The world needs more companies like Nelson Tree Service. I say this for several reasons…read more Nelson Tree Service worked with my finances, understood that I'm not made of money, they got the trees down, and I will rest a lot easier now that I know my kids are safer sleeping in their beds at night. This one tree was a monster, maybe 80' tall, and 2.5' diameter at the base. They didn't have to do this for me knowing I couldn't pay in full or even pay much at all. They did it, because they knew it needed to be done. They did it, because they didn't want them to fall on my house or my kids. There aren't too many companies like this out there. Cherish them when you find them. Another company for example told me it would cost almost 3x as much, that they needed specialized equipment, and that they wanted me to take sections of my fence down too... Nelson's? They showed up, climbed up, used ropes, and saws... No damage to anything.

They did an amazing job and truly are "tree pros." There was no damage my house, patio, or other structures even though the trees were very close to several structures. They cleaned up as they worked and left my yard in good condition. I had asked to keep the wood so they cut it into manageable pieces and stacked it for me. They also got me in contact and arranged for all my stumps and roots to be ground down. They were prompt with their communication and offered fair pricing that was actually less than other companies had quoted. Highly recommended this company for any difficult tree removal jobs.

Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. They came back, took the tree down for us, and thank goodness they did. The tree was rotting all the way through and all the way to the roots. They took the entire tree down without it touching any of the close obstacles, hauled everything away, cleaned the entire area better than it was prior, and now you can't even tell there was a tree there. So professional and amazing to work with!
