he would rush to get to me and he arrived immediately. The Highway Patrol pulled over to wait with me about a half hour before he arrived . The driver took me from Napa to Vacaville. Super kind, appreciate the way he handled being late. I would definately use Nelson's Towing again. read more

I have used Nelson's Towing service twice for two different cars and the service I received was incredibly professional, careful, and friendly. As a woman, I'm very cautious about hiring towing services but Hazem was very courteous and made me feel at ease. I want to personally thank one of your driver's, Brad. This guy was awesome this morning. Brad picked up my 2019 Shelby GT350 today and hauled it to the dealer for repairs. Brad took extra care and precautions facilitating the upload and offload of my car, knowing full well that the car had low clearance issues, thus preventing any damage to my vehicle. Brad knew exactly how to prep the car and made me feel confident in his ability to get the job done. More importantly, Brad did not force me to sign any kind of a release of liability statement, which really told me that this was the right guy for the job and that he wasn't nervous about getting the job done safely and without issues. I would most definitely recommend Nelson's Towing for any towing needs. If you have a low clearance performance sports car and you need a tow, Call Brad at Nelson's and he will get it done. Thanks again Brad, you truly made my day today. read more

I am so very thankful for the amazing service that Lance provided for me. I had contacted him to ask him about his time arrival and that I needed to get to a les shwab before closing and he cut over an hour and a half of time off of my wait to ensure that I make it to les shwab on time. He also noticed that my car was idling strangely and he helped me with a quick fix on my air filter to allow it to feed air properly. I don't expect such a great service from a tow company but when I did get this outstanding service it really brightened my day from the bad situation I had been put in. read more

This is my favorite towing company from now and forever! Hazem the driver showed up promptly. He is very knowledgeable, professional and Hazem has skills! I am only giving one star because I have no choice. I would give zero stars if possible. Can't comment on to their service because after 2 1/2 hours of waiting I had farmers roadside assistance cancel with them. I have a RAV4 that is all-wheel-drive and requires a flatbed to tow it. Maybe that had something to do with how long it was taking. But I still don't understand how if I am told by roadside assistance that the tow will be there between 45 minutes and 60 minutes and an hour and a half later when I contact the roadside service they get back to me to say they are being told it will be another 15 minutes then why is it they never show! After looking at so many other of the reviews I can see that this is a very sloppy run company and I can guarantee they will never have a customer in me as well as for the next couple days that's all I will be talking about is how Nelsons tow company screwed my day over. read more

Because of this guy's lack of common sense and ablity to do his job my engine got blown up and my car got totalled! He drove the car with no oil in my engine both at pickup and drop off. Called to confirm, showed up within 15 minutes, loaded quick and was very pleasant. Thanks Hazem.

If you are looking for THE WORST SERVICE EVER call this company!!! This company doesn't speak English will take an hour longer than projected to arrive then extort you for more money than agreed upon; before your vehicle is loaded, 40 minutes later my truck was loaded in the crapiest truck you could ask for, then call them. My insurance company told me to go through them, worst mistake ever!!! Then when I called to file a complaint the dispatcher could not speak English and kept giving me the run around. If I could give them company negative stars I would! read more

My dad's car had an accident at Napa around 4:10. We finally got a Tow truck at 6:40 and there was another problem. The insurance gave Nelson the wrong address, instead of taking us to Fairfield where we live, they gave him another address in Napa. He was pretty annoyed/mad at the insurance and us. Nelson kept calling and calling and even told us to call for about 20 minutes. Me and my dad got tired of waiting so my dad asked him how much would it be to take us to Fairfield? He said another $100 dollars. My dad DID NOT Have to pay because it wasn't our fault so I called his insurance for him. As Time goes by, Nelson got $75 dollars because of their mistake And for the ride there and he was still a bit mad. We finally arrived home around 8:30 and my dad gave him another $25 dollars. I would Have gave him 5 stars if he didn't blame us for the mistakes or for asking for us to pay. But he did a good thing and didn't leave us like how other Towing people do when they didn't get the correct amount of money they want. Nice man read more
