I'm a retired police sergeant and spent 10 years in the trades prior to my law enforcement career. While in the trades I once supervised a crew of 80 commercial framers and drywall hangers. After being provided with a detailed estimate, Chris and his crew were hired. Chris actually encouraged me to get multiple estimates (which I did not). Chris stayed in contact with me until the day of the job. Chris, his crew, a sub-contracted crane service and the utility company all arrived at the scheduled time, set up and went to work. They took all precautions for site safety and my landscaping. Once working, the communication and coordination between the crew members was spot on. I understand the challenges of keeping a crew moving and I was impressed. It only took them approximately three hours to take down, cut up and clean up a 75' Hackberry tree. They are a well oiled machine and left the yard in great condition. LP Tree Service has been in business for 60+ years. He quoted me 1000 bucks which I thought was fare. I called him back in September of this year for a quote to prune that same tree and he recommended removal instead of pruning it due to safety. I called him about a few weeks later and asked him if he would still be able to do the job around the 4th of November he accepted but said it might not be that exact day but he could do the job. I reached out to Eddy on October 27th to see if he had a day in mind he would be able to do the job he texted me back and said I don't think we will be a good suit for you . I had two diseased trees in my backyard that needed to be cut down. Being new to the area, I really didn't know who to call. I got a few quotes that were reasonable, but I didn't feel comfortable with the vendors. I found Livick Tree Service online and thought they did a nice job on their website, so I gave them a call. Can't tell you who I talked to, but they indicated they were pretty busy, but had a bigger job to do in the area and believed they could get mine done on the way back. Although they gave me a time frame (which I don't remember), I didn't hear back, so I called again and they indicated they were still tied up on a larger job, but should be able to get to it soon. Fast forward to the next morning... I was looking out by windows into the backyard and my trees were GONE! I thought I was seeing things at first. I walked out and sure enough, they had come and taken down the two trees. I am a very picky guy and their work was nothing short of amazing. They didn't leave a trace that they had been there. No twigs, no loose brush, nothing. I was amazed at how clean my yard was when they were done. Livick Tree Service does fantastic work at a very reasonable price.
